There's an app on Android that I use on a spare phone. I have my maps for navigation downloaded for offline, but there is a Strava app (More of a widget) that quick starts your ride. It's good because I find it a pain to launch Strava and navigate, etc. This you just tap and go.
I can't recall exact name, but it you search Strava on play store, it pops up in the feed or under Similar apps.
Edit: One tap for Strava is the name Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onetapstrava
There's an app that exists only to launch a Strava activity recording:

There are also automation tools like Tasker and AutomateIt that can take advantage of Android's activity recognition features to either launch the One Tap Strava app or trigger the same method directly in Strava. These can also control other features
That method was created for NFC control of Strava, so you could go totally nuts and set up an NFC tag on your bike that would start recording. You'd just tap your phone on the tag and then start riding.
If you get Strava for your phone, install the Strava one tap widget. Makes life a lot easier
I keep One Tap Strava on my homescreen. Does what it says on the tin.
