Hello again. I'm actually in Manchester so probably not too far if you wanted to buy me a kebab!
Anyhow I had a similar experience with a girl 10 years ago. Long story but in hindsight I realised that love is a very complicated emotion, I felt hopeless without the person then but time moves on and you realise you can too. Watch a film called 2046...
Anyways... It might help to engage in some counselling type therapies. There are many online you could use which don't have person to person interaction.

If you don't want to involve your GP then charities like MIND offer free counselling services.
I'd definitely recommend trying to partake in as many social encounters as possible, however reluctant you may be. An ideal one is praying in the masjid.
And most importantly, have you had a conversation with Allah? Go sit somewhere private, then complain to Allah about your predicament.
There is a technique for changing the thoughts you have about other people. Use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to challenge the anxious thoughts. What is the worst possible thing people could be thinking? Do you know that people are thinking that and what evidence do you have? If you believe you know what they are thinking without evidence, that is the mind-reading fallacy. Eventually this should get better.

This is not a replacement for professional help but it is a place to start.
