I've updated watchfaces app to use it with MiFit 4.0.8
In a few minutes you can download the update from playstore ;-)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=paolo4c.mb4.watchfaces
Notify & Fitness for Mi Band. It's a good third-party app for the mi band but the user interface may be a bit confusing for new users
Mi Band Tools is probably the most popular (quick updates, responsive dev who's on this sub) - Well worth the money.
Mi Band Notify PRO is another option.
Can you be a little more specific on your concerns (i.e. what links don't work)? Also, what is your device being used?
If you have an Android device you can download Mi Fit from Google Play.
For iOS Mi Fit can be downloaded from iTunes
Keep in mind that when many people review apps they are quick to report things that don't work and put down a 1/5 rating. After the corrections are made they aren't likely to revise their rating despite things being fixed.
i'm not sure how well known is this, but with this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.rokitskiy.miband_watchface
adding a custom watchface is really easy. You can choose one from the app, or you can add your own.
I had resisted upgrading as well due to the reports. However, about a month ago, I switched to the official app in the store and use Mi Band Tools to set up notificaitons and haven't had a problem with either the official app or the firmware.
Although this notification app is not free, its been way more stable and consistent than any of the others I've used, even the old modded app. It has a ton more options and the dev frequents this subreddit.
Here is an chainese Android app from their popular forum focused on mi bands https://gofile.io/?c=FbmoIp Change language for a little bit of English from top right corner. You can add there any photo from left up corner choose default clock design. Yellow button will bring more customisation on the left. It's in chainese but it's pretty easy to workout. First four are time (one digit at time). When you hit Submit you will have options to save choose green button and download from browser this theme. You need to swap it. With the one you already downloaded through Mi Fit so go to Android / data/ Mi fit folder and find there folder "watch skin local" paste to one of the folders inside which are your watch faces. There are images of faces so you will have a clue which one you want to switch up. So paste bin file into one of the folders, copy long name of the original .bin theme there, delete it. Change name of pasted .bin to original copied one. Go to Mi fit and synch this watch face you were swapping. Done
There's an app called "Vibro Band" that allows you to control the band vibration intensity and pattern, even sync the vibration with your songs.
A sex toy in your wrist ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It's a bit convoluted, but here's how I'd do it on Android: I'm using AccuBattery to monitor my phones battery health. It has an option to notify when a specific battery percentage has been reached. It defaults to 80%, because that's the best point to stop charging for long term health, but you could set it to anything, so also to 100%. Then you could set Mi Band Tools (an app every Mi Band user on Android should have, anyways) to notify you whenever AccuBattery has given a "charged" notification.
As mentioned by others, choose either one of these notification apps. Well worth the $1 as they unlock some great functionality.
Mi Band Tools - Google Play Store
OR
Both work great but you only need 1 of the 2 as they do similar things.
If you want some additional info on accessories and other things check out (www.xmiband.com)
first, Aliexpress is not "very safe", you can get a lot of crap and fakes there since it's just a platform and not a reseller. 2nd, the 50% discount is not worth a penny (e.g. Gearbest: http://www.gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_126026.html) The MiBand is quite nice though.
Mi Fit only syncs steps and activities (and sleep, not that you can see it anymore!) not heart rate. You need Tools & Mi Band or Notify & Fitness for Mi Band
The current version of the Mi Fit app doesn't record HR for historical purposes. If you need that feature consider Mi Band Tools: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools
This app lets you measure and record HR at specified intervals, e.g. every hour. Keep in mind that setting short intervals may greatly decrease battery duration.
Some phones allow you to turn on Bluetooth while in airplane mode. You may want to experiment on your phone.
Alternatively newer releases of Android, 5 and 6, have a Do Not Disturb feature that lets you suppress some or all notifications at specified times, say from 11pm to 7am.
GSMArena wrote Xiaomi said it was a mistake and that they fixed it.
Maybe you just have to re-install it. Anyway all the official Xiaomi apps I found that *do* come with ads by default let you disable them in settings, try that if you see those annoying features elsewere.
I purchased two (first gen, obviously) Mi Bands on http://www.tinydeal.com/ and both were 100% legit in full packaging, but there are more shops which others could tell you about, I'm sure.
