208.67.222.222 is one of the IPs for OpenDNS, which I'm guessing the exe forwards the irrelevant requests to it so you can still use the internet on your device without going back and forth with settings.
The official word seems to be "to protect children from online interactions". And according to the FAQ, hearts will no longer be used in the game. WTF?
Oh, here's a link to a Gameloft MLP forum post with more info:
If your only backup is through the itunes software, then you're basically screwed as far as I know. There are ways to save individual app files using programs like i-Funbox.
As far as the bans go, we knew that data was being sent to gameloft concerning gem counts and actions performed some time ago, and it was advised that hack users should not make their changes too drastic. I'm sure gameloft would like nothing more than keeping 'cheat flags' a secret, so unless banned people kept track of how much they altered their games(gem/coins/etc. added), there isn't any real way to tell what the ban criteria is.
If you're brave enough, go for it! I think most people aren't interested in becoming legally liable by hosting a public version.
For anyone that does want to host publicly, don't run PonyLiberator.exe, or even a modified version of it.
Instead,
Run a real DNS proxy daemon with a custom hosts file so that it responds to requests for vshop.mdc.gameloft.com with your own IP address, while forwarding all other requests to a real dns service so that all the other Gameloft servers still work.
Run an http daemon which serves up the price list of your choice at /partners/offline_ingame/item_list.php
I used Acrylic DNS Proxy and HFS ~ Http File Server while prototyping to test proof-of-concept, before developing the all-in-one version of the final cheat. Just use whatever is equivalent for your server's OS.
It would vary quite a bit depending on which program it was. Whenever I see big name software products with an open web server, they usually contain a ton of marketing gunk and product branding on its homepage, making it easy to tell which program is doing it.
Since that didn't help this time, you should be able to run a tool like TCPView to get a full list of all open sockets on your computer, make sure the option "show unconnected endpoints" is turned on, then sort by "local port" and scroll down until you see a row that has local port "http", state "listening", then look over in the process column and you'll see which exe is sitting on the port.
Go here for the program http://cheatengine.org/downloads.php. I'm in the process of making a tutorial video. If you've already used tsearch, then CheatEngine will feel familiar. I'll edit this post with a link to the video when it's done.
The thing to keep in mind is that the element shard and wheel values are grouped closely to each other. For the element shards, they're grouped four addresses apart, IE XXXXXXC0, C4, C8, CC, D0, D4, where "XXXXXX" represents the first six digits of the address. If the last element address ends in "EX" or "FX", search for the mine cart wheels in the next grouping, IE if the last shard address is XXXXX1EX, search up to "XXXXX2FF".
Hope that helps.
To quote the OP:
> If you only have one IPv4 address, it will be selected automatically. If you have more than one, select your private LAN IPv4 address.
No, this guy didn't get one, so it's not guaranteed.
However, consider that you can play the sapphire pop somewhere around four times for the same cost as getting one guaranteed pony; and from what I've heard, it seems that you've got very good odds of getting something - a pony or a shop - every time.
I spent my first 500 sapphires on the balloon pop, along with six gems on extra pops, and I got a new shop in Canterlot for my troubles. I consider that a well-spent 500 sapphires, and will be spending my next 500 on the balloon pop as well.
Aside from waiting for a new update, I don't know how to fix it, unfortunately.
I think I heard something about a bugfix update turning up in the next few days. I don't hold great hopes for it, but you never know, they might actually be able to fix this one?
In the meantime, I'd recommend leaving the game alone. If you overwrite your cloud save, they won't be able to roll you back if the bugfix update doesn't work as it should.

I'm pretty sure it's referring to upcoming features...
Yeah, there are reasons why I don't pay for the in-game real-money things.
I don't blame you in the least for quitting; though you might enjoy looking up the Hasbro Equestria Girls game. It's got way less content (and isn't hard to play right through to the end without spending anything) and way less predatory pricing. It's also on the other side of the mirror, so it's humans and not horses...
I believe the vine should be focusable if you mess with the DPI of your device through a tool like Resolution Changer Power Menu. I managed to focus it once when I was still figuring it out for the minecart game, but I didn't click the "Clear", and afterwards, as I finally figured the resolutions for minecart, I never got to focus the vine again.
I had the misfortune of reinstalling the game (unaware that it would erase my save data entirely) a few days before this new update. Luckily I have more than enough cheat money to get everything back, but there's apparently a new bug (at least I never saw it before now) that will sometimes cause the game to repeatedly send push notifications about a single pony arriving, so my phone is going to be looking like this for the next week or so: https://www.dropbox.com/s/u0mfvub7r0c152v/2013-02-07%2020.52.50.png
I like Lyra and all, but this is a bit ridiculous.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jee.timer
-once you get your marks on this app, go to the settings, then "default settings for new timer" so you don't have to change everything each time you make a new one.
