You should file a police report first, and also report to the Ohio AG.
Many of these scammers are outside the country, or use financial methods that make it hard to track them or claw the money back.
>you can't deny someone rent based on family status,
You can if you're Mrs. Murphy.
Renting out a room in the home you own and occupy is a lot more like choosing your friends, rather than choosing your customers.
The distinction is that advertising with discriminatory language is still a violation of the FHA, while actually discriminating in your choices is not. Craigslist is very clear on this.
The only exception to the advertising prohibition is for shared bathrooms, kitches, or common areas, and that's only a sex-based advertising prohibition.
You can discriminate on family status all you want in private because it's a shared housing situation.
Posting what you feel like posting is an invitation to a civil rights lawsuit. Don't do it.
Agreed.

> Limit your contact with transaction partners. Amazon.com encourages buyers and sellers to communicate with one another by e-mail during an Amazon Marketplace transaction. Contact between parties must be courteous and limited to transaction details. Facilitating inappropriate or unsolicited contact is a violation of our Community Rules.
Key part there being "Contact between parties must be courteous and limited to transaction details"
> Do not misuse ratings, feedback or product reviews. >Any attempt to manipulate ratings, feedback, or product reviews is prohibited.
Key part being all of it.
> Product reviews: Product reviews are important to the Amazon Marketplace, providing a forum for feedback about product details and reviewers' experiences with products--positive or negative. You may not write reviews for products that you have a financial interest in, including reviews for products that you or your competitors sell. Additionally, you may not provide compensation for a review other than a free copy of the product. If you offer a free product, it must be clear that you are soliciting an unbiased review. The free product must be provided in advance; no refunds are permitted after the review is written. Product review solicitations that ask for only positive reviews or that offer compensation are prohibited. You may not ask buyers to remove negative reviews.
Key part being "You may not ask buyers to remove negative reviews."
I think that includes threatening to sue buyers to remove reviews.
"No kids" in the ad will get it flagged for removal, and is arguably illegal. You can discriminate, you just can't necessarily advertise discriminatorily.
You can read the whole opinion here if you're curious.
No, you don't need to go that far. Submit a complaint at https://www.cloudflare.com/abuse/form -- and since they have communicated with you via email asking for detailed personal information, I would begin by filing the complaint as phishing.
takes of miner's cap
I'm back from the deep web, I would like to know what search engine is hitting your site for the keyword "olive garden" because I've gone through 16 pages at Google, 23 pages on bing/yahoo and you don't even hit. You are legally covered by fair use, your website doesn't seem to contain anything I would consider blatantly lying or misleading. Top 5 hits to your website are not "Olive Garden", first is "all of garden" and the next two are misspellings, the fourth puts the word The in front of it and the fifth is something spaghetti. You show up in some links on various big name news sites from 2014/2015.
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/allofgarden.com
You have three option
Option 1: Ignore this and keep destroying your body with these pasta bowls and wait and see if you're sued. Will Darden win before your rapidly advancing heart disease does? Doubtful, but they are a big corporation with lawyers on retainer. At this point you either shut down or find a law group like the EFF to defend you.
Option 2: Respond to this letter, letting them know your website is covered under fair use and you have no intention of stopping your reviews.
Option 3: Shut down the site.
Personally I would go with option 2, respond to them. Chances are this is just some computer bot that some over payed SEO consultants are charging Darden for that found your website. Any sane lawyer would clearly see this as fair use, but then again corporate lawyers do not always take a sane approach and litigate for their clients because reasons.
Again - your opinion here is wrong.
> New ideas often come from the people who aren't experts in anything, its only that the truly succesful ones usually end up coming from the same ones because funding and connections and all that good stuff.
New ideas come from people who see a problem, understand the actual problems, can implement an MVP, reiterate on that MVP and create a valuable product.
Example:
Uber.
Problem: Very little pay for transportation that exists outside of Public Transport or Cabs.
Research: Start doing focus groups/user interviews/other lean methods to come up with potential solutions. (Note - You have no ideas of the solution yet. Just validating the problem actually exists and gathering information).
Solution: Take research, come up with potential use cases.
I'm going to recommend a very specific book for you to read. Validating Product Ideas. If you actually think your ideas are worth any salt, start investigating Lean User Research, MVPs, Agile Development and UX Sampling. These will allow you to refine your skills, come up with an actual valuable product and being able to measure success.
