Ive tried Apollo and it felt like a mixture of 'flow for reddit' and 'karma machine for reddit'. Pity neither of these two apps are being actively developed anymore. Karma Machine is the best looking Reddit app I've ever tried and Flow used to be one of the smoothest flowing Reddit apps out there. Apollo reminds me of both of these apps.
Kind of a niche answer, but a few years back there was this Reddit client for Android called Karma Machine, it had the sleekest animations and design I've seen in an app. It was in beta, but it hasn't been updated for some time so it's probably abandoned. FeelsBadMan
SolidExplorer has already been mentioned (best app I've ever used IMO), so I'll say Karma Machine. That app has awesome animations, and also follows the material design spec to a T.

And for music there's Phonograph, love that app as well https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kabouzeid.gramophone&hl=en
Great work, looks really promising! I have few suggestions:
Overall I really like this app. If you could implement voting feature like in KarmaMachine (Swipe the comments/posts to left/right) it would be an instant switch for me. I like how it works here because it's very fast and voting is the action that I use most often.

Actually, I'm waiting for Karma Machine to get updated. Excellent app.

Also, some lesser talked about but still pretty good (mostly in development)
linkme: karma machine for Reddit, redreader, flow for Reddit, rebrowser for Reddit, diode for Reddit, reader for Reddit, pixels for Reddit.

infinity is waaaaay better looking
This should be the Play Store link. It's in alpha, though, so there are a bunch of features not yet implemented.
Personally I use Relay, but I'm trying this out right now:

The animation look really cool, but it's in beta and can't do anything besides viewing posts, commenting and submitting posts (right now, will be added in the future). I can't wait for basic features like viewing my inbox, and once that's done I will probably switch to it.
And it has the (not supported yet, but planned) "hide read links" feature from Relay, it's what keeps me going back to Relay after trying out others.
