Facebook has always experimented on its users in a variety of ways, and it not only spies on its users, but also gives the NSA direct access under the Prism programme.
Facebook will never change. But you can be the change and not be subject to psychological experiments, censorship, etc with my feature rich app.
Your friends and you may find this useful. Feature rich, free and all that stuff, without all the psychological experiments, censorship, ministry of truth, etc.
You can put a stop to it all, just by using my feature rich app.
The problem is, do YOU want to put a stop to it by moving away from these platforms?
They have no power if everyone moves away en masse.

Anonymous/Registered Forum here
Don't mind making a conspiracy one, if folks are interested.
But ultimately, should use my app's user private forum function.
Reddit is a private company, so it does as it pleases. Including censorship.
ASC is also a private company, but it will not censor you for your views.

Help me, help you. Win-win.
Please, don't be sorry for "butting in". We're all here for a discussion.
TLDR: I did not write anything that you can't think of, really. Did not expect to be this long.
Personally, I live a frugal life, and I resist The Powers That Should Not Be by putting my life and career on the line to create and maintain a P2P end to end secure communications program that is more feature rich than any program out there. While I'm not the 1337-test in the world, I'd like to think that I'm pretty 1337. I hope that you would take a minute or two to check it out and spread the word, instead of continuing to submit yourself to invasive apps like Skype, Whatsapp etc that have been shown to be joined at the hip to the NSA by providing them direct access under the Prism programme.
Demos - App - Features - Site Much of my cyber security writings & anonymous forum. I'm not much of a marketing guy, so I bet you have not heard of me, but lacking unlimited funds from NSA (unlike some other companies) my avenues for outreach are extremely limited.
For the second question, the world should wean off from the Federal Reserve Dollar and remove the reserve currency and petrodollar statuses. This would allow the US to be much more competitive while allowing China and other countries to give their people a better life. This would also cause US companies to move back once the US population is sufficiently competitive. Tariffs, threats and whatnot are destructive policies, I believe that a win-win and constructive type of policies are better than destructive ones if for no reason other than destructive policies breed enmity and increases global tensions. I believe that this free competition is in line with the "free market" ideology.
However, it is also my belief that low skilled jobs would be completely eliminated by automation eventually, especially with the miniaturisation of technology and the proliferation of the usage of AI algorithms (not exactly "iRobot" or "Terminator" type, but self learning algorithms are broadly classified as "artificial intelligence"). Even in China, the factories are increasingly automated and the Chinese workers are getting screwed because the owner can just turn on the power and it will work 24/7 without mistakes and without stopping for food/water/break/sleep. It would be best if mankind advances technology enough to make robots do work while the humans are the masters that work because they have an interest in something instead of making ends meet. Unfortunately, not everyone is benevolent and malicious people in power would rather kill and enslave the "useless eaters" than share the wealth created by automation.
It is also my belief that in order to increase knowledge and skills all countries should remove all Arts-related courses and focus on the Sciences. Sure, the modules can be added on as an elective, but taking them as a major is undesirable because they do not impart real skills to the student. I was actually surprised that "Women's Studies" is a real thing in the US the first time I heard about it.
In any case, weaning off the Federal Reserve Dollar would have much impact on the US population, because if the world were no longer using the Federal Reserve Dollar as the reserve currency and petrodollar, it would no longer be able to create trillions out of thin air for Big Oil's wars, and to hand them to the Military Industrial Complex, which also creates many high skilled and technical jobs (aerospace, avionics, precision guidance systems, etc). The world would therefore, be more balanced economically and militarily, because every party would have to face the consequences of hyperinflation should they spend like how the US is spending today. I'd like to see settlements between countries be done by gold and silver as well, because honest money gives one more confidence than funny money.
I would also very much like the US, and all the countries in the world, use the military to get rid of the 13 Illuminati families, instead of killing normal people globally to make rich men richer. For the US internally, Americans may want to educate its population to stop electing descendants of King John of England to be President. US has just inaugurated the 45th President, but out of the 45, 44 were King John's descendants, and the exception is not Trump.
