No. It's just cheaper. That's literally the only advantage of using PIA, besides supporting the company. I understand Reddit loves PIA but most people have no idea what they're talking about.
NordVPN comes with better security (double hop VPN servers), better ad block (PIA MACE a very limited ad blocker, no customization and it's less efficient than CyberSec from NordVPN), better support (NordVPN has live chat support, 30 day money back quarantee, PIA has notoriously bad support
Edit: PIA Is not a bad VPN by any means but this bandwagoning is getting ridiculious. Downvotes just prove my point.
VPN's themselves are fine. Using FREE VPN's is not fine. Nothing is free.
There are plenty of reputable and quite good VPN services out there. I use NordVPN myself and have zero issues whatsoever. Speed is great, my tracks are covered, and I can access region restricted content. It's affordable, safe, and indispensable.
Anymore, you're foolish for not using a VPN. Just make sure that you use a legimate one. Any kind of "Free" VPN is stealing your data, has shit speeds, or worse.
If you want an exhaustive list of VPNs and how they compare to each other, I would highly recommend checking out , specifically the VPN Comparison Chart. There is a more detailed and advanced version of the chart but the simple one will suffice for non-advanced users.
NordVPN user here. It's pretty solid. I use their desktop app but I use OpenVPN app on Android with their ovpn config files. (No particular reason, android app wasn't ready back when I set it up) I'm happy with the performance at both ends. Some servers perform better than others but there is an incredible amount of selection when it comes to servers. I'm really happy with it.
Honestly you won’t get a great VPN that provides lifetime subscription and everything you are hoping for. I personally use NordVPN and it has treated me well, decent speeds, plenty of servers, no logs etc. and not terribly expensive. Main thing about Nord is it resides in Panama, accepts Bitcoin, and does not require any personal info. Obviously there are numerous options but the good/great ones will not provide a lifetime subscription.
For some other possible options and privacy in general use the wesbite for info.
Additionally, making sure your VPN has DNS leak protection is important, because if it doesn't there's still a way for your ISP to see what you're doing. NordVPN does have this, but there are some paid ones that do not, so it's important check that out first.
My favorite so far is NordVPN, and their price isn't bad if you go annual. If you're of the *nix persuasion, you'll have to do the usual setup, but they do provide the config to import.
I've had pretty good experiences with NordVPN so far. They have a constantly updated list of servers that work with US-Netflix, it's a little annoying having to pick a specific server every time but it always works.
Hard to say which is the best. If you want quality, go for a paid option. I've tried many services. Currently I'm using NordVPN and I'm happy with it. They offer quality VPN with many options for a fair price. I don't use the android app since it lacks the option to not route local network traffic. But besides that, NordVPN is a reliable choice.
NordVPN. I bought like 3 years at $2.75/month and you can run it on like 5 devices simultaneously or something like that. Based in Venezuela or Panama I think. No logging and no extradition to the US either so your data, even if it were held (it's not) would be safe from the US government
Every time someone asks "what's the best VPN to access Netflix in "Country-X" from "Country-Y", the answer seems to be NordVPN. The same goes for (Netflix on) Android phone, Android TV, Apple TV, iPhone, Smart TV, etc.
NordVPN is one of the most highly recommended providers, and it's also in an area where they are not affiliated with or are required to hand over any data regarding their users regardless of who asks. They also keep no logs, allow torrents, Onion over the VPN (TOR Network), kill switch, and more.
China's a little different but the Great Firewall is easily surpassed by VPNs like NordVPN.
I lived in South Korea and now Thailand where porn's illegal and all I have to do is switch to https:// and I have access.
Apollo for Reddit (have literally tried all the other reddit apps, and this is still the best).
Rick Steves Audio Europe - free audio walking tours in some European cities. Are professional quality and come with maps. Amazing travel app if you travel solo.
Pocket Casts- beautiful app, and i like podcasts
lire - best payonce RSS app on iOS atm. Can also sync and fetch text for offline use without extra charges (just a bit slow).
NordVPN - tried a few big names, this is the best. Can even fool Netflix.
