The Gameloft game is pretty good, though it has two major downsides.
Downside the first; the in-app purchases are massively expensive, watch out for that.
Downside the second; the game has quite a few bugs (nothing usually game-breaking, I'm talking about things like suddenly and unexpectedly falling through the track in the mine minigame) and customer care gives the impression of being far too swamped to properly deal with much.
Aside from that, it's a good game.
Oh, and it has its own subreddit: /r/MLPIOS
Your daughter might also be interested in this game. It has no in-app purchases (though it does work with certain pony toys, the ones with little hearts on their legs, you don't really need the toys). It's far less complicated than the gameloft game, being basically a "tea parties with ponies" game (literally), with no in-app purchases and no bugs that I've yet been able to find. Probably perfect for a five year old girl.
Why would we want to? Is it not better to build people up than break them down?
> The only MLP game existing.
Hasbro has put out a couple of MLP mobile games as well. Unfortunately, they seem a good deal less popular and have a good deal less content and nowhere near as frequent updates - but, on the plus side, they don't have Gameloft's rapacious prices, either.
