Some anarchist groups who also identify with antifascism use the circled A as a symbol for both anarchism and antifascism but other than that, antifa really is just the idea of opposing fascism, without any central organisation or symbol.

thanks, this will be great to switch to! I've found google's engine to give me better results when searching sites like "site:reddit.com/r/privacy thing", so it should help.
at the risk of repeating myself every time these threads happen, the police really need to get a bunch of these Police Mobile Rave Units and just drive onto the site blasting out some really dodgy Euro House from the 90s, that would clear the crowd off, well except that one guy who took too many mushrooms and is locked in a psychedelic vortex dance-off against his new best friend, a puddle.
This is why it is SO important to use a VPN or proxy to access sensitive sites.
TIP: You can search for the website disruptj20.org privately at StartPage.com and then visit the site privately using the free StartPage.com proxy link option.
When you search with StartPage, you are protected. StartPage does not log any personal information, and your searches remain private. Even Edward Snowden has recommended StartPage no-logging privacy.
When you visit the disruptj20.org site through the free StartPage proxy, StartPage doesn't "see" you and neither does the website or host. All they would see is StartPage. This also prevents you from getting any tracking devices, adware or malware on your browser while you visit through the proxy.
Google's results are customized for you, unless you use https://www.startpage.com/ so that's not what everyone sees in their top results, it's based on what you've looked at, searched, and been tracked to by google.
Or
I'd love to see a reliable source for this quote.
Not legal advice, but whatever you are googling, try using those search terms with DuckDuckGo or StartPage if you aren't already. Google may be personalizing your results based on your cookies, location, ip-address, or browser fingerprint, and what is displayed to you may not be what a potential employer would see.
Try the same search at https://www.startpage.com/, it uses unfiltered google (and other engines) results and insulates the user from tracking and search bubbling. They don't offer search suggestions as they don't store anything (if you click back even the original search is gone) but the results will speak for themselves. I rarely need another service.
Umm.. Okay idiot, let's unpack this. Companies have the right to boot anyone off of their platform. This sassy science webcomic says so. Hold on, lemme get this call.

DuckDuckGo is more than "repackaged" Bing, in the sense that it's not a skin.
It removes the links between the user and Bing, so that Microsoft isn't able to build a dossier on Bing searches done through DuckDuckGo. It preserves users’ privacy and anonymity.
It also has a nifty feature they call Bangs, that let you direct searches using other search engines and/or sites. "!g cats" uses Google to search on "cats" anonymously, for instance. Or "!yt cats" lets you search YouTube for "cats". Wonder what Wikipedia has on cats? Type in "!w cats"! They also support a number of privacy-centric groups and efforts, and publish a blog that covers themselves (duh) and other privacy-centric news (yay!).
For those that want a similar experience using Google's search engine as a default, instead of using the !g prefix on DDG, StartPage is a great alternative!
The trends were extremely new, so all ages were wearing this. Back in my time, the average teenage girl's special occasion dress code was also receptionist wear.