OSMAnd maps- useful if you travel alot. Can save offline maps of cities/countries. Since you wont find data everywhere. I understand googlemaps can do it too but its way more cumbersome if you travel multiple cities,
I pay for mine, currently NordVPN, though I've used others there without real issue. There's virtually always some deal or another with one of the reputable vpns, and if there isn't you only need wait a wee bit and there will be one. ( is a pretty decent overview and starting point)
NordVPN seems to be pretty legit but there does appear to be an active smear campaign against them. Largely from accounts on some platforms, where the user name on other platforms is verified as the owner of PIA.
NordVPN, hundreds of access points Dozens of countries, even High Speed "streaming" access points, and direct to TOR access points that encrypt your entire connection stream, they even accept Bitcoin. They have a Canary, and even still have no logging.
NordVPN is good.
Based in Panama, no logging policy.
You can pay by credit card or even crypto.
Works with Netflix to give you US Netflix. Has servers based in most countries (Malaysia, Singapore, etc for speed).
I believe they have a 2 year plan for ~$79 USD and 3 years for ~$99 USD
I'm on team NordVPN. They've been brilliant so far. However, anyone with Sky needs to disable Sky Shield to even access the NordVPN site as it is blocked by sky. Ridiciculous. I thought Sky Shield was to "protect" you, not stop you from protecting yourself. Sky really, really do not want you to get a VPN.
I pay for Netflix, HBO Now, Hulu+Spotify (student package which is only $5/month), and of course, NordVPN for torrenting everything else. I also have Amazon Prime student which I bought specifically for shipping. Don’t use it much except to watch The Grand Tour.
Edit: edited for clarity. My sentence structure was initially poor leading everyone to believe I pay $5 for everything.
NordVPN and ExpressVPN works for me right now.
Edit: NordVPN has a 3 day trial where all you give is your email and you can use any server and you get normal speeds. Same as ExpressVPN for Mobile only you search up netflix with either vpn, they have a guide that will tell you which servers to use.
Buy a 1-month VPN membership (a good one like NordVPN) and watch the CBC or BBC’s coverage. Way less ads, very little obnoxious commentary, and content on demand with full event streaming online. Stop bitching about NBC, we all know they suck. Just pay the $12 and cancel the service at the end of the month. It’s easy.
Many streaming broadcasters are now starting to do this. I use a VPN (NordVPN -- not recommending them, just stating what I use). These streaming services cannot track my true location, DNS or IP address on a Virtual Private Network.
I'm using NordVPN since they're based in Panama. I was using Private Internet Access but I read recently that it's not a good idea to use a service that's based in the US since they could be susceptible to the US's shady spying nonsense.
Can't belive you forgot these:
>Dollar Shave Club
>MVMNT (Jacksfilms only)
>Honorable Mention: Youtuber's merch
similarly, if you have a VPN (NordVPN is a great one), lets you search for movies and shows across the netflix catalog of tons of countries.
wanna watch harry potter on netflix but live in the U.S.? set up your VPN to connect to a server in france.
you can search just about anything and it’ll be on netflix somewhere. VPNs are super neat.
edit: NordVPN works flawlessly for me, but there are definitely VPNs that will not. free ones are pretty much guaranteed to not work.
Sounds like you need a VPN, which is convenient because this comment is sponsered by NordVPN. Staying safe online is an ever growing difficulty and you could be exploited by hackers. NordVPN allows you to change your IP address, making you harder to track, securing your privacy. NordVPN is registered to an address in Panama used by shell companies. Their payments are processed by an american company called CloudVPN, which is owned by a man called Darius Bereika from Lithuiana. Darius Bereika also owns Tesonet, a data mining company. Tesonet has been sued for infringment on patents regarding the extraction of data from users of a VPN service.
Yeah, keep on trusting NordVPN. They're totally not sketchy at all.
I have NordVPN. It has its issues. A lot of sites behind some sort of DDOS-protection device or service (like cloudfare) will block a lot of NordVPN IPs. Amazon's main website often doesn't work if I'm connected to it. Also some minor sites, like won't work if I have a NordVPN connection active. It's pretty annoying.
Edit: ironic on a video with a guy advertising NordVPN, consensus in off topic sub-thread concludes PIA is better. LMAO
Be wary of PIA; they were recently bought by a shady company. I’m currently using them, but I’m probably going to switch next time other good options such as NordVPN go on sale.