I've no idea what your yard is set up like, but you could get a wireless motion-activated camera that stores the footage on your computer or cloud storage device. Here's one I found on Amazon. Keep in mind people who are willing to break into locked gates may also be the kind of people to smash a security camera.
Fake cameras could also deter trespassers.
This is an IR lamp for $12 on amazon. If you shine this into the camera, it won't affect you but will most likely kill any exposure on it, even from across the room.
He would have absolutely no recourse; you haven't touched his camera, you are presumably allowed to have possessions in the common areas, specifically a lamp.
In the meantime, I would check on any local laws that may make this illegal. If he's not living there, I can't imagine that it is. Also, see if you can figure out of it's recording audio... leave some music on and see if he calls about it. That would be REALLY illegal, even in Texas.
A first step is here, where you file a change of address form for someone else but write in "Moved, No Forwarding Address" in leiu of a forwarding address.
Second, find out who the postmaster of your area is. The station manager (person in charge of a given post office branch) will know who this is and should provide you with contact information. Call them. Tell them what's happening. Station manager will be chewed out for, you know, not doing their job.
Subtle things that indicate a higher status in the herd. Shiny hats, bedazzled hooves, tribal tattoos, even a snazzy pair of sunglasses.
It also really helps when the donkey knows he is in charge himself. It's a little known fact that donkeys can read nearly as quick as humans, so if you put copies of The Prince, The Art of War, and How To Make Friends And Influence People around their feeding troughs, they'll pick up on it.
The email doesn't work either, gives me
"Unfortunately, this automated email notification is unable to receive replies. We’re happy to help you with any questions or concerns. Please contact us here: https://www.airbnb.com/help/contact_us"
actually, fuck that. i just went back and read through ALL their policies, just in case, and they clearly have one against impersonation.
Confusion or Impersonation. Don't do things that would cause confusion between you or your blog and a person or company, like registering a deliberately confusing URL. Don't impersonate anyone. While you're free to ridicule, parody, or marvel at the alien beauty of Benedict Cumberbatch, you can't pretend to actually be Benedict Cumberbatch.

of note, they likewise have one against graphic sexual content.
keep fighting this. this blog violates at least three of their community guidelines.
> some dash cams can record even with the car off
I've got one for like $100 off Amazon that has this security feature. Quite handy for everyone imho.
Edit: link
Set up motion detecting sprinklers. Something like this
(Most) cats hate water. He/She will quickly be trained to avoid going in your yard, and it will be much cheaper than any lawyer situation will ever be.
I've been burned by a phone convo before. Now I use this app so I know verbal agreements are documented. Automatically records, and can back up to the cloud.
Edit: I know the laws are a bit ambiguous depending on location, but I will balance the legality of a recording if it ever gets to that point. I'd rather have a recording and not need it, than need it and not have it.
I use multiple YI Dashcams hardwired using this: https://www.amazon.com/MicroUSB-MiniUSB-Hardwire-Adapters-Protection/dp/B072J3L2JN/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1535916653&sr=8-3&keywords=dash+cam+hardwire+kit

Also, for the memory cards, make sure you get the "high endurance" kind. I use 2x128gb SD Cards... records for about 3 days.

I also have a cheap UBB distro that has switches coming from the "hardwire kit" that lets me turn off cams in case I'm in a safe spot or I'm backed against a wall, etc.
It'd be a "cease and desist" letter, hopefully.
You may be able to go after their hosting company and report copyright infringement. It is unlikely that they are actually hosting the site out of Bangladesh. This site may be able to determine who hosts them. (If it says Cloudflare, don't worry, Cloudflare accepts abuse reports here - have them forward to both the host and the owner.) Usually the hosting company will have some form of copyright abuse form - in the US, this is also called a DMCA complaint or takedown notice.
You may also be able to report them to PayPal or whatever payment processor they use, although this is a little more difficult.
Here's the listing.
I went back in my email to find it, and they sent me a copy of their policies which confirmed they should ban the listing, but obviously they didn't.
It's on their webpage:
> Guests who refuse to leave—and how Airbnb can help
> These situations are incredibly rare, but if they happen, we'll work with you to try and help resolve the problem with your guest. Should you face such a situation, let our 24/7 support team know as soon as possible and we'll get in touch with you.
Google-fu friend. :)
On this note, Nexar is an app that can turn smartphones into dash cams. The app is free (last I checked) and the (https://www.amazon.com/Car-Phone-Mount-Recommended-Dash-cam/dp/B01G3O2VRQ)[dash mount] they branded is $7 on amazon right now. It's not perfect, but if it can save you $200-$300 it's worth it.