Recently I got Xiaomi Pistons v3 from http://www.gearbest.com/ and they are legit, and I'm waiting for a Xiaomi Power Bank from them, too.
You can use Notify For Mi Band (for Android only, download : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mc.miband1&hl=fr&gl=US)
I use it since my first Mi band, it work pretty well, offline and no ask to useless permissions !
Note that the Mi Band 3 supports approximately 150 characters per notification, with a maximum of 5 notifications.
You have approximately 750 characters to cheat with.
I use mi bandmaster + Tasker . I have mi band 2 but mi bandmaster support mi band 3 . Tasker allows you to create custom commands like double tap on mi band sets timer for 5min and triple tap turn on hotspot on my phone so that I can use internet on my iPad when I don't have wifi and much more. Both apps aren't free tho . Mi band master provides lots of other feature . Tasker was my first purchase on playstore and it's the best app I ever own
Mi bandmaster : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=blacknote.mibandmaster
Tasker: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm
Gadgetbridge looks really sexy. Is there any optional cloud support (can I sync to Google Drive or Dropbox for example?) and does it support notifications on the Mi Band 2.
I'm using the "standard" combination of official app plus Mi Band Tool for notification awesomeness at the moment:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools
Update: I gave Gadgetbridge a shot, lots of potential but at least with the Mi Band 2 it is nowhere near ready for productive use. Play Store absence, i.e. no automatic updates without root, is also a big negative for me.
Install the official app first:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
Play Store version works fine and comes with Google Fit sync. The off-Play Store version is occasionally more up to date but rarely less buggy, on the contrary. Not worth the hassle.
If you want to have better and more powerful notifications and some more powerful features, buy this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools
Use it in addition to the official Mi Fit app, it augments but does not replace it.
Enjoy.
Mi Band Tools is currently being updated to support it, but that doesn't help you now... I don't know of any apps that support it yet.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.rokitskiy.miband_watchface.
Go to the app Sort using download
With Battery : downloads. 4297 As shown in image : downloads 10941
I'm sorry it's a long list to search but you will get it
11/10/2019
I can't get the exact link of the watchface, however I used this app to get it. Here's the link, you can find it from there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.rokitskiy.miband_watchface
Edit: Thanks for your comments! Now I found the exact link. Here it is: https://amazfitwatchfaces.com/mi-band-4/view/8535
i have already created about 20 watchface and i can say for sure it is easier to install them on mi band through this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.rokitskiy.miband_watchface it will take less time and no need will install anything from the standard watchface but simply download from amazface and compile and than change everything
I haven't got it set up myself yet, but i'm pretty sure it's possible with Mi Band Maps plus some filtered customization of the notifications in Mi Band Tools.
if you're using Android, i recommend using the Notify & Fitness, it has a variety of exercises and you can share it with google fit, strava and ,other third party fitness apps(some features may need the pro version, but is worth the money).
You can use the Tools & Mi Band App for Sleep as android integration. Link. Works fine for me and you can also customize the hell out of notifications.
Afaik Notify & Fitness also has SaA integration. Haven't used it though.
On the contrary, you can. One of the most widely used tool is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools Since OP needs reading notifications from the band (and integrating the button with Tasker), it is worth to upgrade from miband 1 to 2. The battery drain of the phone is negligible if you do not care for the battery drain on the band. If your phone normally gets you through 12 hours (aka one day), you will still be getting around 10-11 hours. Own experience
Only when you activate it. (There's also an option for it to run periodically during sleep but I doubt that's what you're asking about.)
If you want to recod HR at specific intervals throughout the day then check out third-party apps like Tools & Mi Band – Android Apps on Google Play
For Android users there is Tools & Mi Band that have the smart alarm function, but Xiaomi removed it from the official Mi Fit app. The idle alert is there in the Play menu.
EDIT: Formatting and idle alert.
I had the same problem, I had to use another app to get the MiBand to bond with my phone.
On my Android I installed an app called nRF Connect, that shows all bluetooth devices attached to the phone, and look for MiBand's MAC-address, select it and tap "Bond", that added it to the Bluetooth list, and then I could use smart unlock.