EDIT: Watch the Linus vídeo someone linked in a reply to me. It has a lot more information on the situation than I had previously seen. Do your research and make your own decision. For what it’s worth, I do think PIA has a great price for its quality and services, and I chose them over other VPNs when I did research on cost/quality/services/privacy a few years ago.
Before we start the video I want to tell you guys about something...
NordVPN gets a lot of hate because their advertisements are pervasive, and their sales tactics are scummy. They did also get hacked once to my knowledge, but the server that was hacked did not contain any user activity logs.
If you compare them on That One Privacy Site you’ll see that they’re actually doing a lot right, including being based in Panama so they don’t have to send your data to a government.
Fun fact: I was once linked that by someone who thought it’d prove that Nord sucked, it didn’t.
This being said, VPNs aren’t really for privacy, and nothing is perfect. Do your own research, I’m not recommending Nord to you.
Do NOT download a random free VPN from the app store. First try using the app 22.214.171.124, this isnt a real vpn so there is no expectation of privacy, however, they will encrypt your dns requests so your requests might still go through to Apollo's servers. If you are gonna get a VPN do some research and get something "respectable" like NordVPN or Private Internet Access
Your Internet Connection is secure. You can not be tracked by a website directly (that also counts for p2p)
Also, you can mask your position in general, e.g. you can now watch bbc content outside of the uk or netflix us content from a different country.
The good ones cost money. It might make your speed a little bit slower, but if its a premium service where you pay (like NordVPN), that will hardly be the case.
Look for: VPNs that dont store your data (or at least tell you that and back it up with evidence).
If you really want to be untrackable, look for bitcoin payment.
I personally use Privateinternetacces. Their speeds can sometimes be bad, but on numerous occasions the FBI have requested logs and user data from them, and they simply had none to give: they don't track. Another one that sounds good is NordVPN. Before you buy a lengthy subscription try one month and see how speeds and connectivity works for you.
Wow I have NordVPN also! It provides me with safe internet browsing! I never have to worry about cyber attacks with NordVPN. Millions love it, so would you! Use my promo code HAGELKAISER for a 33% discount for one year!
I, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute this segue to our sponsor NordVPN. NordVPN supports a variety of VPN protocols and types of encryption and authentication allowing you to dial in the level of privacy you need. They’ve got apps for Windows, MacOS, Android, Linux and Google Chrome, and you can connect up to 5 devices at once using a single account. Their apps include DNS leak protection and IPV6 leak protection as well as their internet kill switch feature which blocks all traffic if the VPN becomes disconnected unexpectedly. Check it out today at Now that’s out of the way let’s continue with our swearing in...
I stopped pirating because I could stop paying for 50 channel cable packages and get everything in one place for one fee. I sucked it up and also got hulu, but now we're creeping up to the old model again. I'm not paying no $50 a month for all this shit. If they're not careful, they're going to turn internet video right back into an analog of cable, and that's going to make a bunch of people like me opt out again for the same reason we did before. And who gets the $10/mo then? That's right, NordVPN.
>This is really suspicious, and it confirms my intuitions that Nord is too good to be true.
>Don't trust NordVPN!!!!
You're a fool to consider this evidence or proof that your intuition is right.

It's disgusting actually. These days you can't tell what's an ad or not. You can't trust anybody. That's why I use NordVPN to help me stay safe online. NordVPN allows you to change your IP address, making you harder to track, securing your privacy. Download NordVPN today and use code ARAD for 20% off your first year.
So the whole 'no logs', 'outside of foreign influence', 'independent audit in progress', 'pro privacy ethos', 'daily warrant canary' and good security and encryption practises are all just one big illusion to fool you into routing your traffic through them.
I agree with being sceptical of an organisation's integrity, but exactly how much do you need to convince you? Because if I looked hard enough, I could find reasons that any website is secretly puppeteered by the NSA.
Also, if I were the NSA, it's much more economical to monitor specific websites of interest and time correlate the requests than it is to own a major VPN provider (As well as all of its competitors, got to catch them all).
NordVPN even offers a 'double VPN' which makes those attacks even harder to pull off. Seems counter intuitive to their goals.
