I personally think everybody should learn how to invest so here is a free app thats really good at explaining it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubicoin.rubicoinlearn I really recommend it as I learned I should probably put my money on a fund like SPY cause if you let it sit on the bank inflation is gonna be a pain in the ass but you should probably wait after presidential election cause a lot of shit can happen rn
investopedia.com is basically all you need. It really is a good way to explain the basics of investing to someone new to the market. If you want very, very basic info to start off this is a decent starting app to help you get interested in investing, just the bare basics: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubicoin.rubicoinlearn
Good YouTube channels I've found were The Plain Bagel, Ben Felix, and Two Cents while not really being investing focused has a lot of common sense. Just good, concise information from all 3 of these channels.
A couple tips I'd like to give before you watch, is to not focus on dividends as being "the ideal goal", dividends are immediate taxable income, and don't outperform non-dividend stocks long term. They're nice, but they aren't the be all end all. Don't day trade unless you know what you're doing, you'll see a bunch of "get rich quick millionaire" YouTubers who day trade to earn thousands in a day. It's very hard to day trade if you do not know what you're doing, and even a year of experience with an algorithm may not be enough to beat the market. There's a lot of "scam" YouTubers who only post their wins, and maybe 10% of their losses to trick you into buying their shitty investing memberships.
Best of luck man. After reading all of this I'm still convinced investing a majority of my income in a low fee index fund is more manageable for my long term goals. People critique passive investing for rightful reasons but if you don't want to worry about the market it's a good way to beat inflation long term.
Investing is a good way to learn, but I'd also recommend you get this app:

Really simplifies a good base knowledge for what you should know.
There are free apps on Google Play: Learn is the first one that comes to mind. It's super basic.