Hello I develop Mi Heart Rate app for both iOS and Android. Miband 2 support for iOS is in beta testing and will be in the official Appstore next week. Android should come in maz 2 weeks. - iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id1074341151 - Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inumbra.mimhr
Oh nose :( I ordered one mi band from dealextreme: http://www.dx.com/p/xiaomi-waterproof-sports-smart-bluetooth-v4-0-bracelet-w-silicone-wristband-black-blue-372526#.VfKnvUa2U6U
after I red this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/miband/comments/3ck9qv/i_just_ordered_a_mi_band_from_dealextreme_dxcom/
and confirmed it's legit miband. Now I'm worried I'll get version without multicolor leds and sleep tracking :/ I own moto G 1st gen (without multicolor led) and one of the reason I bought this mi band was because it had multicolour leds. I really really hope I'll get the one with multicolor leds and also sleep tracking. Otherwise I'll return device as it's not functional as per advertising :(
Oh well I was so getting excited to get colour led notification (even if it's on my hand) but now I'm worring I'll get nothing functional.
Well maybe someone have extra mi band with colour leds and can sell me one?
EDIT: Yesterday I received mi band. It has colors and everything works as it should The first thing It did after installing english mi fit app was ugpgrading firmware. Currently I have 1.0.9.14. Then I installed Mi band tools (paid) and everything is wokring except alarm. I have to set alarm from Mi fit english version.
I have a metal aftermarket band that shouldn't expand from use ;)
It also holds the module more securely than the stock plastic band. Here's the one I have. There are several other styles available from that store. http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Replacement-Metal-Strap-Wrist-Belt-for-Xiaomi-Mi-Band---Miband-1S-Smart-Bracelets---Silver-364618.html
Edit: Note that some of these bands, including the one above, use screws to secure the module. The band I have is "screwless", using a clip that can be opened with a fingernail. See e.g. http://www.gearbest.com/watch-accessories/pp_312025.html and the photos in that link. This design is preferable because you can remove the module to recharge it without any tools or the risk of losing the screws.
Or better, install 3.4.6 It's the newest stable version (4 digits = beta, 3 digits = stable). It has also the newest firmware for MB3 included
Try downloading the newest MiFit App here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/xiaomi-technology/mi-fit/mi-fit-1-5-912-android-apk-download/
It should update the MiBand Firmware as well, maybe that works for you! My MiBand works absolutely fine with Android 5.1.1 (Nexus 5).
I would send them the link to the Xiaomi Mi Band website and point out that they are referencing photography for a product that does not match what they're selling.
They're selling this crap because they probably have a surplus and get them at about $6-7 a piece, whereas an genuine Mi Band would run a few dollars higher for wholesalers.
You can download the APK directly here: https://github.com/Freeyourgadget/Gadgetbridge/releases
But I would advise you install F-Droid: https://f-droid.org/ then use it to install gadget bridge. F-Droid is a FOSS software app store. Really awesome. You can be sure none of the apps you install are malware/adware.
If you just want to see your workouts and their data on Strava that's easy. Just download the Zepp app (assuming you are on Android, not sure if it is available on iOS) and login with the same account you use on Mifit. Instantly you'll see all your workouts and other information on Zepp, it is very similar to the MiFit app. Then just go into settings and select the option so sync with Strava. After that you can even uninstall Zepp and the sync will continue normally (because it doesn't run on the app but on their servers instead). Feel free to reach me if you need any help.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager
I really like this app, it has a few more options for faces (and better ones in my opinion): if you're using mi fit just click apply on your chosen face, alternatively if using notify (like me) just download it and choose the custom watch face option on the app and select the .bin file https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.rokitskiy.miband6_watchface
Since we are talking tasker stuff I'll share my project to browse reddit on the mi band (it supports multireddits and single subreddit, or the user front page).
https://www.reddit.com/r/miband/comments/gz8wzf/i_can_now_browse_the_reddit_homepage_from_the/
I also have one to stop or snooze a countdown timer done in multitimer it will display a fake call on the band where the hangout button kills the alarm and the other snoozes. The idea can be adapted to other timer apps easily and works great
Also made one to detect multiple media buttons presses but that got obsolete after notify implented itself, but I'm thinking of a way to set an allarm by counting how many presses you do on the play button, could be a great way to set a quick timer
Tasker with the mi band is the best...
