used a computer tablet as a light table (Since I did this at home and my light table is at work, I used a 10" android tablet with a lightbox app as a make shift light table. Otherwise, I use my patio door glass if it's sunny outside)
outlines roughed in on 8.5" x 11" photocopier paper with a 2H pencil – just so the eyes don't end up on her forehead. And then inked in with a Staedtler Triplus Fineliner (These are really good to work with, under 2 bucks each and holds a point nicely and don't smudge. Plus, they're longer than a regular size pen so it's easier to hold, for me at least).
scanned the drawing and saved as a layered TIF, curves and levels are adjusted in Photoshop and coloured.
