The solution here is not to trust your "important documents" to a a glorified spell-checker if you literally don't know how to conjugate verbs or that "don't" needs an apostrophe.
And FWIW at least a few people have had the name "Dont".
>same diagonal give you the same area for different ratio.
This isn't true. The same size diagonal will give a bigger area the closer the ratio is to square.
Try it out here: https://www.omnicalculator.com/math/diagonal-of-rectangle
It is very hard to distinguish what separates humans from non human animals. Animals, like humans, poses emotions, they can communicate, use tools, build structures, solve complex problems (in some cases they solve math quicker than humans), do politics, have complex social structure, go to war, be self aware, make love for fun of it, be altruistic, do dumb stuff, get bored, learn and teach and so on...
What makes us unique are things that are not obvious at all. Like theory of mind (ability to understand that other beings also posses mind of their own), ability to throw things and mythology (literature).
I would like for someone in this field to correct me if I am wrong, but almost anything you can think of is at least partialy done by some animal form somewhere. This is a great book on the subject
Here is a book called "Brexit: how Britain will leave Europe". Is that 'real' enough for you?
How is shortening "United states of America" to "America" different from shortening "European Union" to "Europe"? There are so many countries or regions that have a different colloquial name than their official name. I live in Europe and we refer to the European Union as "Europe" all the time in casual conversations.
Even if it isn't technically the correct usage, it is still very common.
https://ludwig.guru/s/I+was+intrigued+that
Take a look there for examples of it being used in publications.
As a side note, I really suggest you evaluate how you interact with others. Nobody thinks you're funny or smart, you just sound like a dick. A lot of people, including myself, actively try to avoid people like you.
In "Arguing with Zombies" Krugman argues, I believe accurately, that conservatives today knowingly accept lies and intentionally muddy waters as above, in bad faith.
Lol I appreciate your boots-on-the-ground reporting of the issue.
But you can also look up the exchange rate whenever...

It is real. I'll try look up the ISBN later, but it's fairly well known on the internet, should be an easy find.
EDIT: Another user commented the following

The phillipines was a colonised country. The third world was the world fighting against colonisation, pretty explicitly. In terms of the first world and second world conflict, the third world was theorised to be the areas they were fighting it out of over. Obviously, places that were part of colonial empires don't count as first world. When people show maps of the first world, they don't show the entire french and british empires do they?
Theres a great book that goes into detail about the third world project and its eventual destruction. I'll leave a link to the amazon page at the bottom, but I just pirated it lol.
Obviously.
The research tells us that more people can more intuitively and more accurately do 8 x 5 and 5 x 7 and 8 x 4.5 = 4 x 9 and hold the results in their head using multiplication tables they learned as small children then can do 7/8 vs 4.5/5 without making a mistake.
Even if 7/8 is easy for you then running the other maths as a sanity check is a good way to avoid embarrassing brain farts.
Thinking, Fast and Slow - Daniel Kahneman explains how people get stuff like this wrong and how to avoid such mistakes.
Yeah, it’s one of those things where the price differential is huge to find your own. There is perhaps a small risk of parasites. But nothing you can’t remove by a quick boil or bake I assume. I always chuckle seeing them at the store

Dumas' father was amazing. There's a fantastic book about him, The Black Count: Glory, Revolution, Betrayal, and the Real Count of Monte Cristo, https://www.amazon.com/Black-Count-Revolution-Betrayal-Cristo/dp/0307382478. He was a general and commanded armies for France, and then he pissed off Napoleon, which did not go well for him.

This book is a fun read. Could be worth giving to people who don't understand the concept. But only if they're actually open to learning.
"Race" really just means 'group of people' in an extremely vague way.
It doesn't actually mean anything at all unless the context gives it a meaning.
The history of the US has given "race" a highly loaded meaning there that does not necessarily apply in other contexts.
Some relevant examples:

Looks like the front is a panel with an offset zipper and slits for the straps on the shoulders so you unzip it, then flip the whole panel aside and you can buckle up as normal then flip the panel back over the straps.
Yeah i was thinking on this term https://www.amazon.com/Abrahamic-Faiths-Christianity-Similarities-Contrasts/dp/1590080319
As opposed to the term Religion, but the correct word turned out to be denomination and Christianity is the religion.
I tried using Firefox and Opera but I really liked the user experience of Chrome. I just wanted to get out of the Google ecosystem, so I switched to Brave because it's built on Chromium and feels extremely familiar. It's also nice not having to install an ad-blocker, , HTTPS Everywhere, etc. when I need to use a new machine or reinstall an operating system.
I don’t know about globalists, but big pharmacy absolutely impacts all of the below (in picture). Read Sickening, How Big Pharma Broke America. You can see the lawsuits and other sources he references, read them for yourself. They’re actual sources, not Alex Jones or Faux News. The impact big pharma and their money has on the information given to peer reviewed journals and FDA truly to impact everyone. It’s a problem. And though they don’t directly control doctors and nurses in the sense of getting a kick back, we (im a nurse) use the published information from the FDA and various medical journals to create evidence based practices. So, even though the doctors/nurses have the best intentions for their patients, our information sources are currently tainted by lobbyists money from big pharma.
There's also the comic version.
Depends on your calculator, and whether you hit = after each step or not. I don't have a physical calculator handy, but if I put the problem into the calculator app on my phone (HiPER Calc Pro for Android; others may differ) exactly as written in OP's screenshot, I get 44. If I hit = after each step, I get the results shown in your comment.
and if you actually click on the image instead of relying on Google's flawless search aggregating algorithm, you'll see it clearly labeled as a "BETSY ROSS" hat.
>Umm, please show me a genuine context in which bi doesn't relate to two.
Umm, I just did - it's what this whole conversation / thread / post is about. Words are defined by their use, and language and meanings evolve over time. Always have, always will.

