Depends on your calculator, and whether you hit = after each step or not. I don't have a physical calculator handy, but if I put the problem into the calculator app on my phone (HiPER Calc Pro for Android; others may differ) exactly as written in OP's screenshot, I get 44. If I hit = after each step, I get the results shown in your comment.
Its more of a niche app, but Hiper Calc Pro has provided me the best app development and thus best value for the very reasonable one time purchase price. It has more features as an advanced scientific calculator than mainstream users will typically desire but it still has a very pleasing interface and can be customized to ones liking. An A plus plus plus app!
What do you use it for? Check out HiCalc Pro (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.hipercalc.pro). Not a shill, just got it for free with Google Play Pass and was surprised at how much it did.
Pretty much what I was looking for in a calculator app two months ago. Too bad the development of the Android version seems to have stalled out early last year.
For heavier duty math, I've been using this one. It's a fairly modern looking calculator app that makes reasonably good use of the touchscreen. And fortunately, no permissions.