I love that you linked a google search about google being funded by the government...
Here's google results without using google: https://www.startpage.com/do/search?q=google+funded+by+us+government
They're the gauges behind the steering wheel, like the speedometer and tachometer.
They seem to have a similar privacy policy as far as I'm aware - I don't see anything unreasonable in either of them. I personally use StartPage since it provides more relevant results in language that aren't English.
Here are the Privacy Policies of DuckDuckGo and Startpage if you want to have a look at them and see which one feels right.
This FAQ is easily answered by a general web search, but I'll try boiling it down. The reason there are so many Linux distros is because each distro tries to satisfy the shared desires of their "builders" and users. The specifics of those desires vary from distro to distro, but mostly the differences between distros come down to one or more of the following:
Bing it on! However, if you do want to search Google for some reason, let me introduce you to a little search engine called StartPage: https://www.startpage.com/
I find it's a little slower then a direct google search, but it's nice knowing google is essentially gathering nothing about me.
Yeah there's something there. Not sure what just yet, but something.
Here's that series btw: https://www.reddit.com/r/C_S_T/comments/4nh4fa/1_the_heliocentric_geometry_were_given_for_the/
Just to jump in the deep end and extrapolate upon the series...
I think the Sirius system is home to our sister race -- I guess we'd call them the Syrians, no? They're currently on the downslide from their Golden Age, just as we're digging out of our Kali Yuga (Iron Age). As such, they're at a much higher level of consciousness than humans (Solians?) are at present.
I assume they have already visited, but they're keeping hands-off to let humanity experience its own tribulations and grow from them. They are what we presently view as angels.
(This, in contrast to the Satanic faction of prior root races -- Atlanteans, Lemurians, & Polars -- currently ruling the Earth. Would you rather serve in Heaven or rule in Hell? They made their choice and stayed behind, while the Angelic factions have moved on to explore the galaxy.) Or maybe it was named to remind us of our sister race.
That's about as far as my head got before being distracted by life, etc., but I appreciate you resurrecting the thought train. Maybe time to spiral back to it, so to speak. I'm guessing Sirians visited the area now called Syria. (A bit far from the Dogon tribe though.)
There is a ton of info here (grains of salt, etc) -- I haven't pawed through it all yet, but perhaps it'll lead to additional understanding.

Startpage.com offers Google search results in privacy. NO logging of personal info, like IP addresses. No tracking cookies.
Plus, Startpage.com has Anonymous View that fixes the main problem with private search: what happens after you click a result.
Once you click into a 3rd party website you find -- even using a privacy search engine -- you are in the Wild West of tracking. Startpage.com changes this with Anonymous View.
If you click into a website using the Anonymous View link, you stay hidden from the website and its marketers. All they see is Startpage.com
Anonymous View also protects against fingerprinting by obfuscating your device info, IP address etc.
Hope this helps!
I have a cool trick to share with you! You should be able to see this article if you go to Startpage.com and search for this:
mark zuckerberg stamford trash
Then click on the Anonymous View link that will show to the right of the search result. Anonymous View obfuscates your user info so you cannot be fingerprinted or tracked via your IP address etc.. It's like a VPN, fingerprinting protection, and tracking protection all in one. The website only sees Startpage.com, while you stay hidden.
You can also click on links while you are in Anonymous View, so it also allows you to "surf" anonymously.
Hope this helps!
> Google and Facebook have algorithms that only show you things you "liked" before. So everyone's search results are tailored to keep you in a information bubble. Even you and I.
Not everyone's search results. Maybe yours, but not mine.
Trust me, Google is one of the things I hate most. I just like to keep my eyes open and when an alternative is pushed this hard I had to research it. I really can't tell what hasn't been compromised. I use Start Page at the moment. It isn't great in terms of functionality but it is apparently privacy-centred. I don't know if there is even a place on the internet which is completely private.
Another option is Startpage.com. Both are good and deliver slightly different results, so it may be good to use them both:
Startpage.com = mainly Google search results in privacy
DuckDuckGo = mainly Yahoo /Bing search results in privacy
Both incorporate other results for things like instant answers and have unique features.
Startpage.com has an Anonymous View feature that lets you visit results in privacy, too. Many people don't realize that once you click a regular search result link -- even at a private search engine -- you are in the Wild West of tracking again. Startpage AV fixes this.
DuckDuckGo has some cool features, too, like "bangs" that let you switch quickly to another website. For example, if you don't find results you like at DDG, you can type !s or !sp to get Startpage for Google results in privacy. You can type !w to go to Wikipedia. (But note that bangs don't offer any privacy protections themselves.)
Here's a better idea, if you're serious about privacy: Stop using a search engine that can definitely recognize you as you whether you're logged in or not, based on IP and fingerprint (panopticlick can show you how easy you are to recognize), and logs any and all activity.
I recommed DuckDuckGo, although StartPage also seems reasonable.
wow, I actually disagree with nearly everything you said but it was especially interesting that you brought up the "coffee lawsuit". I assume you're talking about the McDonalds one, right?
Turns out, they were serving their coffee absurdly hot (to cut costs). The ultra-hot coffee caused severe (3rd degree burns I think?) burns and the victim sued just to cover medical costs. McDonalds then went on a smear campaign against "frivolous lawsuits".
here's a good summary of that one.
There's more where that came from though if you want a different source.
Enhanced is the important word here, check this link. Your requests transit to private servers and are returned to you without fingerprinting. And cherry on the cake, you can choose to transit through EU servers instead of american ones as opposed to DDG which is based in the US
It was but they claimed it will not impact their search engine. Privacy Policy still states that they don't collect nor share any data.