>it is by definition a prefix denoting two
As with many words, prefixes, suffixes, etc. it has more than one meaning:
[Definition of bi- (Entry 3 of 4)
1: life : living organisms or tissue](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bi-)

>Etymological rules are in play here. I didn't make them but they're older than history.
The OED, which you seem so fond of, defines it as a variant of the be- prefix (from Old English) - the original meaning of which is "about."

>You haven't proved or disproved shit
You literally argued that because "bilingual" and "bisexual" have the same prefix they're gonna be defined in a similar way. I provided a dictionary entry in which "bisexual" is defined in a way not similar to "bilingual" in terms of the bi- prefix - which clearly disproves your claim. As you said yourself, negating your own argument - just because one dictionary says one thing doesn't mean they all do.

>you're just learning.
I'm learning that you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

By the way - what do you call this device?
Censoring is pretty awkward there. I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.catrobat.paintroid
if you're an Android user. It's simple but handy shapes for censor-blocking part of images, neater than scribbling over images.
At least try to read the comments, the source has been posted multiple times
Here's the source it's a real book by Bob Jones University, printed in 1994.
Bob Jones University Press, of course. Having been sent to an evangelical school in my youth that used BJU material I can tell you for a fact that this level of inane shit is par for the course with them.
Sadly, it's real.

5/5 stars. A++ - would recommend! Perfect 5/7. With rice.
> I saw snippets of this book online and thought they were fake. When I found out it was real, I bought it as a gag gift for a friend.
> I thought this was either a parody, or some hilariously outdated book from the 60s or 70s. It's a real book from Bob Jones University, printed in 1994. It is hysterical and borderline insane in how much basic education it gets wrong. According to this book, nobody knows what electricity is or where it comes from but it is probably space magic from the sun.

Different states have different rules for private schools. My state does not review private school curriculum at all except for 11th and 12th grade and that's only if the graduates wish to pay for college using state scholarships. Parents are free to send their kids to schools that have no review at all.
Don't even worry about it! Actually, congratulations for being one of the good guys who actually tries to please their partners (and by the amount of squirt, are actually successful at it 👀😂). Squirting is such a cool, natural thing, but I also totally understand about the bed situation (my ex girlfriend used to be grossed out sleeping in the bed afterwards).
Some things I've found helpful are these mattress protectors specifically (very durable and work great).
Utopia Bedding Zippered Mattress... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MRH4AMI?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Also, any time we play in a hotel, we get two queen beds rather than one king (a play bed and a sleep bed, or time for one bed to dry out while we alternate, depending on how long the sesh, haha).
There are also water resistant blankets and such if there is play in other parts of the house. Lot's of fun.
Good luck!
Utter. Bull. Shit.
The United States was founded as a secular nation because our Founding Fathers knew that government by religion - any religion - cannot help but be corrupt and restrict common decency and civil rights. The only way to have freedom of religion is freedom from religion.
I highly recommend The Founding Myth by Andrew L. Seidel for more than enough evidence to support this truth.
Who are you saying is confidently incorrect? Because Evola did in fact write a book critiquing theosophy. I haven't read it to know if @Logo_Daedalus there is describing it accurately, but Landshark definitely didn't just make it up. Or more likely, Landshark tried to make up a book as a gotcha, but didn't know enough about the author to realize that a similar book actually existed.

>Yes, evolution takes place over long periods of time, but there are also hard start and stop points.
I'm going to need you to either explain that more fully, or provide evidence for this.
>At one point, one of our ancient ancestors gave birth to the first being
that would meet the biological criteria of being a modern human.
No. This simply isn't true. That's not how any of this works.
>That being was indeed the first modern human, and it was birthed by a non-modern human mother.
What are you basing this on?
> Individual organisms do not evolve into different organisms over the course of their lifetime.
Of course they don't.
>Evolution occurs because sometimes enough genetic mutations occur in a
single organism that when it is born it comes out as a different species
than its parents.
That's simply not true.
The changes accumulate in a population over a long period of time. That population slowly becomes a different species. At any individual point in time, the population looks pretty uniform. Over the course of 100,000 years? You can see the differences emerge.
A mother gives birth to a child of the same species. That child may have some small differences that don't distinguish it as a "different species". Maybe those traits get passed on to subsequent generations. That child grows up, reproduces, and produces children of her own. Maybe that child has further changes in her DNA - but she still looks like the same species as her parents. And on and on, down the genetic line. Everyone looks basically like their parents, and the differences between generations are fairly small.
It's the time that's the key. Evolution, after all, is change over time.
You should read up on the Galapagos finches to get a good idea of how divergence happens in the real world. The Beak of the Finch is a superb read, if a little dated.