Oh man, if someone is trying to scam you they unintentionally opened themselves up for a world of discomfort. Here's what you do. You're in San Diego, right? The Secret Service are the ones who do investigations into counterfeiting. Call the Secret Service field office for San Diego (you can get the number here) and let them know that you passed a bill to a merchant who claimed the bill was counterfeit and confiscated it, explaining the situation. Let the agent know that you plan on filing an insurance claim when you return from your trip (losses from counterfeit money are standard coverage on most homeowners' or renter's policies) for the loss and that you'd like some kind of reference number or agent you can speak with in order to validate the insurance claim on your end. Alert the bank as well and give them the contact information you were provided by the Secret Service.
If it's bogus and the merchant turned the alleged counterfeit note over to the police, then they're doing what they should and an insurance claim should cover you for such a small amount- and you'll have gotten a free drink and a good story out of it, as well.
If, however, the merchant did not pass the counterfeit note onto the police, there could be uncomfortable questions posed by federal agents when they investigate, and they claim to investigate all counterfeit cases, no matter how big or small. They're going to want that alleged counterfeit bill and if the merchant can't produce it, then they will have fallen under suspicion of having knowingly passed it, a very serious crime.
You might want to pick up one of these or these for your mom. It might take some tweaking to get it set up right so that it doesn't soak innocent passers-by, but they're adjustable and you should be able to get them to only detect and spray things on the lawn.
Yes, your mom is guilty of a minor infraction, as is her neighbor. I would be more concerned about retaliation than about the police doing anything about it.
I know that there are laws relating to minors incomes that deal with child actors. This may or may not be useful to you. https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Child_Actor%27s_Bill
Try calling a lawyer and calling steam to block the account. I don't know if you can speak to a lawyer without a guardian, but this law says you might be able to petition the court? I think you may be able to call yourself a designer and this certainly falls under entertainment business you need a lawyer in your area to deal with this and walk you through it.
"The Netflix service, and any content viewed through our service, are for your personal and non-commercial use only. During your Netflix membership, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, license to access the Netflix service and view movies and TV shows through the service on a streaming-only basis for that purpose. Except for the foregoing limited license, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you. You agree not to use the service for public performances."

I believe someone suggested this last time, but get a security door bar that you can use to keep the door from opening while you're at home. Quick, cheap, and you're not damaging or changing the property without the landlord's permission- it won't prevent unauthorized showings while you're out but it'll at least keep them from walking in on you while you're in bed again.
This. There's no reason to wait. You can find all sorts of dashcams for sale on sites like Amazon for well under $100.

Parking Violation Stickers for Cars (Fluorescent Green) - 50 Illegal Warning Reserved or Private Parking
Hard to Remove and Super Sticky Tow Warnings 8” x 5” https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079VXC12H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_tEueCbW2GZ34C
Stick two different colours on at the same time, put them in annoying places that require removal before legal/safe driving. This is legal because you own the spot and he has been warned.
Take a picture of the sticker every time you place it, this will build a record of habit for if this goes to court.
Call the tow company
"There is a car with multiple tow sticker warnings on it, once again parked in my spot. This man has been warned in person and I'm not sure how long the car has been parked here this time however I have proof I am the owner of the parking spot."
This is double effective if you have the owner of the tow contract agree to start using tow warning stickers.
This is what I have done to stop 3 seperate occasions of parking theif's, it's simple and they can't blame you unless they're insane.
> When we told him that I use the futon as a couch or for entertaining guests, he told us that we have to text him in a clock in clock out fashion whenever guests enter the premises regardless of whether they spend the night.
Unless that requirement is listed in the lease I would tell him you're not going to do that.
> 1) What can I do regarding his random entrances? He’s already just walked into my apartment no knocking or announcement and I don’t doubt he will do it again.
Put a security stick on the door when you're home... that will prevent unwanted entry. Landlord cannot just randomly enter - as mentioned by /u/poolparty90019 it has to be with notice and for a specific purpose.
Another option is using something like this.

Also, check with local airports for flightplans where the pilot passes over your house. It's worth a shot
You can buy a boot pretty cheap. I don't know what the legaity is for charging them to take it off, but it might pay for itself. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019RLTPYY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_1dZkBbC2ZVAJS
I don't know if you Dutchies have Amazon, but in the future, use a drain snake when you notice the douche cabin isn't draining as well. There is absolute no need to use sink unclogger on hair and conditioner. Using the snake will keep the clog from getting really bad.