Probably, Mi band 5 has it but you can't use it while workout(correct me if I wrong)
I recommend you download Intervaly on your phone it does the same thing, but you can set how many sets you want
Nope.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager&hl=en_US
I'm referring to the Amazfit App for recording stuff from your smart watch/band
If you want to use it just for the steps, save yourself the money and just use Google Fit, your phone probably already has a step sensor, you can check it with this app
great work my friend ! Can i add this wf to my android app ? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=paolo4c.mb4.watchfaces
If you are on Android and are lazy I would recommend this to apply custom themes, but the actual solution is to go to the website, find the theme you want, download the bin file, download one of the themes you don't want (I'm sure there is at least one), go to android/data/com.xiaomi.hm.health/watch_skin_local, open the folders until you find the one you don't like (each has a little preview image) then delete the bin file and replace it with the one you downloaded, but renamed to what the original was, then go into the mi fit app and apply that theme. Tbh I recommend the app
Edit: read that as a question!

Tools & Mi Band can export the heart rate to Google Fit
Pretty certain Notify & Fitness for Mi Band (which I don't use, but not because I don't like it!) can too!
I was in your boat for a while. Eventually, I reluctantly ordered the Mi Band 3 which I just received. One major advantage I'm liking so far is that you can look at (multiple) notifications on the watch long after they were received. On the Mi Band 2 I had notifications set up using Tools & Mi Band. It worked well, but if I wasn't able to look at the watch immediately when I got a notification I would have to check my phone instead. Now I can use my watch to view several notifications, which is great.
Another smaller advantage is that you can display both the time, date and step counter on the same screen.
All in all, I'm liking it so far. My biggest issue with it is the lack of icons for notifications. Hence there's no way to tell which app notifications came from (although I can mostly guess it).
This new (Hey+) device looks really interesting though, and seems to be what I was hoping the Mi Band 3 would be. I wasn't looking to upgrade again this soon but if reviews are positive and third party apps support it (especially Tasker), I'll probably go for it.
I realize this all sounds like a sales pitch. Part of the reason is I've only had the Mi Band 3 since yesterday and haven't fully made up my mind yet. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it.
I'm also fairly new to the Mi Band stuff. I feel like Notify & Fitness and Tools & Mi Band are the most popular 3rd party apps. I use the latter one to customize notifications and Sleep as Android integration. Haven't used Notify & Fitness though
We're talking about this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools&hl=en right?
It supports root to enable it to get authentication from Mi Fit for a more reliable connection; so unless this was way back then it only didn't like Lucky Patcher.
You can use the This App and start an activity.
Alternatively, you can turn on the continuous rate monitoring and discovery mode on. This will allow other apps to see it as a HR monitor. And from then I recommend using Moov which has HIIT programs that look into your heart rate and calculate calories properly.
you can do that with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools&hl=en
A couple others apps are also able to do it as well I believe.
That said I haven't found the HR monitor to be crazy accurate and turning on the continuous monitoring will burn through the battery in no time.
You just have to run it once then use the official app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mc.fixitformiband2&hl=en&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dmi+band+notify+fix+it&pcampaignid=APPU_1_Ph_dWJeFJ-KpjwSHuK_ADw
Get this app to control absolutely all notifications in greatest detail on your Mi Band 2. It supports absolutely everything and will even show scrolling text with the content of the notification on the Mi Band 2 is you so desire. It makes the Mi Band 2 a far more powerful tool for notifications than the competition.
Regarding steps: Yes, it does show less steps than the competition and even the old Mi Band 1. However, I actually found that more accurate - the Mi Band 2 appears to be much better at ignoring random, non-step related arm movements. As someone who prefers under- over overcounting, I'm happy with the Mi Band 2. And it's not like any fitness tracker actually shows the exact steps, it's all about showing a trend and self motivation rather than scientifically accurate measurements.
I'm also new to the mi band. Have you tried out mi and tools band? Supposed to be really good https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools&hl=en
Im either going to buy mi band or unlock fit and notification app but cant decide which one.
I use Battery Charge Notifier app, set on 85% (you can choose notification, vibration, sound, ...) and Mi Band Tools set to the app notification.
