Here is one way to watch Reddit videos. Try Hopwatch for Reddit it may work for you if the videos are on a compatible web hosting site. It won't do a playlist like you mentioned.

I use HopWatch. It does all images/videos, not just GIF. You can add any sub you want and sort a few ways (hot, top hour/day/week/etc).

For now, you could zoom in. Ctrl+. Maybe with the mobile interface.

EDIT: or if you have a TV that supports it, or can get a device that does, you can use HopWatch for Reddit.