Correct, however, they anonymize the results from google.
The problem I've always had with DDG is that unless I get the search query just right I don't always get the results I need/want. StartPage seems to provide that nice balance between useful results with poor search terms and privacy.
That said, the reason for specifically linking start page was the message I was responding to was linking google, so I wanted to provide as similar results.
I think it's amazing you can google: "Google funded by us government" and get some fairly negative results about google.
So much for "Don't be evil" more like "Don't be so evil we can't get away with it".

Sweden changed what they define as rape to help cover up for the massive amount of rape. T
Back before they had to ban "Swedish men" from music festivals they tried to tell us the reason for the skyrocketing rape statistics was because they defined rape differently. They were trying to tell us that Sweden started calling everything rape, so that was why there was so much of it.

Not OP.
This haul is probably shrink because of "best before" date.
Not sure where OP lives but where I live past date items can't be sold.
So the answer is probably a big store that tossed it.
Using the !g bang is like going directly to Google. That defeats the whole purpose of private search. DDG confirms this here.
Use the !s or !sp bang to get Google search results in privacy.
Those bangs go to Startpage.com, so it's ok. Startpage delivers mainly Google results without logging or sharing any user personal information. Plus, Startpage offers Anonymous View so you can visit the sites you find anonymously, too.
Startpage.com is also a great privacy search option, along with DuckDuckGo:
Startpage = mainly Google search results in privacy
DuckDuckGo = mainly Yahoo search results in privacy
You might also want to use the Startpage.com "Anonymous View" option for visiting the website links you find. (When you click on a regular link at DuckDuckGo or Startpage, you enter the "Wild West" of tracking again. The websites you visit and their marketers can "see" you and track you unless you protect yourself..)
With Anonymous View, you stay hidden. The website and its marketers only see Startpage.
I suggest using alternative search engines such as StartPage and DuckDuckGo.
They claim to not track users. At the very least, they don't have your email or other connections to your accounts.
You can read for yourself: https://www.startpage.com/en/privacy-policy
Of course, since its not open source, we have no clue what really happens behind the scenes. Plus it was recent sold to System1, which is a US-based ad company, so make of that what you will.