Not to be rude, but the name is in the screenshot "Notify & Fitness for Mi Band". I've used it for a long time but the dev kept adding stuff and trying to make it an all in one fitness app. This wasn't for me so I switched to "Mi Band Tools" but my SO is still using it just fine because she's used to it and doesn't want to change.
As I said not a bad app by any means it works as expected for the notification stuff, but I can't say much about the rest as I'm mostly interested in the notifacation features.
Here's the link --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mc.miband1&hl=en
It will show you time and estimated distance (based on your height I guess) of a run. I use a gps running watch and the miband is fairly accurate but not spot on.
Up until last app update there was also a mode "running helper" which I believe connected to the phones gps and gave a map and more detailed information after a run, but I never used it - required to bring you phone on runs as well.
Yes, all data is managed and viewed through the app Mi Fit. There is also an unofficial app (in beta) that can do a lot more than the official app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tincore.and.gliderun&hl=en
To sum up, I find the MiBand good as activity tracker and records my overall activity, not accurate enough as training companion for runs. But then I haven't tried the running helper nor gliderun.
I haven't tried this on Win8.1, although it should work fine; that said, you can try the android extractor instead (assuming you're using android!). I've got this set up to extract to a folder on my phone's internal memory, and then I use DropSync to monitor that folder and upload changes to my DropBox account.
GeekBuying has 500 units on sale now for US$22.89 http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Xiaomi-Mi-Band-2-Smart-Bracelet-with-OLED-Display-Touch-Key---Black-372112.html
GearBest charges US$24.89 http://www.gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_362705.html?wid=21
Get a No Screw Installation Milanese Style Steel Strap like this one for the 1S: http://www.gearbest.com/watch-accessories/pp_312025.html
I've had one of these for well over half a year. It's very easy to remove/replace the module for charging. No tools necessary. Yet the spring lock makes losing the module impossible. The band is very nice quality that gets more silky and supple as you wear it. Highly recommended.
They have a similar band for the model 2.
I already lost a 1 and a 1s. Came on here to see if I should worry about losing the 2. Looks like I should be.
Anyone try one of these? http://www.gearbest.com/smartwatch-accessories/pp_372602.html I wonder if it would work better. But they also made one for the 1/1s and that said anti-lost and this one doesn't mention that feature.
Loved the 1/1s when I had them, but would be extremely disappointed to waste money on a third lost device (granted they are inexpensive, but still).
I don't like the privacy implications either. My solution has been to use a throwaway account to register, then install Mi Fit and block all background and foreground data access [for the app]. You don't need internet connectivity to use the band, although it won't be synced to Xiaomi so you'll lose your stats if you wipe your phone or remove the app. This isn't a problem for me. I use CM13 and after logging in once, I blocked all WiFi and Cellular data access for the app through Settings -> Privacy Guard, and additionally, in Apps -> Mi Fit properties, 'restrict background data' and 'disable cellular data'. It's not an ideal solution, but it's close. I get all the features, fw upgrades, and have no worries about privacy.
Another great solution is Gadgetbridge, which is f/oss and undergoing some pretty active development. It's got all basic features. The data visualization isn't as pretty, but it works okay - you can also do the standard stuff like set alarms, get any notifications you like, sync, upgrade firmware, and so on. It's on F-Droid or you can download from the online repo. Strongly recommended; I tihnk it's the best alternative.
My Mi Band is the 1S and the metal band for it is:http://www.gearbest.com/watch-accessories/pp_312025.html. (You didn't indicate in the OP that you have a model 2.)
You're right that this band won't fit a model 2 but I'd imagine there will soon be third-party bands for that model. Also as I understand it, Xiaomi redesigned the plastic band for the model 2 so perhaps it now fits the wrist better and/or is less prone to move.
Before you buy a new band try sliding the band up the wrist a couple of cm and so that it's tight. See if that makes the readings more accurate and stable.