Tor browser is an effective tool, but it doesn’t offer the same level of security and safety that a VPN does. Luckily, you don’t have to choose between the two. You can use Tor browser and a VPN together to combine their powers and maximize your privacy.
[bla bla bla bla] One great example is NordVPN’s Onion over VPN service, which allows you to connect to Tor without Tor browser.
Maybe it has something to do with advertising for NordVPN?
I've got no horse in this race as a non First member but:
>Having Gus repeatedly interrupt the flow of conversation to talk in monotone about something only available in the US, is getting really tiresome.
Honestly... listening to podcasts and youtube videos in general these days is exhausting. Everybody has the same sponsors. Squarespace, Harry's, DollarShaveClub, Skillshare, Meundies, Audible, NordVPN, blueapron etc. Probably a single dozen sponsors are responsible for 80% of the ads I see. RT is a bigger entity than normal, it would be nice to see them pull in some different sponsors.
Say what you will about ads on conventional cable, at least they're not nearly as repetitive.
Staying safe online is an ever growing difficulty and you could be exploited by hackers. NordVPN allows you to change your IP address, making you harder to track, securing your privacy. Check out the link in the description to get 20% off for the first two months and thank you to NordVPN for sponsoring this funeral.
Use NordVPN if you want to trust a company that is supposed to protect your privacy but instead gets your data compromised and still tries to hide that away from you.
But hey at least you get that month for free and a discount that is too good to pass on.
When not logged in, searching on my pc r/hongkong doesn’t even make the list. Using a VPN to the UK through NordVPN and again r/hongkong doesn’t make the list.
When logged in through the app on my phone r/hongkong it at the top of the list.
When logged in on my pc r/hongkong is first in the list and via VPN also first in the list. I think this is only because I have joined this subreddit already though.
So there is a real possibility that it is being filtered out the search items when not logged in.
It's 10000% inconsistent. I came from CSGO, playing ESEA - was ranked A/A+ in ESEA, hit global in mm. Pugged numerous times against pro/semi pros like roca, rush, etc.
Yes - they would dump on me. But it was never a situation where I couldn't even get 1 shot off. They would hs me, but I'd usually AT LEAST be able to 1-2 shot them even when I die. In Valorant, play against some random diamond kid and I'll hold an angle with an awp and just get strafe 1 tapped. So many times I'm dead without even being able to get ONE shot off.
And this isn't even to mention their notorious routing problems - zero issues with csgo in Chicago, get 30-40+ ping, contact Riot, provide all logs, they basically tell me try VPN. Use NordVPN, literally pick a server 30 miles away from my house and get 10 ping in game.
Valorant is definitely inconsistent and glitchy.
• Dollar Shave Club

I think that we misunderstand the effects of advertisements. I never watch an ad and think "Oh, I'll buy that", but sometimes I need something and when looking at possible options I'm more likely to think of that brand/product as an option. I think a good example of this is how, on youtube, we're bombarded with ads for Squarespace and NordVPN; sure, I don't use either, but if I needed a VPN or a website, those would certainly be services I'd look into because they come to mind immediately when I think of a VPN or website creation service.
Speaking of using a VPN, Id like to tell you about today’s sponsor: NordVPN. Trust NordVPN to protect YOUR data from prying eyes, and circumvent annoying location restrictions. Use offer code ‘APStudents’ for 40% off your first month by following the link in the description.
Cet amendement est déjà classé comme étant l'opération commercial NordVPN la plus rentable !
Plus sérieusement, je me demande comment vous faire les plateformes ou le contenu porno est présent mais minoritaire (exemple Reddit, Twitter..)
I’d like to give a shout-out to our sponsor today, NordVPN. They have military level encryption and are incredibly good at hiding your information and search history. If you want to get 2 months free, there’s a link in the description or you can use code: hentai today!
Ouch but sorry they have a 200gb limit on on their plans and it's £10 extra on all plans to upgrade it to 2000gb? 200gb is a joke of a data cap for home broadband, I've not seen it that low for like 10 years. Dunno if I'm missing something or not.
And their privacy policies can be good but none of the data is encrypted more than whatever site or app you use provides so if the government wants to snoop on you it seems like they could still.
