I have Hypothyroidism and ADHD... I have totally used the spoon therory for my Hypothyroidism.....
I must say tho, for me, when not medicated for both properly, it's more like i have limited spoons because of my thyroid issue.
Then My ADHD proceeds to throw the spoons all over the floor and i have to pick them all up all the time when i want to use them, and lo and behold, some of those spoons have gone missing somewhere!
Recommendations for you from me would be to try a different medication.... then go for a massage, or do something that refills your batteries!!! I was actually reading an article about ADHD burnout last night, and that was one of their suggestions!

I have been having a case of overall burnout, not just my adhd, but that i must say has been not helping at all.... What i have been trying to do is the following.
- 1. Find an activity to help you recharge your batteries (or in this case spoons)
2. Make a list you can take around with you
3. Try to not sweat the small stuff
4. Don't be so hard on yourself! It's not always your fault!
5. Dont forget to eat!
6. Try and get some sleep. Yes i Know it's hard!