Added: It seems GearBest already has a stainless steel band for the model 2: http://www.gearbest.com/smartwatch-accessories/pp_372602.html. What's not clear from their description is whether any tools are required to remove/replace the module. The 1S band I linked to doesn't need any tools. Other designs use four tiny screws and require a screwdriver to remove the module for recharging.
havent used notify, but mi fit app ui is a bit more refined, and for mi band 6, gadgetbridge is yet to update the support for firmware, watchface, sp02 and stress level, but there is constant development for that, if there is any one who is good at android or java coding, please help them at gadgetbridge support page here https://codeberg.org/Freeyourgadget/Gadgetbridge/
That's nice! I do suppose it's worthy to note that they didn't get the IP68 rating, which shows that it couldn't survive in a lab environment. There are in fact nearly 300 openings on the device:
> Meticulously made in a 12-step process
> The 1mm thick aluminum alloy sensor surface is manufactured using a 12-step process. Compression molding, polishing and sandblasting give the metal sensor a smooth texture, while CNC milling adds shine to its edges. Three indicator lights, each 1 mm in diameter, are created using micro-laser perforation technology. Made up of 91 holes, each 0.02 mm across, each indicator is injected with UV adhesives to prevent dust from penetrating the device.
I guess it's true that it's cheap enough to replace, but there's a chance they pull this off the market in order to sell their overpriced successor Amazfit, which – sadly for me – solely targets women. Also has ⅓rd of the battery life. And only one color LED: white (just like the MiBand v1.1).
Ninja: Also… While it's cheap, having to buy new ones does build up the cost. For its price it's great, but if the price rises because you have to buy a new one quickly, it stops being 'fit for the price'.
Not quite sure, I handed over my old mi band 4 to my wife. But there is also in the Playstore an app called Mi Band 4: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.rokitskiy.miband_watchface
There are a lot of faces and categories, so you can browse and try to find similar, although you will not find exact same, as mi band 6 screen is bigger then mi band 4.
I had the same problem.
Install the free version of "Notify for Mi Band: Your privacy first" app and disable the alarms from there.
Here is the link from Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mc.miband1
Yes, Mi Band 5 offers tons of data. Steps, calories etc. Take a look at the screenshots of the Notify app. It's not an official app, but you get an idea what data is recorded with the Mi Band.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mc.miband1
There are colour options, but currently grey, black, and navy blue are out of stock.. Bought it from amazon india... Link s attached https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08MV1FTG1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_inzZFbW4Y6HHM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Or else u can buy it from aliexpress
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.weaponoid.miband5
Hey I don't know how to share it from the app. But it's the link to the app. You should find it there. There are two versions of it.
Oh, that's too bad, you could check out other band 4 watch faces made by the same developer, maybe you'd find one you like: https://amazfitwatchfaces.com/search/mi-band-4/authorID/104639
There's also a plethora of watch faces here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.rokitskiy.miband_watchface
I hope you find one you like!
Xiaomi has a one year warranty on their page for headphones. You just have to deal with them directly most likely. Amazon sells these for $35.. it's more expensive but I guess you get the added comfort of returnability..
Nesse aplicativo tem a versão em português, é a que eu uso: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=paolo4c.mb4.watchfaces Depois que instalar, pesquisa por esse código que sinalizei com a setinha na imagem do post
I can confirm it does work with Mi Band 4, but it replaces the firmware with a really old version
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager&hl=en
Not sure what app you linked there, but I have the official Amazfit app
Not a band fix but I have an app that repeats the notification on the phone at set intervals because like you I would forget about the notification
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.missednotificationsreminder&hl=en_US
I personally use Notify & Fitness: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mc.miband1
Worth every cent I paid for the pro version!
Here you go

Remember how you said that you replaced the bin of the WF? Try to sync that WF even if it shows wrong thumbnail it should sync the right bin
Or try this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.html.watchfaceinstaller
If you have Mi Fit 4.0.7 it will create a blank WF in the "library" where you would normaly see the downloadede WFs, and if you are on Mi Fit 4.0.8 and up read the pop up it gives you
Try this app to install watchfaces on the new MiFIt app

It's a different app. Notify & Fitness, by OneZeroBit, updated recently to make it work without the Mi Fit app. Tools & Mi Band (or Mi Band Tools), by Tools & Wearables Ltd does not work without the Mi Fit App. I've sent feedback to the developer about it and I'm currently waiting for a response.