Piggy backing on this - it is completely possible to do this yourself. I work in SEO, very lightly with reputation management, but enough.
6 advanced tactics for Reputation Management SEO
E: The idea is you create content and do better optimizing it for your name, and that "pushes" their search results back.
Practical Advice -- Change your passwords. If you're like most people and are re-using names/passwords, you're vulnerable if just one of them fails.
Use a program like Keepass (https://keepass.info/). It can randomly generate passwords for you, and you then only have to remember the one password that unlocks your database.
Once you are an adult he has no legal obligation to provide you with coverage. That he can do it until 26 under the ACA doesn't mean he must. The good news is that you can probably get reasonably priced insurance to cover you through the ACA insurance exchanges. Having been dropped from insurance you would have been eligible to get coverage regardless of open enrollment, but making it even easier is the fact that it now is open enrollment.
Take a look and see what coverage you can get to ensure you are able to get the treatment you need.
As another poster noted, try the personal finance sub about getting your other finances in order to help with this new obstacle.
Did any of the physicians share why they were dropping the plan? That's very strange and terrible for their patients.
There are a list of qualifying events that allow you to switch plans. Can you make any of them happen? Such as: new job, moving zip codes or counties...
Piggy-backing on this.
For android, this one is free. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.zxing.client.android
There's free ones from Apple too but I don't know what they are.
IANAL, but I work in digital forensics: Make sure Bluetooth is turned off; that is a huge entryway into your phone. Disabling automatic Wi-Fi connections will help.
Change the password on your home wi-fi network. Make sure your wi-fi has encryption (e.g. WPA2).
Consider getting an alarm system for your home; Amazon has some cheap ones you can install.. Maybe consider getting a camera, or at least a fake camera.
Check your home computer for any devices you don't recognize. A keylogger can look like anything that plugs into a USB port. It can also look like a USB adapter.
Backup any critical data to a cloud account, particularly anything that you're using to document your stalker. Save screenshots of his texts to you there.
Have you contacted Airbnb? They say that effective 1/15/15 their Host Protection Insurance will provide primary liability coverage even if you don't have your own renters/homeowners policy.
You agreed to be searched when you applied for a membership:
> Costco reserves the right to inspect any container, backpack, briefcase, etc., upon entering or leaving the warehouse.
If you don't like it, shop somewhere that's willing to do business with you without a membership agreement. If you refuse to be searched, they can't detain you on the property, but they can revoke your membership and refuse to let you return, and they can report suspected shoplifting to the police.
Your proposed junk-touching contract might get you done for solicitation (a crime), ~~and might be voided if challenged in court on the grounds that such a contract is contrary to the public interest. Searching your bags when you leave a store is not contrary to the public interest. Separately, what are you offering as consideration for your junk-touching club contract?~~ Edit: Total garbage. Try u/ExpiresAfterUse's post, instead.
Do what others are saying. In the mean time get and install a security flip lock to show CPS that you have taken measures to secure the apartment. For CPS make sure your pantry is full of food, it’s one of the things they look at.
Someone else said get an alarm. I used this magnetic alarm for my doors and windows.
You could abide CL's advice about how not to get scammed: https://www.craigslist.org/about/scams > Deal locally, face-to-face —follow this one rule and avoid 99% of scam attempts.
Who just buys a used couch site/sight(???? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use this term in a way that doesn't refer to real estate) unseen? What if it smelled like cats and human suffering? What type of used non-locally acquired couch is worth nearly $2000? Is it made of dragon skin and unicorn feathers?
Have you contacted her asking to do a return (which she may not be legally obligated to do.)?
/u/texasgunowner12 beat me to it, but according to Microsoft's "Reimaging rights" brief (located here), "[Y]ou may use an OEM recovery image on devices shipped by that OEM if the device is appropriately licensed." The web page you cite is specifically discussing the use of a volume license media and key to reimage computers that were originally shipped with OEM keys.
As long as OP is using the proper key for the computers, he is fine. In fact, Windows 7 ISO images are available from the Microsoft website for download.
Edit: Also from that PDF:
>Commercial Licensing Windows Desktop operating system media may be used to reimage devices if all devices being reimaged are licensed for the edition and version of Windows being reimaged onto them. (Note: Each device being reimaged does not need to be licensed under Commercial Licensing if they are properly licensed for the edition and version being reimaged onto them.)