I'd rather just use my normal ISP for much cheaper with no caps and use a VPN like NordVPN on top of it, it's only like £2.50 a month and no ones checking your data with that. And if the police or government asks Nord for your data logs it wont matter because Nord doesn't save anything like that so there'd be nothing to give.
The A&A ISP does sound awesome and if you have lots of money I'd go for them but I feel like I can get a better alternative method for cheaper elsewhere.
Hey what’s up guys, it’s ya boi MCWizardYT back with another video! Before we get started SMASH that like button, subscribe, hit that bell for yo sweet NOTIFICATION SQUAD!!! Leave a comment below for what you guys think my next video should be.
Alright now for the video! But wait, I got sponsored by SquareSpace and NordVPN!
5 minute long sponsorship ad
Alright thanks for watching and remember to restates intro. Thanks for watching, peace!
Aha! Nearly got me there! With NordVPN, the queen will never inspect my dysfunctional circumcised penis as I’ve now acquired full anonymity. Am I in Russia? Ukraine? Pakistan? or perhaps Albania? take your guess! I bid you good luck in finding me mr.inspector because my masked ip is constantly changing.
Look. The people who want a good VPN will do their research online and/or ask around people that know a thing or two about VPNs. The people who are not so smart will just buy whatever commercial they get spoon fed by their favorite streamers. You won't change that. I won't change that. NordVPN, G2A, gaming chairs, raid shadow legends, Gfuel. None of those are worth a cent, but advertising shitty things seems to be working regardless.
Learn how to create your very own Wix site on my website which I made using Squarespace. You too can learn how to create great websites on Squarespace using Skillshare, and you can keep your Skillshare password safe using Dashlane, but what good is having a secure password if your connection is not safe? This is why YOU should get NordVPN. Nord VPN protects your data with military grade encryption, so you can have your privacy! Use the code EPSTEIN to get 20% off a three-year plan. And hurry! The first 100 people who use the code will get 20% off AND the first month free! So hurry now!
While Notre Dame burned because it had a wood roof, your data might burn because it was unprotected. That's why you need NordVPN. Not all snoopers can be seen. Cybercriminals can steal your sensitive information. Hackers can intercept your data on public wifi. But not with the NordVPN app.
Considering my account info was stolen during the recent NordVPN leak, I wouldn't trust them installed on my computer, much less for keeping my data private. I am still getting alerts from time to time from various accounts of mine where people are trying to reset my passwords.
It's kind of ridiculous on some, they'll be 5 ad breaks in an hour long podcast, and it'll often be the same products as well.
I've had enough of hearing about NordVPN, Audible, Squarespace and Skillshare.
Apparently you want to go with a vpn that's not in a major country. PrivateInternetAccess is based in the US, which might be a security issue while NordVPN is based in Panama.
Gotta say im not too well versed with this stuff but i would prefer my VPN not to be in a country that has been caught spying on its citizens.
>a NordVPN spokesperson says the interest has been driven by privacy concerns over the introduction of Australia's mandatory metadata retention scheme.
Village Roadshow buying this legislation, and every fuckwit that voted in support of it actively made it harder for ASIO to do their job.
It's a case by case basis. Cyberghost doesn't keep logs of certain information. Hidemyass does. NordVPN got hit up with a lawsuit on data mining. In the end it's all due diligence. I guess source:Google?
> Epic's launcher has far fewer features than Steam, plus has a history of security breaches and other issues.
Apparently they perma-ban if you're detected using a VPN. Yes, for singleplayer games. Yes, on first offense. I'm not tossing my NordVPN subscription and gimping my network security just for their shitty storefront. Hard pass.
I first heard of NordVPN from one of Phil's sponsor segments, and I didn't trust them from that moment on. He used the term "military grade encryption" (he has since stopped using it, but other sponsorships and commercials still use it), which is not false, but definitely deceptive, since the military uses the same encryption as everyone else. He also compared a VPN to a firewall, which works completely differently than a VPN. I get that he has to simplify it so that non-tech savvy people can get interested, but come on. You also get a 77% discount if you use Phil's code, which has deceptive marketing written all over it, because they're obviously making the normal price really high and then giving you a huge discount to draw you in when really it's just an average price.