Tools & Mi Band doesn't seem to work without the Mi Fit app
EDIT: To people downvoting me, Tools & Mi Band is not the same app as Notify & Fitness. The former doesn't work without Mi Fit, the latter does.
Notify & Fitness for Mi Band - the most rich-featured you can find for the moment. I love how many details it offers after each running session, without requiring a premium account, such as Endomondo.
I also wanted workouts (primarily running) synced to Strava from the Mi Smart Band 4 and this can be done on Android using the Notify & Fitness for Mi Band app with the "3rd party tracking" IAP. I'm still in the process of configuring this myself which is a little tricky as the app's UI is very hard to wade through due to so many features and settings for a ton of different things.
With the MSB4 being so new, I'm sure there will be fixes and new features coming for the app in the near future too.
As if you needed another reason to use an alternate app like Notify (which doesn't even require the official app) or Tools & MiBand (which works along side of the official app). I can't even remember the last time I looked at the official app.
I guess the best way to use Mi Band 3 is using Mi Band Tools so Google Fit can get the heart rate data and close the connection between Mi Fit app and Google Fit so the data remains strong.
Unfortunately this device won't be as smooth and useful as I thought it would when i bought it. My next fit band will have GPS and possibly be a Google device (if it has Google Play music it will be perfect).

Oh, the Mi Band Tools lets you configure it to do some interesting stuff, like smart alarms for sleep and so on.
There is an app available on Gplay allowing you to get gmaps navigation on the miband. That's an awesome little thing for bikers. I would recommend it vastly :) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.re.mibandmaps
I forgot to mention that I also have Mi Band Tools (Tools & Mi Band) for notifications. I think that one needs Mi Fit installed. (I may be wrong)
Tasker is another app that allows you to automate things on your phone. I really don't know what it is you are wanting to accomplish, but within Tasker, you can have a time based task that executes every 45 minutes, and upon execution, you can buzz the MiBand with text that you choose.
Tasker is not necessarily for beginners, but come visit the group over in /r/tasker if you need some help.
Hello,
I developed an app that do what you want. You can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.re.mibandmaps
Regards
I used this application in the past with my MiBand2 with some success: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xtracer.miband2funcbutton&hl=en_US
There's a thread talking about using it with the MiBand3

You also need this app for the band to work with Sleep as Android. But my experience with it is great. It picks up all the moments I wake up and gives great insight into your sleep patterns.
> I need a separate heart rate chart for each fitness session, is this possible or is it a continuous chart?
Most applications use a continuous chart. Mi Fit allows you to say "I'm going to go running" but nothing splits charts automatically.
> Can it track beats per second (instead of per minute)?
I know of no consumer devices (off the top of my head) that actually have this accuracy and granularity (even chest strap monitors use BPM). Most anything giving seconds is likely taking the BPM and dividing.
>Does it need to be connected to a smartphone during the fitness session?
If you want real-time heart rate data, yes. Without an App the band is limited in the intervals it can check at. (IIRC: 1min, 10min or 30min)
> If it doesn't need to be connected to a smartphone during tracking, how many sessions can its memory hold approximately? (I just need to know if the memory is really limited or not)
The memory is limited, it is not intended to be used separate from the app for any real length of time. The commonly accepted answer is that the band can store 10-15 days without being connected to the app. But that may decrease with higher intervals.
> Can I export the heart rate charts outside of the app?
With applications such as Notify & Fitness or Tools & Mi Band you can. I'm not aware of the iOS offerings but I know on that platform it is more restricted.
Id reccomend Mi Band Tools, its a paid app but worth it in every way.

Im not sure about the automatic week reminders, but then after that you could use an app Called Tasker, which definitely would be able to do that and it integrates with Mi Band tools to put whatever you want on the screen, where you have full control over thje top header and content of every notification and the vibration type even how its dismissed.

Id strongly recommend it.

also got it a few days ago. I am no trying this app. it offers a lot more functionality.

Something I noticed, the heart rate sensor seems to run a little hot, do you also feel this?
It's this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools
It's a little more expensive than most apps, but it's incredibly powerful (it does quite cool things like showing you who sent you a message).
You can set the language manually in the Notify & Fitness for Mi Band Android App (Play Store). For changing the language I think you won't even need the premium edition.