Start off cheap and easy.
For me, a few high-visibility driveway markers was all it took. My problem was people making wide turns and driving on my lawn.
If that doesn’t work, go with the rocks, providing your HOA allows.
Where are you getting one fruit? He says "It bore some amazingly tasty fruits."
Sapote can provide up to 100kg (about 220lbs) of fruit annually.
Now, was OP eating 220 lbs of fruit? Probably not. But he is entitled to the value of the fruit that he will no longer get to enjoy.
If the neighbor burned down his personal garden, he'd be entitled to replacement value for the lost crops' produce. "Retail value" here means the price he will have to pay to replace the fruit, buying it at a store.
Mamey, fruit of the Sapote tree, are fairly expensive fruits. Let's say he ate two fruits a week. It takes seven years for a sapote tree to reach fruiting maturity. Do the math on a lost seven years of fruit.
I'm not sure why you're so angry about the fruit, but OP is entitled to be made whole. It doesn't need to be a big-money item to require restitution.
If you can't give quality input, don't post here.
I remember reading this article about someone renting out their place on Airbnb whose guests wouldn't leave and it became a nightmare for them. I also found this from Airbnb, which you might find helpful. The key seems to be to not let them stay longer than 29 days, but it depends on the law where the house is located.
I googled the exact groupon:
https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-trend-matters-telescopic-fiberglass-fishing-rod
That in no way matches what OP was sent. It is significantly smaller both closed and open.
OP could try contacting the seller directly. This could be a mistake sending out the wrong item rather than blantent fraud in which case they should be willing to send out the proper one.
Personally in addition to calling and chat I would complain to them via social media (their facebook page, @groupon etc in twitter). If you can get beyond the generic phone rep things may get resolved much faster.
If Google's street view doesn't show you a decent image (or even if it does and you want to look for even more) then check out this list of Google Street View alternatives.
Not legal advice, but whatever you are googling, try using those search terms with DuckDuckGo or StartPage if you aren't already. Google may be personalizing your results based on your cookies, location, ip-address, or browser fingerprint, and what is displayed to you may not be what a potential employer would see.
If you are illegally downloading anything, it's time to stop.
Also, just on general principles, you should look into protecting your privacy with a real VPN (one that you pay for) like Private Internet Access.
The only thing better than owning a home with no HOA is owning one with no HOA in an area where everybody else does have one. You can have all kinds of fun with them.
OP might be full of it, but I've used airbnb and the general scam doesn't sound that implausible.
Proof of ownership is easy to forge. Anyone can record a deed and they are trivial to create. Same with a lease.
Also, from Airbnb's website: > Your payment information is collected when you submit a reservation request. Once the host accepts your request, or if you book a reservation with Instant Book, your payment method will be charged for the entire amount at that time. > > Whether the reservation is two days or two months away, we hold the payment until 24 hours after check-in before giving it to the host. This hold gives both parties time to make sure that everything is as expected.
So while the host may not have it, the guest has already paid. The scammer may have also contacted the person outside airbnb and demanded additional or direct payment.
It does seem unlikely that they would let this go on for long after people complained though.
Looks like you used a weak password or reused one that was in a breach. Check out have https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see if you've been in a breach. Get a password manager and use unique passwords for every account and turn on 2FA for your email account.
Other than that there is not much else you can do.
That's a weird thing to ask someone, tumblr IS a reputable site, and there's nothing about "these kinds of images" in Tumblr's ToS or Community Guidelines.
> that I did not have a legal obligation to write Return To Sender on everything.
Yes, you don't. But you can and probably should.
Further, read this, and do it for all the previous residents. It should stop the first class mail (not junk mail, sadly) from coming to the letter carrier's case (where they put together their route's mail) in the first place.
You can report violations to Tumblr directly by e-mailing:

Alternatively, you can attempt a DMCA takedown by completing the information on this page.
Quick and easy way is to just remove the outlet and replace it with one of these
You can also talk to the landlord about why an outlet in a common area is running on your tab.