While I condemn CBS for doing it, I can't exactly blame them. As noted by the more perceptive people on this sub, CBS was likely to face a lot of pressure from above the moment they posted the video.
I personally hope that Ben Swann is not going to be screwed in any way - either in terms of his contract, CBS removing his programme altogether, or be suicided. Him, Sam Sacks, Abby Martin, including the usual like Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, as well as the late-Michael Hastings are some of the best journalists the world has seen yet.
Ultimately, Ben Swann should go back to RT instead of staying with the American corporate fake news media. There are not many journalistic organisations left. TruthDig, TruthOut, We Are Change and The Intercept are good, but RT has some serious viewership supporting it. Its most recent censorship by FB further confirms that RT is on the right path.
As I have stated before, PizzaGate is not something that many want to touch, because of the people it implicates. Therefore, it would be best if all research done by independent researchers were done using a privacy and security oriented application in which all user communications are P2P with end to end encryption (except the IRC function which is similar to Twitter), with no user generated content stored server-side.
Guys, instead of voting down or something, reply with your concerns, comments, and the like. Engage with me and let me help you, everyone in the truther community and beyond.

OK, ladies and gentlemen...
I will point out that I offer everyone an open forum to discuss general stuff here, and cyber security stuff here. You may post as a registered user, or as an anonymous user.
Should you guys want to do investigative stuff and want to share info but are worried about censorship (which may need to be done in the face of lawsuits from billionaires), you can use my feature rich P2P app with a discussion function. It is a private forum that is moderated by the OP.
All P2P communications, other than the IRC, dating and taxi features, are encrypted end to end and only the intended recipients would be able to decrypt it. Additionally, no user generated content are stored server side.
This helps everyone - I don't get sued or anything, and you guys are responsible for whatever you post and have your own private forum in which you moderate your own stuff.
You can view the list of features here and watch the demos here.
If you encounter bugs, you can report it via the app, or here.
Surveillance can not be limited. However, you can make them not understand what was said with cryptography. With my feature rich app (all features) all communications are encrypted and no data are stored server-side.
You can also keep your devices inside shielded pouches so that all connections are cut until you take it out of the pouch. But that kind of defeats the purpose of having a cell phone.
You won't need to worry about any "war on encryption" if you use my feature rich app and help share it.
I'm in this fight and censored in some places, and ignored in many others. Whether you choose to be a pioneer simply by deciding whether a simple click to the install and share buttons are too much trouble or not, represents how concerned and serious you are, and resolute you are in this war on the people worldwide.
The result of less security is manifold:
They know what you are saying, obviously. And with the NSA, Stingray, and even cell phone tower access (under Prism), they know where exactly you are. They no longer need to pretend to get warrants, request from other companies, and Prism would be a programme to provide redundancy because they would be able to directly backdoor the encrypted communications.
By inferencing your social media feeds, your Reddit posts here, locational information, friends, etc, they will be able to put you on lists. Many lists. Remember that Pompeo, the CIA director, wants a mass surveillance state and a convenient easy to use searchable database that puts everything together.
How many still remember the fact that NSA intercepts nude pics and sends them around organisation for laughs and entertainment?
Will the other hackers know how to use the crypto backdoor? Think having the NSA send your pic around the office is bad? Wait till it's sent around the world.
NSA has previously tried to weaken cryptography by making weak random number generators available for general use. If this happens again, encryption would no longer be secure because random number generators are quite an important component in the whole thing.
Once the cryptographic scheme is broken, all communications between 2 parties is suspect. The government would, with the help of service providers, be able to add/edit/remove communications between users.
Your secrets, including business secrets, will be open to the government. Have an innovative idea but you are still recruiting friends to help you in a common cause? Once the government gets wind of the idea, they will use your idea and get to market faster than you.
When they say "national security", is it really national security, or are they all just voyeuristic scum?
People can keep screaming that they want change, but if they are not willing to change themselves and take charge for once, there will never change.