In manufacturing, we use vibrating tables to settle things like powders or to get a bunch of cards to line up together after they've been cut and stacked. Kinda like this thing. I'm not sure if the rolling pin vibrating would give quite the same results, but I'd be interested in seeing what happens.
Yes, but the effect would be negligible for anything falling through the atmosphere, unless you needed increased precision for some reason. I dont think (high?)school math problems need that precision.
"Gravity decreases with altitude as one rises above the Earth’s surface because greater altitude means greater distance from the Earth’s centre. All other things being equal, an increase in altitude from sea level to 9,000 metres (30,000 ft) causes a weight decrease of about 0.29%. (An additional factor affecting apparent weight is the decrease in air density at altitude, which lessens an object’s buoyancy. This would increase a person’s apparent weight at an altitude of 9,000 metres by about 0.08%)" - https://www.fxsolver.com/browse/formulas/Gravity+Acceleration+by+Altitude
So there is only a 0.21% decrease in weight at 30k feet, which is negligible. But that also means that if someone does want to be precise, they have to take into account both the changes in gravity along a gradient on the way down, *and* the changes in air pressure along a similar gradient. Being 100% precise is impossible AFAIK.
OK Classtime is over.

> that hyper-dense singularity still came from somewhere
Loop Quantum Cosmology does not require a singularity. Our understanding of the universe is incomplete and using the singularity as a "beginning of everything" is convenient rather than precise.
As incomplete as Big Bang Theory is, it's a very difficult theory to dethrone. Competing theories might give better explanations for certain things, but fail to explain all the well-established facts of the Universe that BBT does so well.
A great read on how difficult it is to replace BBT is The Cosmic Revolutionary's Handbook: (Or: How to Beat the Big Bang)
[Local extrema](https://brilliant.org/wiki/extrema/#:~:text=An%20extremum%20(or%20extreme%20value,containing%20the%20point%20is%20obtained.) are very well and precisely defined. They are not remotely subjectice.

But ok, lets google dead accounts, or dead followers.
>Dead accounts Inactive accounts that have been out of use for a long time. Perhaps, some of them will try to re-engine their accounts later, or those accounts will get abandoned.
https://sociality.io/blog/clean-up-instagram-account/
>The site requests that you sign in to your Twitter account. Do so, and the site whirs and grinds for a while and then presents a list of dead accounts, like the one shown in the figure, along with the last date the accounts updated on the site. You may be shocked at the number of results. https://www.dummies.com/web-design-development/social-media-commerce/social-media-commerce-unfollow-dead-twitter-accounts/
But let me guess, those are not the "right" Google results.
It's not so much that the maths is hard but that the majority of people skim articles and mentally highlight the important parts. By presenting a number like 400/per million, people have a harder time comprehending how large that number is mentally and it can come across as 400/per 'really big number.
While this isn't necessarily the case with all readers, statistics should be as understandable as possible while still remaining accurate because it's so easy to manipulate the truth or minimise an issue. No matter how in unbiased a report seems, the way data is presented will have implications for the reader.
As an example, saying less that 1.5% of COVID cases have resulted in fatalities is accurate but could minimise the issue if you don't specify that it equates to 133,000 deaths. Obviously this isn't always the case but it definitely common in the news and it's something that should be heavily scrutinized.

It’s so hard to break away from what we’ve been taught is the ‘truth’, with no room to explore anything else. I’m not American, but I can see that the education system there does not teach critical thinking. You do need to do your own research - Wikipedia is generally a reasonable place to start.
My advice would be to question everything and seek out people who can help with that. I’d recommend this book, or this one.

This is a sandal. You will notice how it has a strap around the back part of the leg, and it can't fall off, just a regular shoe. Flipflops don't go around the ankle.
Your answer is the same thing my Demography professor in graduate school explained to us. He specifically referred to (this book)[https://www.amazon.com/Generations-History-Americas-Future-1584/dp/0688119123] for the origin of the term.
Understandable, because I think that is definitely what the other poster in this thread was arguing. Honestly I definitely feel the least sympathy for Rosenbaum considering prior to being shot he was caught on camera actively provoking other people, calling them the N word, yelling "SHOOT ME N*****! SHOOT ME!". Like I said, all we really know about the first shooting is that Rosenbaum was chasing and lunging at Rittenhouse before any violence had clearly started. Maybe new evidence will surface that clearly condemns Rittenhouse for the first shooting, but given the info that we have now, I cannot possibly understand how anyone can look at the totality of the information we have and resolutely conclude "oh yeah, that was clearly an unprovoked cold blooded murder".

I also found this review on the current edition of the textbook and someone said, "I read the last chapter of the American Pageant. It was very biased towards Donald Trump." So the authors seem very skewed to the right. I really hope they're still not using this book for AP U.S. History students. Or any U.S. History students, for that matter.
