Can you be a little more specific on your concerns (i.e. what links don't work)? Also, what is your device being used?
If you have an Android device you can download Mi Fit from Google Play.
For iOS Mi Fit can be downloaded from iTunes
Keep in mind that when many people review apps they are quick to report things that don't work and put down a 1/5 rating. After the corrections are made they aren't likely to revise their rating despite things being fixed.
Install the official app first:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
Play Store version works fine and comes with Google Fit sync. The off-Play Store version is occasionally more up to date but rarely less buggy, on the contrary. Not worth the hassle.
If you want to have better and more powerful notifications and some more powerful features, buy this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools
Use it in addition to the official Mi Fit app, it augments but does not replace it.
Enjoy.
I meant the companion app, Mi Fit.
Xiaomi have two version of it, one of them has Google Fit integration, the other one doesn't (but have faster updates).
It is on the Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health), and it should work for trusted devices according to the description.
The modified .apk flying around just add the "vibrate on notifications" feature.
The Mi Band 2 does not work with many apps, in fact, it's barely compatible with anything.
Here's the official Mi Fit app, and the best, paid third-party app.
You don't have the official app installed, do you? Mi Band Tools is good, but you must install the official app in order to update your band's firmware.

You download the other version in the miui.com forum (link to the latest thread)
Quote (bold added by me): > The Latest Version has a lot of added functionalities but Does Not support 'Sync with Google Fit'. If you are one of those who have been using/syncing data with Google Fit, then you Might rather Update to Version 2.2.7 from Google Play here.
It shipped faster than the version in the Google Play Store though...
Strange. It should be there.
Yes I'm on Android.
✅I'm using this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
❌Not this

Strange... My one looks just like the one in the google playstore with the orange accents

In order to pair it you need to install the mi fit app, it also lets you choose what apps you want to get notifications from
This is the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
Have you tried Mi Fit app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health&hl=en
I own a Mi Band which is delivering data to Pokemon Go through Mi Fit app. The app itself allows to count travel distance without a Mi Band, that's how I got Pocophone F1 to start tracking it in the first place. I'm not sure about Google Fit as I never used it before
I have the same phone and my band last 18/20 days. Try to remove all the apps that use the band (disconnecting the band before inside every app), recharge the band to full and then pair it only with the original app -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
If the battery drain so fast even using only the original app the best idea is to return it and requesting a new one.
You will need a charging cable similar to this: http://www.gearbest.com/watch-accessaries/pp_144352.html
You will also need the Mi Fit app, either Android or Apple, e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
Usage information should be fairly obvious from the app. There's also links to a FAQ and other information on the right side of this page.
There has been lots of conversation regarding app. E.g. from here.
When it comes down to it, if you want ONE app, you're either using Mi Fit or Notify & Fitness.

Got added to play store again.
There appear to be three Android options for the Bip:
Mi Fit is the official app. The other two are third party, and cost a few bucks each (I think about $5-$10).
Notify and Fitness seems focused on fitness reporting (not surprising, given the name); if you're using the Bip as a fitness tracker, that's probably the one to go with.
Tools and Amazfit seems to push the smartwatch aspect more - programmability, notifications, that sort of thing.
So far as I know, they are both Android only.
I have no idea what are you talking about. Here is app for Mi Band https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
Update application to latest version and connect band to mobile and complete firmware update
You don't need app vault, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health
Xiaomi fit/health
It there just download and see if you can able to add the hardware then it's very easy to port all data from there to Google Fit.
Thanks for trying to help, but actually the one you showed is the 'Mi Fit' app sleep tracker. Yes that one works fine for me as well, along with 'Notify & Fitness' app sleep tracker also works well.
My question was for a different app 'Sleep as Android' because it has a wearable integration with Mi Fit. To be honest I guess I should have been asking in the app subreddit instead of the mi band subreddit haha
Just to clarify, is this the app?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.hm.health&hl=en
It's showing for me, here's the link.
Your Wishlist
I use Notify & Fitness since it combines the features of Tool & Mi Band and Mi band 2 Music & Call Manager. Best to test it out, and refund within 2 days if not satisfied.
More info on r/miband sidebar, dev post of Tool & Mi Band,
uparena s narukvicom
That one? Weird, works for me.
EDIT: your phone isn't set to chinese, by any chance?
It's the Mi Fit App that syncs with a Mi Band:
The original app is Mi Band, Mi Fit is the modded version