Trump's victory proves this. Although he's hailed by the masses as somebody that will drain the swamp, he brought in 5 GS execs, warmongers (no surprise if you know who're in his campaign in the first place), and is doing all sorts of crap now. Starting with the raid in Yemen and threatening Iran, a country that has been fighting terrorists the US backs in every way. There are more people that identify themselves as an "Independent" in the US, but people were unwilling to change who they vote for - the usual 2 corporate-funded parties.
Every other day, I come across people that say that Reddit, Twitter, Facebook etc are rigged in some way, or in some way shadow banning or censoring people.
And every other day, I tell people that I offer a solution. An anonymous forum for you to post whatever you want, and a feature rich app with Twitter-like features to connect to the world, securely communicate with friends, manage projects, etc. No user-generated content from the app are stored server side for maximum privacy and security.
And today, again, I will tell people the same thing as I do every time I come across posts like that.
I have the solution. You just need to take part in it.
If you have questions, ask.
Guys, check out my app. One of the many features is a P2P private forum. OP is moderator. I have no access to whatever stuff you write because of the many layers of crypto. Ah, remember to set it not to delete if inactive. https://authenticsecurecomputing.com/ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asc.mobilenode
For those that don't want to install app, you can use my forum. https://authenticsecurecomputing.com/forum/1/1
You can choose to post anonymously or register as a user.
Just because you want to be private and secure, does not mean that you have to live like a caveman after ditching facebook/skype/whatsapp et al and be cut off from the rest.
If you still use US-based internet giants for those messaging apps, there's a high chance that you're still spied on. Especially when NSA has direct access to their IT systems.
Check out my app, or the basic version without GPS functionalities, it is feature rich, and all user generated content are only kept on the users' devices.
Privacy and security has to be taken holistically, and I provide them plus all the features that people want to use to stay connected.
Authentic Secure Computing provides a secure feature rich P2P app that respects your privacy. In fact, no user generated content are stored server-side. Using the app, the user can create forum threads to discuss and share info with his contacts, and be the moderator.
Once again, all P2P communications are encrypted and ASC is not privy to the communications, and no user generated data are stored server-side.
I also have an anonymous/registered forum that all are welcomed to use.
First, read my article here: Surveillance, Experimentation and Censorship abound. Move on!
Secondly, understand how your information may be inferred: Inference Attack from Privacy Stripping Apps
TLDR: Uninstall Facebook, and all other apps that are linked to facebook (like whatsapp).
The problem is not just the microphone. It's also about the relationships and what information they can mine from you.
I offer a secure and private alternative. Download App here and share it with everyone you know. See features here
I welcome general discussions @ here.
For serious discussions that may get anyone into trouble (including myself), I have a secure P2P communications app that is more feature rich than any app out there (to the best of my knowledge) that people like yourself can use to talk to each other in a private forum setting (after adding either in groups and/or as a contact). I am not privy to such communications and the OP is the moderator.
Graphic with list of features here - YouTube demos
Do help to spread the word.
And this is a reminder that ASC exists.
There have been many instances of Voat censoring posts, and posts here on Reddit talking about the censorship.
I offer a feature rich app that uses end to end encryption to secure your confidential communications. The discussions feature is the P2P private forum that's moderated by the OP. So if you get censored there, it's the OP that's doing it.
Watch the Demos here and visit the website here. All features here
You may also use the anonymous/registered forum.
How to find each other... I have a IRC functionality that works like Twitter (but I do not store any user messages, so you will see it only if you're online and have the function on).
(ps: i've fixed a connection problem that existed earlier... so it should be fine now)
If you are really concerned about that, do give my feature rich app (basic) a go and spread the word to your contacts/friends. Unlike everyone, no user-generated content are stored server-side.
If everyone mean what they say when it comes to all these spying stuff, and act on it, Big Data will implode.
Yes, Big Tech is not your friend.
Those concerned about censorship or privacy can use my anonymous/registered forum, or app that lets you be the moderator for discussions with your contacts/group. All user generated content are kept in the users' device only. The app features cover most stuff that people need, and the apps/companies that offer those features are known to use the app to spy on the users.
Unfortunately, people just keep talking about Big Data stealing information, listening to microphone and watching you through the cams without you knowing. But how many of you are personally willing to make the change, and share it with your contacts/friends?