If anyone is looking for alternatives, I recommend PIA. They've been proven not to keep logs, they have fast speeds, and I haven't encountered any deceptive marketing from them.

That’s why I don’t use the internet. I write messages on paper, slap it onto a pigeon that flies it to my highly trained monkeys at an unknown location. The monkeys then type what I’ve written onto a keyboard that is linked to a computer in another completely random location Those computers use NordVPN and you can too! It uses “military grade” encryption that stops people spying on what you are doing online! Use this link to get 70% off a 3 year plan!!! And that is how I stay safe online. But if I want to see search results or anything I’ll just use my phone. They’ll never suspect it.
You need one with the option to uhh, I think it's usually called 'obfuscate private browsing' or something like that. It's been a long time since I activated mine for a China trip. I know NordVPN, VPNProxyMaster, and Tunnelbear have the option, but I refuse to endorse Tunnelbear because they're self righteous, guilt trippy, and cringey
Buy a VPN (NordVPN) is solid.
Get in a private tracker community by invite.
Download all the things from the private trackers and rarbg.
If you really want to get fancy, setup your own server with Sonarr, Radarr, Ombi and Plex.
I can go to Ombi, type in a movie or TV series I want, and it'll push the request to Sonarr or Radarr automatically, then they'll go through all my trackers and find the torrent, along with fitting to my requirements for file size, amount of seeders, and video quality.
After its done downloading, it formats and puts it into the right folder.
Then Plex finds it, and let's me know it's available to watch on any device.
It's absolutely baller.
McAfee is the ultimate deceptive piece of software if it is doing what is claimed here.
But claiming that NordVPN or any other VPN provider is reprehensible, just because of what McAfee does seems a bit far fetched. While I would agree that VPN's usually aren't needed for use all the time, they do have a use and they do it well.

•Hulu $3 (Spotify promotional add-on)
•Amazon $8 (pro-rated monthly from yearly cost)
•Sling $5 ($20/month for three months, pro-rated monthly from yearly cost)
Monthly cost of cable TV is $100 at a minimum, so these à la carte services are still a bargain.
All VPNs do work the same(hide IP/location), but many keeps logs that can be traced back to you and if you use any VPNs in the 14th eyes the governments in those eyes can requests that data from each other. Like the FBI getting data from a US company and giving it to a government entity within those 14 eyes when they request it.
NordVPN is located in Panama while PIA is located in the USA which is also within the 5 eyes. You could go with PIA since it’s been proven in court that they don’t keep logs but better safe than sorry to use a VPN outside the Five/Nine/Fourteen eyes. There’s also no restrictions for countries to hosts VPNs in other countries outside the 14th eye so they can collect their own data; for example the USA making a VPN service in Panama.
This website is good for comparing a lot of VPNs.
Hell yeah, bounced on my boy’s dick to this for hours. Reminds me of that time when I went out to play basketball with Bill Clinton and he plays really well cause as we all know, Bill Clinton is black. Obama was there too but he was to busy being a soyboy to play. I managed to beat Bill though and from the way he reacted, you could’ve sworn he was either an enraged Philly fan or Donald Trump when he receives any form of criticism on Twitter. Anyways, this comment was sponsored by NordVPN, hail Satan.

Now before I activate the Ark, I'd like to take a minute to talk to you about NordVPN. Throughout the entire Human Covenant War humanity has tried to invade High Charity's privacy and discover our IP address. They have been put off by NordVPN
As I mentioned in the title. Used BetterTouchTool to customize my Touchbar and I thought I'd share it since I'm very happy with it and after a couple of weeks of not using the Touchbar I've started using it all the time.
From left to right:
Public IP, WiFi name and internal IP.
Status of two work servers. Displays a red X if the webserver, PHP or database is not working.
Spotify artwork and current song. Next song button.
NordVPN on/off toggle. Green means on.
Empty space for most used emojis in certain apps like iMessage, WhatsApp and Skype.
Commodore 64 decoration :) long press to lock screen.
Basically keeps your browsing history private if you torrent or just don't want people to know what you're doing online(like your ISP).
I bought NordVPN at a discount but there are some free ones out there. The paid ones are not that expensive for a year or two tho.