OP, don't show to her that anything changed about your attitude. Don't get too confident or too smarmy, this will signal you are up to something. Record EVERYTHING using your phone. Don't use the default video app, if she catches you she could go ballistic and do god knows what. Use a background recorder and put it in your front shirt pocket so you can clearly see her face. If she notices and grabs the phone, it won't show that anything is being recorded. Here's a good app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kimcy929.secretvideorecorder&hl=en
Check your state's two party consent laws if you're allowed to record. If not, try to stir her attacks to texts or email if possible (great admissible document in court) and make sure to reference past fights where she got violent, citing your fear she might do something dangerous.
good luck.
> A dog bite is a big deal, and shouldn’t happen because someone gets out of a car on a traffic stop.
It's been in the news recently that K-9 officers don't always follow proper procedure.
Wow. I felt stupid for doing that to purchase a coffee maker (that later turned out to be broken). He paid 4k for a car with no title? How old was he? It sounds like something a kid would do, but I can't imagine a kid having that much money in cash. Your son might want to check out the craigslist scam information before he does any more business on craigslist.
Eh, this borderline gets into giving you advice on how to break the law (even if it is an odd one).
My best advice is to just get it to PA as best you can.
Or try to get a gun license
To Kill a Mockingbird. It has heavy themes, but if your daughter is a strong reader and mature, she will love it. Also, mystery novels are great for kids who have a been on liking law- no, lawyers don't solve mysteries but we do unravel problems and get to the bottom of issues a lot of the time. If she likes non-fiction, this book on Amazon looks popular: https://www.amazon.com/Teens-Trial-Challenged-Law-Changed/dp/1575420813
Really, tell her if she wants to be a lawyer, she needs to read anything and everything she can, whether it is about law or not. As a lawyer I do a LOT of reading and the faster and more accurate you are in your reading and reading comprehension, the better. The only way to get better at reading is to read.
I was going to say the same thing my cousin had some latches on her door because people in our family have been known to sleepwalk outside. She had to remove them when she started fostering because they were considered a fire hazard.
Another relative started using these https://www.amazon.com/Doberman-Security-Portable-Alarm-alarms/dp/B0061YFFI6/ref=sr_1_4?crid=22NX7OR6QX6E5&keywords=hotel+door+alarm&qid=1564175233&s=gateway&sprefix=hotel+door+%2Csporting%2C180&sr=8-4 after her toddler was found by the neighbor asleep in the front yard swing. He thought the little girl had left her baby doll in the swing. He decided to move it to the porch and found it was the little girl. They don't know if she was sleepwalking or wandering, but they started closing the hallway door to the common rooms and putting this in place before the parents went to bed. She could get up go get her parents, even go to the bathroom (they were potty training), but couldn't get access to the front or back doors.
I'd call the local police non-emergency number & let them know. Notify all your neighbors, be sure to talk to any who are home during the day & ask them to keep an eye out. Some may not be aware of this trick & their houses were scoped out too. Leave your tv on during the day, loud enough that it can be heard by someone at your door. Light timers are a great idea, get several. I also use this in an unused room at night, whether I'm home or not, using a timer.
And a friend gave me his old large work boots that I leave by the back door.
After my house was broken into, some sahm neighbors started parking their cars in others' driveways so it looked like every house had someone home. They also were really nice about taking up others' trashcans right after trash pickup or grabbing packages left on porches.
Get a few of these! Hmm, might be worth stocking up on other common postpartum comfort items--a lot of folks recommend sitting on menstrual pads that have been soaked in witch hazel and/or stuck in the freezer, for example.
I actually couldn't find the full text version of the linked paper publicly available and sci-hub is down. I could only find the second part of their paper about minerals. So I hope you'll excuse the slight red herring. I was going purely off the abstract.
>in the obese group, 27% had inadequate magnesium intake
>Abnormally low levels and deficiency of selenium were found in up to 58% of morbidly obese patients
> In morbidly obese adults (...) deficiency and abnormal levels of iron were found in 14 and 16% respectively
> In morbidly obese patients (...) abnormal zinc levels and deficiency, were found in 30 and 28%, respectively
I think this supports the original claim of "at some level malnourished."
(edit to include link)
This is directly from the airbnb website:
> 9.3 If a Host cancels a confirmed booking, the Guest will receive a full refund of the Total Fees for such booking and Airbnb may publish an automated review on the Listing cancelled by the Host indicating that a booking was cancelled. In addition, Airbnb may (i) keep the calendar for the Listing unavailable or blocked for the dates of the cancelled booking, and/or (ii) impose a cancellation fee, unless the Host has a valid reason for cancelling the booking pursuant to Airbnb’s Extenuating Circumstances Policy or has legitimate concerns about the Guest’s behavior.
