Back to original problem. I know there was a way to play Tegra exclusive games using GlTools (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.n0n3m4.gltools). I know about that because I tried it out in past but couldn't get it working because of my device. There's this very old tutorial for emulating Tegra GPU but I don't know how relevant it is today (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2770105). If you have just problems with Android update you'll have to google around or search on XDA for similar issues.
