I have been using this at the club and it has kind of gone viral (half the shooting line was using it on Monday): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.dreier.mytargets&hl=en
It has a number of cool features, like showing groupings for a round and graphing your average arrow score per end. I don't know if it is helping me improve per se, but I find it pretty motivating to track my improvement and even within a round, I enjoy seeing my average arrow score
Just adding to what others have already said:
You can track your progress in a quantifiable way by using score sheets. There is Archery Scoresheets on IOS and MyTargets on Android, just to name a few. These apps have some extra functionality, like recording equipment settings, but they do very well in tracking your score progress.
As far as learning about other equipment and the archery technique, those videos you screen shot will definitely help. But sometimes you have to know what you're looking for (e.g., proper form) when searching for videos. Other times, just random knowledge can come from archers you meet. Joining an archery club will also do you wonders.
Just take your time and learn as you shoot. Even the most knowledgeable archers today started out as beginners too.
MyTargets for Android is what I use. Loads of targets, all distances and keeps track of your scores. Doesn't exist for iOS though if you use that.
There's a mathamagical formula that takes target size, distance and number of arrows shot and evens it out. You tell the organizer what you are shooting, he puts it in the spreadsheet and it calculates everything.
I try to shoot at a range, but I can shoot 20 yards in my back yard if I need to.
This is the app I use:

Artimis Lite is another popular one.
I use MyTargets Archery, it does everything I need it to scoring-wise, and pretty well at that. Maybe have a look at that for inspiration?
My Targets has most of the features you're looking for.
An Android app: MyTargets: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.dreier.mytargets&hl=en