I think posting pictures of the likely suspects:
Michael M. Roberts President and Chief Executive Officer HSBC USA is very informative.
Give Startpage a try? If I'm not mistaken, it uses Google's results, but hides your private data from them. You can even access it from DDG by using a bang:
!sp your search query
I found that really amusing in Australia - where Netflix has a fraction of the library due to licensing and Pandora withdrew from the market.
So people were using VPNs to bypass geoblocking.
Then came the government's decision to keep everyone's metadata from internet usage came to light, and even more were looking into VPNs.
Then came the "Dallas Buyer's Club" fiasco where - again - a VPN was shown to be a good way to protect yourself.
And finally, website blocking. While only done at the DNS level (and easily bypassed by using an alternative VPN server), using a VPN lets you get around that.
Each step of the way, I've had people asking me (as one of the more technically minded in my social group) for help with choosing/setting up/etc a VPN.
Your attitude of "I tried to pay for it but they won't let me" rings true for a lot of people; and if the providers aren't selling it because we're in Australia, how can they claim piracy is a lost sale? Food for thought...
Thing is, sometimes your script does a lot of calling other command line utilities. Use Python for that and you end up with tons of subprocess.run(...)
all over the place. I agree that a proper scripting language should be used for anything complex, but when you're doing a lot of interaction with other programs that don't have a convenient Python wrapper it can become very tedious and hardly easier. For example pass is written in bash, which I don't think is a bad idea.
Do you know how to use a search engine? Do they?
(1) Search StartPage for "How to torrent".
(2) Follow first hit, How to Download Torrents: 5 steps - wikiHow
(3) Follow five listed steps.
Honestly, that's not much of a barrier-to-entry.
May I suggest Startpage?
They use Google Search results (instead of using Yahoo, like DuckDuckGo) but they anonymize all of your data. They also allow you to open websites through their proxy. I think more people should know about these guys, they are really serious about privacy.
Don't use google if you care about your privacy. Use duckduckgo or, if you want more google-like search results, Startpage. Neither one of these two collect data about you or follow you online.
Use this search string:
https://www.startpage.com/do/search?query=%s
Then it works.
The search term not showing up in the URL is actually a privacy feature but you can change that. Go to the settings and uncheck "Use POST vs GET".
> What do we do next?
Read up on this guy.
That's one of those opinions that can land you in hot water here unfortunately. Lots of people here seem to unconditionally have a hard on for Israel. Meanwhile, a Senate bill is in.consideration and was flying under the radar that made it a federal crime to boycott israel with 20 years in prison as the punishment
The Israeli lobby is way out of control and often plays the US as a sucker. That's the most recent example I can think of.
They already have. Meme is a biological term used to describe "an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture." They've been around since the beginning of time, are responsible for all culture, and have literally been weaponized.
I’m imagining being at a restaurant and watching some douche take his watch off, set it next to some oysters and start taking multiple pics of it making this face.

Parler is a honeypot that collects your phone number and is funded by Silicon Valley.
Great. Be sure to check out its Anonymous View feature. This lets you stay anonymous when you visit links you find through Startpage. Helps prevent malware and fingerprinting since Startpage.com fetches the pages for you and obfuscates your user agent info.
I've tried many and IMO Google is still the best functionally so you're making a trade-off (and if you don't need 100% perfect results, or are willing to switch if you need something specific, it isn't a big trade-off).
Ecosia - Disable your ad-blocker and every search you make helps them plant trees around the world. Worth trying it out at least once.
DuckDuckGo - Privacy based search engine that gets rid of all the tracking Google is known for. It's usually the "go-to" privacy search engine, but there are others (like startpage) that are also good.
Bing - Good for porn. Other than that, better off using Google.

