I'd recommend the third Kingdom Rush Origins, which is actually first in terms of the limited story, or the Tiny Guardians game, if you need a starting point.
The internal/"secure" data storage for apps is /data/data (you'll see all those funky com.package.name folders there, backup the folder with the package name of your app).
Going by the Play Store link, I'd wager the folder would be
com.ironhidegames.android.kingdomrushorigins
Internal path for sdcard is usually /sdcard/ (which is symlinked to /storage/emulate/0 on my phone, older apps may be using /storage/emulated/legacy. Mine is an internal storage and not a removable SD card, but it definitely should be mounted in /storage somewhere).
Not sure how you'd restore the data on your new phone if you don't have root though.
Edit: Oh the helium app has a desktop helper for non-root.. never really thought about that.
For me, Kingdom Rush Origins, by far. It's an excellent game, not to mention fully offline.