So did all of the other VPNs that used to work. The reason they try and lock you in for 3 years is because NordVPN will go the way of all the other VPNs and stop working as soon as the streaming services find a way to block access.
There's actually a massive market for digital privacy if you're interested. But fear not, I have some solutions:
Stop using Facebook and or Instagram and Snapchat. And Twitter.
Stop using Google. Don't use anything Google.
Use Signal as messenger. Proto mail for emails.
Use Firefox Focus or DuckDuckgo as browsers.
My heart grew heavy at the NordVPN ad. It felt like a fucking slap in the face. "Hey guys please help cause I feel like I'm stuck in an algorithmic machine and I'm depressed, also THIS VIDEO WAS BROUGHT TO YOU BY..." it just took away from everything. I miss when jack was honest, funny, creative, but honestly, I just miss when he was happy.
How are you in IT and not paranoid?
Scrubbed my social media accounts
Created a Twitter (mostly to keep up with politics) using a VOIP # with no ties to my name. This was actually quite difficult.
NordVPN all the things
Brave / Dissenter + DDG for most everything
Tor for... Things
Protonmail for email
Signal for encrypted calls/texts
Wire for anonymous & encrypted group chats
Separate laptop on my hotspot network with chrome for Gmail/bill paying.
With the language coming out of the U.S Government.. I'm encrypting anything and everything. Removing as much data (useful data that is) from big tech.
> Since when have VPNs become the go to for privacy? So many of these VPN services are huge scams. So many people signing up to willingly and directly port all their internet activity via unknown servers sold to them by individual companies based in uncontrolled locations around the world.
Right? Like NordVPN is super opaque about who actually owns it, but after some digging some people found that it was owned by a Russian internet mogul. Unfortunately, I'm in China so I have to use it now, but no way in hell I'm using it when I get back
And make sure to browse securely with NordVPN! NordVPN helps protect your data and keep you safe when browsing online. Be sure to use code 'shelloutforshillings' for 75% off your first 3 months. NordVPN!

NordVPN bough an alarm system just in case this happened. As soon as the news broke, a disco ball dropped from their ceiling, confetti shot out from the walls, and rave music started blaring.

You can use a VPN to make it look like you're in a region where it is available. Opera browser comes with a free VPN built-in, although paid VPN's can provide superior performance. Personally, I use NordVPN.
>Whenever you use your computer are you logged in on a reputable VPN service like NordVPN with CyberSec enabled? If NO, stop being cheap and go to and buy a 2 year subscription to protect your internet traffic and make it encrypted.
NO NO NO. Do not use a VPN for security unless you have a really good reason to. It does almost nothing to protect you from hackers in general, while giving control over all your traffic to the VPN provider. A single point of failure like this is a severe danger in itself. VPNs are important if you're traveling a lot and must do sensitive stuff on untrustworthy networks. But even then, you should always be using HTTPS and a trustworthy public DNS service. But this mitigates the need for a VPN in most cases.
Would your VPN happen to be NordVPN, the robust virtual private network with an excellent collection of features, wrapped in a slick client that secures your online activities? For just $2.99 a month you enjoy full access to all NordVPN features completely risk-free.
NordVPN isn't a Panaman company in the same way Ford is an American company. They were just smart enough to base their main company in Panama so as to avoid so many regulations and offer more competitive internet privacy.
Same for me, i'm from Holland myself. i used this site as a quick fix (at work atm) otherwise i use NordVPN.
“Hi guys Bateson here and id like to talk to you about today’s sponsor, NordVPN. NordVPN allows you bypass government guidelines for all your FIFA Point & pack opening needs, use code bankrupt at checkout for 5% off!”
But that problem is gone with today's sponsor NordVPN. Staying safe online is an ever growing difficulty and you could be exploited by hackers. NordVPN allows you to change your IP address, making you harder to track, securing your privacy. Check out the link in the description to get 20% off for the first two months and thank you to NordVPN for sponsoring this video.
For those thinking about getting one, I woulf recommend NordVPN, it is pretty easy to set up, supports all platforms and is probably on sale or you can get a discount using any of YTs codes, I saved some bucks using some code.
