That's surprisingly good!
This would look even better with jelly jump-esque graphic style.
I love Jelly jump https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ketchapp.jellyjump
>we occupy the same place in public perception as pimps and schoolyard drug dealers
If you're trying to gain some ground on this argument, you are far better off using less offensive and hyperbolic comparisons.
I work at a profitable games company. We produce fun games. There are mechanisms in the game that are designed to make us money. There has to be, or else we wouldn't exist. We still know that the best way to make money is to make a great game. But you have to be business smart. We have a good reputation as being a ethical gaming company that produces cool stuff.
Ketchapp is one of our biggest competitors.
They produce lots of really little games that have advertisements and little substance, but I still respect them!
There's lots of things to be appreciated in games like burger, Jelly Jump and Crossy Road.
These games are cool and deserve to exist!
Everything has it's place in this world. All video games are art.
I'm not saying that your work and your company don't deserve to exist, but that seems to be what you are saying about my work and my company. Isn't that offensive? Are you saying you don't think my work is valid? Do you apply the same judgement to the mail man who delivers mostly flyers? Who are you to judge these games? Why do you think you can make judgements for other people? If people want to play our games, who's to say they are wrong? You? Are you saying that the student on the bus playing crossy road is wrong? That he should play something more substantial? In order to broaden his mind? Are you saying that listeners to pop music are wrong? That they should listen to something more substantial? Is pop music killing the music industry?
I love these little games and their little art styles and their little game mechanics. Call me a drug dealer. ;)