Then when you go to read about what they consider "extenuating circumstances" it says this as the first reason:
> Unexpected death or serious illness of a host, guest or immediate family member (spouse/partner, child, parent, legal guardian, grandparent, or sibling)
As to what that means for you, I'm not 1000% sure.
Here's the bottom line: there are a multitude of factors that will determine who gets to use the name and what markets they can use it in. If you can prove that you registered your business first, you both operate in the same market, and perform similar tasks, they will likely need to change their name. However, if they trademark the name before you do, you would only be able to run your business in the locations that it was already in business at the time they trademark their name. They could expand to other markets with the name and you would be forced to remain in the markets you were already in at the time they trademark their name.

They're post-military young Israelis who get lured into moving abroad on a tourist visa and working illegally. As you can imagine, the pay and living conditions are terrible. The entire business model is exploitative for both the employees and customers. Thankfully it seems to have grabbed the attention of the Israeli and US governments, as revealed in diplomatic cables from wikileaks.
So, it's too late now, but a quick search of rover.com and pet death makes it clear that getting anything beyond a refund from them is going to be very difficult. Here is just one of the review sites. I'm sorry for your loss.
That's not true actually, only with a parent's permission can a child be married off at 15, and that's only in Missouri and Georgia. Ohio and Rhode Island have the next lowest age for parental consented marriage set at 16, and the other states are higher. Without parental consent a person would need to be at least 18 years of age, in all but Nebraska and Mississippi where it's 19+.

I had a ton of mail from my previous occupant of our home, so much that hand writing would have been too much. I found a stamp that has made this process MUCH easier for us.
The cost in time and energy and fees (and humiliation when the small claims judge admonishes you for suing your mom) is probably less than the price of the cheapest all-in-one at Best Buy which will delight your mom for the holidays.
Or yeah, small claims court.
how about an outdoor floor fan for the neighbors pointing up, to blow the smoke away from your ac? something like this is what i use to keep the smoke away from the smoke alarm when i sear meat in the kitchen...https://www.amazon.com/B-Air-Firtana-20X-Multipurpose-High-Velocity/dp/B01M0X1SOY/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1533285757&sr=8-15&keywords=fan
Try opening the files using this: http://sqlitebrowser.org/. Chances are he used a database library and Sqlite is one of the most used.
Edit: If that doesn't work if you post the first couple lines of one or a couple of lines I may be able to give you a clue.
Don't install "anti-spyware apps." These are junk.
What VPN are you using? Not all are equal: Hotspot Shield accused of snooping on VPN users and selling data to advertisers
OP, get a travel lock like this immediately. I have this and you just slide it into the door plate each time, fast & easy. Then call the police and see what they'd suggest, and whatever tenants association in in Quebec.

This is a book about assertiveness training so you can build your shiny spine. Good luck!
The Seller Protection Program clearly states that the item sold must be a physical item to qualify.
In fact, they state in a second location that intangible items are not covered.
You can try and sue, but the terms of use are clear.
It is not legal (anymore) for them to charge you more for the same plan because you are a woman. See: https://www.healthcare.gov/how-plans-set-your-premiums/
But it is legal for them to charge more for family plans... I wonder if that's what's happening here. I'd ask for clarification about that.
There's a HuffPo article here
The jail's defense was that she was wearing shorts that were hidden under her shirt, but she had apparently asked them for pants (and feminine hygiene products, which I forgot about) and they refused to give them to her.
If you want to check, you can order cannabis test kits (that's just the first of a hillion jillion links) for super cheap. You've likely got another day or two before it's out of your system, so if you want to try to confirm, order a kit with next-day delivery and give it a go.
Yes they do. https://www.shutterstock.com/support/article/How-can-I-use-your-content-exclusively When you buy the exclusive rights you can do whatever you want with it, it is yours.
If it were me, I would inquire about the number of purchases previously and the cost for exclusive rights. If perchance it has only been licensed a handful of times it might be a wise buy.
> A service animal is not required to be vested
Not to mention that a service vest is something that costs all of $25 on Amazon and doesn't really mean much.
The best advice I can offer is get some Fence Weave or Chain Link Fence Slats. When we bought our house it came with them and they are the best thing since sliced bread. My dogs don't bark as much now (because everything that passes by is barkable, I guess) and I get plenty of privacy from nosey eyes. We have white, but this is basicly it. Can be picked up at any hardware store.

