Minecraft runs great under Linux. So do most games that don't rely on anti-cheat at this point.

If you want to try it out, you can make a Live USB and boot your computer with that -- it won't touch your hard drive unless you choose to fully install it. I recommend Fedora to start with, it's one of the many, many distributions, or "distros", basically just big packages of software around the Linux kernel that form the user experience.

It's an alternative Youtube app for Android that has built-in adblock, sponsorblock and other layout settings.

Another strong point about ublock origin is that it allows you to block certain cosmetics on a site. Does a site have an annoying top bar that takes 1/3 of the screen? You can just zap it out and have a much clearer interface.

Another tip if you have the know-how is to use the hosts list. It lets you directly block ads by blocking your computer's access to an ad server. You can also use Pihole if you have a spare Raspberry Pi laying around to block ads and other sites on a network-wide basis, so you can even block ads on mobile apps as well.

The downsides for the hosts file is that it doesn't seem to block YT ads, and since it doesn't have cosmetic filtering, it will leave empty spaces on sites unlike browser addons like ublock. The upside is that since it uses a lower level language, it's faster than a browser addon (I think those use javascript), but remember to update it frequently.

yeah! so i have this warmer and I use this wax. Correct, not because of how the program works, but rather because of how the file is archived. How this works is by overlapping files inside the zip container, creating a highly compressed chunk of data, as opposed to archiving them "side by side"

Think of it this way, you have a cardboard box. It can fit 4 cups, by 4 cups. How do you fit, say, 1600 cups inside it? You take the cups, and stack them inside one another. Sure, it'll be tall as hell, but you've still managed to fit 1600 cups by stacking them 4x4, and then nesting them inside one another.

You do this by basically overlapping repeated bits. Since it's the same file just copied X number of times, there will be a lot of repeated bits. This allows you to basically re-use the bits over and over, allowing you to cut out the excess information.

I got curious to look up hiccup remedies and most are unproven or otherwise just folk medicine. But, in the most r/196 turn of events ever, I did find that one of the few published medical remedies for intractable hiccups is digital rectal massage.

It seems like science suggests hiccups can be cured with a finger up the butt. There is probably a technique involved, but I am not a medical professional so maybe ask your doctor about it.

I think getting a safe and hiding it would be a good idea. You can use the excuse that you want to start saving money, an emergency fund of sorts. Also if you have to hide hrt from your parents you should start saving an emergency and moving fund of sorts. If your leg hair is long, you should trim it before shaving or else it'll probably clog your razor up pretty badly. Go slowly and use extreme caution around your knees and ankles. If you decide you want to keep shaving your legs regularly, i recommend investing in one of these if you can because they make shaving much faster and easier imo

Actually I have a trick for whenever I'm having trouble sleeping. TLDR you consciously turn off your body. How I do it:

1. Get super comfy (or as much as possible) and get all your scratches out

2. I Imagine a wall of switches, big clunky ones that would take effort to use like this

3. Each one is connected to a limb, and one by one I pull each switch

4. Once I flip that switch that limb can not move that limb no matter how much thought I put into it

6. Then after some relaxing and breathing I drift to sleep