Now, before you reply calling me a climate denier or something else convenient to steer a debate consider this. Scientists have been wrong before. Will the world end in 2050? I don't know. What I do know is believing in something because some people say so isn't always credible.
Additional reading:
You should be able to see this article if you go to Startpage.com and search for this:
mark zuckerberg trash "business insider"
Then click on the Anonymous View link that will show to the right of the search result. Anonymous View obfuscates your user info so you cannot be fingerprinted or tracked via your IP address etc.. It's like a VPN, fingerprinting protection, and tracking protection all in one. The website only sees Startpage.com, while you stay hidden.
You can also click on links while you are in Anonymous View, so it also allows you to "surf" anonymously.
Hope this helps!
If you still can't completely live without Google, you might wanna check out Startpage. It uses Google search results, with complete privacy protection. It's a european company that has been obsessive about privacy since 2006.
I'm not here to launch a search engine war, but so far I liked StartPage more than the others. You can customize it in the settings (top-right corner). It fetches Google search's results and gives them to you. This means that you're not giving anything to Google.
Hi u/Little_Man_Sugar. DDG is usually pretty fast because it uses Amazon AWS servers. Maybe it's a temporary glitch.
You might also want to try Startpage.com. Startpage delivers actual Google search results in privacy. No logging or sharing of user personal information. No tracking. Even Edward Snowden has recommended it as a better search option than going to a "regular" search engine.
Startpage.com is usually on par speed-wise with DDG, though SP does NOT use Amazon servers.
It also depends on what servers you choose to use. Startpage offers the option to use non-US servers for better privacy protection. If you're in the US, that could increase the search time.
In sum, both DDG and Startpage.com are better options for privacy. No need to go directly to Google or Yahoo any more:
>* Startpage.com delivers mainly Google search results in privacy
>* DuckDuckGo delivers mainly Yahoo search results in privacy
There are search engines which anonymise and otherwise manipulate Google searches and, quite often, turn up pages the vanilla Google search doesn't:
A very little known feature is the "NCR" flag in Google Search (no country required), which forces a US Google search from outside the USA.
Malik is a Muslim. Don't spread falsehoods.
A quick search yields many results that corroborate my claim.
DDG has agreements with Yandex, Bing, and Yahoo, and other smaller search engines to provide their results. You could think of those as being proxied. However, when you use the !bang syntax you're searching directly on the external site.
If you want a service that proxies Google results then use startpage which is accessible by !sp in DDG.
Startpage is Google with anonymization , as you suggest. But ixquick performs federated search using multiple search engines.
and Startpage also doesn't record your IP or User Agent
Startpage is the sister site of ixquick except the search results are enhanced by google search results. They search google on behalf of you so google only gets their IP and not yours.
In this search I found a pack.of crisps, not exactly called ghosties but it might match your idea, it's safe to say you didn't dream it up
Coulda been one of these.
Somebody further down commented that this could be a Masimo neonatal SpO2 sensor. Could be, I guess. That doesn't make this person's claims less fake though, and most of your points are very clear.

For me, Cube ---> Rectangle seems like an odd choice.
If flaps were added, the game could involve transforming shapes in a more 'logical' way. Like this, perhaps?
This tweak could also open the door for so many unique shapes and challenges. What about a dodecahedron? What could the player use these crazy shapes for?
Hope to see updates, love the idea so far ^ _ ^

Sooooo vaguely vague of a question. Tell me more
Duckduckgo has made a deal with Bing to license their search algorithm according to some conditions. They might be able to make a deal with Google, but Google supposedly have a more difficult set of conditions and DDG have decided they are better off working with Bing. Startpage.com license results from Google.
If it doesnt, search up "Bethesda Pride Month Icon" and click on images. It's basically an image of a game company pandering to gays only where the virtue signalling can turn a profit.
You’re right that the article included didn’t include that info but a couple of the dentists I’ve had over the years have told me the 30 minute figure for sugary or acidic.