Tbh, no. Now yes. > Below $11,880 ---- Since your state hasn't expanded Medicaid, you probably won't qualify for Medicaid based on your income alone. You also won't qualify for savings on a Marketplace insurance plan.
Edit for clarity: I didn't think to look up that option until you suggested. Thank you for the advice. Above is text from the website I don't qualify. I'm not: senior, minor, pregnant, woman, or a foster kid.
Exactly. While a jammed up machine is rather easy to recover a partial envelope from.
You should use a photo/document mailer for a passport, with tracking. Both are basically cheap insurance that will now cost you a bunch to replace.
On the upside, the post office will probably follow the advice under "I found someone's lost passport. What should I do with it?" from the State Department's website, here (no anchors? WTF State?).
What makes you think mold in a shower cap gives you grounds to demand a discount on rent?
You need to pay the rent. In full. Stick a Sani Stick down the drain if the smell is bugging you.
Practically speaking, can you just replace the AC with a standing unit? The vent would still connect to the window but wouldn't be visible from outside.
Not legal advice but if you have an old android phone you can turn that into an IP cam see this link
Good points. Now I'm wondering about the coughing part. This article lists coughing as one of the indications: https://www.mayoclinic.org/first-aid/first-aid-choking/basics/art-20056637
This article says: "First ask, "Are you choking? Can you speak?" DO NOT perform first aid if the person is coughing forcefully and is able to speak. A strong cough can often dislodge the object." https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/000047.htm
You (should) be able to use Messenger without having an account- check this article out for details. I think you should also be able to actively block profiles, but I don't know if that extends to pictures you're tagged in by other people, so I'd say your best bet would be to deactivate FB altogether, at least until the dust settles a bit.
Read 18 U.S.C. § 1466A
The PROTECT Act criminalizes material that has "a visual depiction of any kind, including a drawing, cartoon, sculpture or painting", that "depicts a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct and is "obscene" or "depicts an image that is, or appears to be, of a minor engaging in ... sexual intercourse".
Mere possession of said images is not a violation of the law unless it can be proven that they were transmitted through a common carrier, such as the mail or the internet, or transported across state lines. There is also an affirmative defense made for possession of no more than two images with "reasonable steps to destroy" the images or reporting and turning over the images to law enforcement.
Legal protections:
But they don't have kids, so she will almost certainly notice them and realize what he's up too. Better to use a background recorder and put it in your front shirt pocket. If she notices and grabs the phone, it won't show that anything is being recorded. Here's a good app:

Actually, the article YOU linked said EXACTLY what I quoted. It did not state that substance abuse has a "much higher" mortality rate. I know this, because I actually took the time to read the article.
I'm guessing that's why you deleted the comment with the article link? Since it actually proved you wrong?
But for further proof that you are absolutely incorrect in your assertion, here is a link from a reliable source:
It still depends on the original license though. Let's assume a) the freepd.com site is correct with CC1.0 and b) you originally released under CC1.0. Following https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/1.0/ both freepd.com and the new offender is in the wrong. If you can come up with proof you are the original creator (email, that predates the compilation album release, with the song as an attachment, e.g.) then you can file a DMCA takedown notice to enforce your copyright and properly defend against their counter claim. You could also sue the seller for your proportion of the compilation, or send them a cease and desist.
(sorry, edited because I accidentally posted w/my regular account)
Yes, I did threaten with this. However as you'll see on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/valuebasket.com (where I've just left a review), they have thousands (almost 5k). I think they have so much business globally that it doesn't really matter.
I am slowly forgetting my 157 euros, however I'm still in disbelief that a company this big can completely get away with this for so long. They literally just stole my money. In the link above you'll see review after review, each one star and going through the same. Crazy.
Oh, also, they do not advertise whatsoever as China-based. In fact, as I purchased from the .nl site, they actually have Dutch customer service responses and Dutch names in their signatures.
Maybe not legal advice, but here's an option.
You would be surprised at how easy it is to re-key a regular lock. Stop by your local hardware shop and go to the contractor's desk. Ask if they can re-key a lock and how much would it cost. I worked at a hardware store while I was in college and while it wasn't a service we publically offered, it was generally something that we could do. It wouldn't hurt to ask and it's quite cheap.
Alternatively, you can buy a cheap rekey kit for $20 bucks. There are a number of 5-15 mintue videos out there and with a steady hand, you could rekey the lock in 30 minutes.
