Hello I develop Mi Heart Rate app for both iOS and Android. Miband 2 support for iOS is in beta testing and will be in the official Appstore next week. Android should come in maz 2 weeks. - iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id1074341151 - Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inumbra.mimhr
I have no Mi Band 2 yet but from what I already saw You can only trigger one time HR measuring through the button or through the app. To have continuous You need third party app. And I am creator of the app called Mi Heart Rate :-) For Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inumbra.mimhr For iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id/1074341151

Hello guys, I am creator of Mi Heart Rate app. Thanks for mentining it. In case of any qustions let me know here in at App id available for iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id1074341151 and Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inumbra.mimhr
I would suggest You to try Mi Heart Rate app. In settings menu You can set e.g. awake assistant and Your Mi Band should vibrate each 1 min. or another time period You set. Or You can try setting heart rate alarm (Your MI Band 2 should vibrate if Your heart rate is higher than the set value - do not forget to start heart rate measurement after that). The app can be downloaded from: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inumbra.mimhr Please let me know if Your Mi Band has vibrated.
Hi, DnbVice, to get continuous (on iOS and on Android phones) or inteval (on Android) heart rate monitoring, use Mi Heart Rate app for iOS and for Android. It also has other cool features. Let me know how do You like it.

Hey, please also check Mi Heart Rate. We have a different approach. In real continous mode we assume it is not a problem to have incorrect measurment for few seconds. But when You decide to measure every 5 minutes or so we measure few times and do approximation to give the best result. Let me know how it works for You. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inumbra.mimhr
I would also add my baby: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inumbra.mimhr It is not the best yet but will be the best for the heart rate :-)
Let me know what do You think about it.
