Well, what phone do you have? Cuz your options might be limited if you have an iPhone. But if it's an Android, I think PSO2 Kue is the best app out there. Still requires you to check Bumped from time to time for boost events and the likes, but otherwise it'll tell you of almost every upcoming EQ an hour ahead (scheduled and unscheduled). Very rarely it won't notify properly or at all, but that's something the app itself mentions.

It happens at a specific scheduled time. If you have an android phone, download this app. Also make sure your time zone is correct. PSO2Kue