So I’m not sure why OP chose this one.
What is racism? is a good question to ask racists, who unilaterally support this president.
Here's one more thing --> Startpage.com Anonymous View
Once you search at Startpage.com, you can then click the Anonymous View link to visit websites anonymously. Startpage hides you by fetching webpages for you and sending fake user info.
You can test this out.
Search for Mr Whoer at Startpage.com, then click the Anonymous View link to visit the site. Check out all the fake user agent info.
A small change that can make a HUGE privacy difference: your search engine choice.
Here are the two most popular privacy alternatives:
Startpage.com = mainly Google search results in privacy. Plus it offers Anonymous View so you can visit sites you find anonymously, too.
DuckDuckGo = mainly Yahoo /Bing search results in privacy. Plus it has a newsfeed.
General info here. I learned from Sharon Salzberg on the 10% Happier app.
It's basically sending "best wishes" to a set of people. You generally start with yourself, then someone you care about, then someone your feel neutral toward, then someone you don't care for.
The "best wishes" are something a long the lines of ...
She suggests using whatever phrases suit you but with the idea that you're simply wishing the best for them with no ulterior motive.
In doing this you're exercising the mental muscles for empathy and compassion.
You still need to use a private search engine. I would also recommend using Startpage.com so you can visit any sensitive sites with Anonymous View.
Anonymous View allows you to remain anonymous when visiting 3rd party sites. Startpage fetches the webpages for you and also obfuscates data about you/your devices to prevent fingerprinting. An optional Anonymous View link comes with every search results at Startpage.com.
Thanks u/Vaxxxor01. Using the POST method is the default, and this does not show the url.
HOWEVER, it is possible to get the url [by switching to GET in the Settings](https://support.startpage.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/747/0/post-versus-get, u/BojanM79
Go to "Settings" at the top right of Startpage.com. Scroll down to the "Privacy and Safety" Settings. You find the option to switch from POST to GET there.
Hope this helps!
(Note that you will not be able to get the url if using Anonymous View, though. That would be contrary to its privacy goals.)
Not really. Startpage.com actually has a contract to obtain Google search results in privacy. Startpage also adds in results from other sources for things like Instant Answers.
Startpage.com does offer Anonymous View, which is a very advanced proxy option for visiting the results you find anonymously. You can even surf with Anonymous View. Here's more info on that.
How can anyone talk about Bitcoin and Bilderberg and not even mention Larry Summers, special advisor to the DCG board and the initiator of 'the war on cash'?
I agree with OP. I gave my input on this on another issue a few days ago:
>This is incredibly frustrating when looking up results for queries involving Angular. Trying to exclude AngularJS entries simply doesn't work.
>
>I believe this worked in the past: angular -angularjs
. Running it now gives me the AngularJS' webpage as the first result.
>
>See: DuckDuckGo results vs. StartPage results for the query: angular -angularjs
However, as u/Genoskill indicates, it seems to work for some queries. Is there any upstream bug report tracking this issue? Any official input on this?
StartPage is trouwens een zoekmachine die al haar resultaten van Google ophaalt maar wel je privacy waarborgt. In de Instellingen kun je een en ander wijzigen.

There is no advantage to doing this when you are already using https for Google search.
If you are concerned about Privacy, you would not be using Google search and instead would opt for something like https://www.duckduckgo or https://www.startpage.com.
> Now google reads every email, and control FF 100% if they just banned FF from using Google search it would die in months. FF only is around at this point so Google can point to a company competing with them. Which is good enough for me.
There are plenty of alternative search engines out there that work just as well—including StartPage, which gives you results directly from Google Search without tracking you.
Further, I doubt that "blocking" Firefox from Google Search would end positively for Google, as the backlash from not only Firefox users, but Mozilla themselves and web standards organizations and advocates would be pretty big. Google is smart enough to know that.
Good points, larivact. Also, important to note that bangs DO NOT confer any privacy protection by DuckDuckGo. When you !g to Google, it's like going directly to Google, for example.
If you want Google search results in privacy, you could use the !S bang into StartPage.com or just start there for real privacy. StartPage.com delivers actual Google search results in privacy. Google never sees you and StartPage doesn't log any personal information.
StartPage is on the PrivacyToolsIO list, which says a lot. Edward Snowden has also recommended StartPage no-logging privacy.
This isn't to say DDG isn't a viable option. Just want to point out that many people make a huge mistake in thinking bangs make searches private.
No and no no no.
NWO is bent on eliminating cash and use the excuse to fight crime.
The real motive is full control of the worlds citizens. NWO controls the banks and interest rates.
You ever hear of negative rates, well its where you are taxed just by having your money in banks.
Remember when they wouldn't let Greek citizens withdraw any money from their own accounts ,then only let them have a few bucks a week.
GO RESEARCH NWO WANTS TO BAN CASH.
Once cash is banned they have full control. Many of these so called economists are socialists fcks.

In fairness to the baby boomer generation, the subversion and rot was already here in America long before the boomers spread the virus and selfish entitlement everywhere. The marxists/communists have always dominated media and large parts of education and academia, plus the State Dept. has largely been a communist haven since its inception.
We're witnessing the 'fruits' of Antonio Gramsci's 'long march through the institutions' - including the federal government - and the collective pushback against cultural marxism all at the same time.