-If you make a whole "mlp gameloft" group, make sure to toggle off the setting that plays the next timer when one is done.
-be sure to check the right "timer alarm display" setting to avoid having a pop up in the middle of you playing mine kart or something like that, if I were you I'd go for "simple notification".
-the ads only occur when you are on the app, not in notifications, but they tend to toggle when you're trying to stop or set a timer. Sometimes I just toggle my WiFi off so I can manage them in peace.
-each timer has a minus and a plus buttons, set by default to 15 seconds iirc. A long push allows you to change it to any number you want, and seconds, minutes or hours. That's particularly welcome for the group quests as you can shorten them with ads.
This is obvious, but I don't recommend to use it to wake up every 2 hours. Put your phone in silent mode, don't toggle the app's "ignore silence mode" in Timer settings and set your audio input to "notification". Use this app as indicative and don't get obsessed with it. I often see a timer went off and I'm like "meh, I'm not in a hurry with this one, I'll wait until there is more to do".
I believe if it was never connected, you did, unfortunately, love everything...but if it was connected and it just isn't giving you your progress for some reason, you should probably go to the gameloft support (as opposed to emailing them directly). You'll have better luck getting anything done through there.
This is where I go for anything I need.
Well, yes, it's got a whole lot of data to re-download.
...on the bright side, given that you're on iOS, I think it's likely that you just downloaded the bugfix update.
Try this form (link originally found here)
You need to make sure that both apps are on the same update, then you should be able to use http://www.i-funbox.com/ to copy and replace these files into the larger iPad.
Documents | pony_save_prime.dat |
---|---|
fte.dat | |
Library/Preferences | com.gameloft.mylittlepony.plist |
This should allow you to continue your game if you are still using the same gameloft id. There might also be some online save-backup service for the game, but I haven't looked into it enough to be sure.
My iPhone version has done this a few times. I've been able to fix it without having to restore a backup from iTunes by using iFunBox.
Start iFunbox while the phone is connected by usb.
Click the "Managing App Data" tab.
Click "Click to Show All" under "All My Apps".
Click the "MyLittlePony" icon.
Double click the "Documents" folder.
Delete every file in that folder except for "mlp_save.dat".
It's probably best to copy all the files in that folder to your computer first for an extra backup.
To access the filesystem, aparrently even on non-jailbroken iOS devices, you can use iFunBox. I've not had any issues with it thus far (but, I have an iPhone 4, and it is jailbroken, and still way back on iOS 5.0.1).
Download "ROOT BROWSER" in the Play Store Download the hack archive for new game version(1.8.0):http://www.4shared.com/zip/CEfrBrcqba/Lottery_gems_MLP_180.html Open the root browser,go to paste sdcard/download look for the archiver that will be in zip with the mouse click on the file (Click and stay with your finger on the mouse for about 5 seconds) After several options will appear: Copy, rename etc, click copy, then at the bottom of the app will appear: Paste and Cancel.clique the green arrow at the top of the app (Picture of arrow): http://imgur .com / fLgNXtq Click and go back to where estaav the sdcard folder, click me sdcard / android / data / com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftPOHM (Game paste) / files, and click PASTE, exit the game and enter again, and check the game BALLON POP!
GPG doesn't officially connect to the game in the US, due to COPPA.
Your best bet is to setup Helium. You need a computer with Google Chrome browser and your phone's USB cable. Use the Chrome app (link in the store page). This is the method I have found that works for transferring / backing up your data. It's also free.
It's this one if you're on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftPOHM
I don't have the link for IOS, but I guess you can find it by searching for MLP and Gameloft.
for tapping on the box i simply used
adb shell input tap 801 519
but for tapping on yona 10 times, since it needs to be fast and low delay i used the method here which is too long to write
this is when my phone was connected to the computer, sometimes i just needed my phone to tap automatically without being connected to the computer so i used BotMaker and it ran :
input tap 801 519
keep in mind these coordinates are specifically for my phone :) you can use the option "pointer location" in developer options to get the coordinates
if you want to do it without root, you can use the adb method but you need to have it connected to a computer
The app Helium allows you to make manual backups of apps without root access, provided you have access to a computer. It's free, too.
This might be da wae you're looking for. XD
> The only MLP game existing.
Hasbro has put out a couple of MLP mobile games as well. Unfortunately, they seem a good deal less popular and have a good deal less content and nowhere near as frequent updates - but, on the plus side, they don't have Gameloft's rapacious prices, either.
I use Helium. Backup to a microSD is free, backup to cloud services like DropBox or Google Drive is part of the premium app.
