I don't know if you are talking about Geometry Dash (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.robtopx.geometryjumplite), also you have the first one or at least the older that I know that's "The impossible Game" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flukedude.impossiblegame). They don't look just exactly as Hyper Tunnel but these two comes to my mind.

Who hasnt heard of this game! 6 million installs WOW
If you like difficult games try out Geometry Dash. Starts out easy and can get ridiculous as you get further. All you gotta do is click the screen at the right times

Also, trying to check out that retry game but your link doesn't work and I can't find it by name in the play store!
Geometry Dash is probably my favorite, along with Deemo. Both have great soundtracks!
I think its neat you have implemented both interaction systems. It may be a personal preference, but I prefer "Relative" mode. In terms of the default interaction scheme, I would suggest "Relative" mode with a sensitivity that matches the screen, so if I slide my finger 5cm across the screen, I expect my character to move 5cm as well.
I have given the amount of negative reviews an extra thought and it could be possible some of them is caused by your game's title lying uncomfortably close to the all popular Geometry Dash. I don't believe the choice of interaction is the primary cause, as I have aswell launched a game with horrible a horrible user interface and the reviews are not near as negative. Keep on working hard, because it is a fine product you have developed which doesn't deserve the negative feedback it have received.
Geometry Dash is the shit.

The C++ API of Cocos2D-X is the most stable one since that's the same language the engine is built on. For the most part, there are no GUIs to help you on the way without investing some money.
Many simple animations and physics can be done using the engine's APi, but for more complex ones (like skeletal animation, objects with very specific physics, etc) you are probably going to prefer animation tools like spine from esotericsoftware.com and physicseditor from codeandweb.com. As for generating spritesheets, TexturePacker from codeandweb is pretty much a standard, although Zwoptex can also be used.
Performance-wise Cocos2D-X is great -- it's lighter than the sample applications I built on Unity and Unreal engines, and you are provided with lots of test code that is used during development so that you can see all the things the engine can do and how to do them by reading that code.
Examples of successful games written with Cocos2D-X are these:
All of these games have millions of installs.
Geometry Dash is quite diverting...
