Link for the curious. I've found this app to be more reliable than AfterShip. The latter has frequently reported incorrect information, like wrong status or location.
I'm using ParcelTrack. It supports many shippers and automatically detects shippers if you have the tracking number copied to your clipboard when you open the app.
Only issue I have seen (that I have seen in other tracking apps) is that some foreign shippers that hand off to local postal service can be tracked until the package enters your local country and then it stops updating. At that point you have to track using the same tracking number but switch to your local postal service as the shipper.

ParcelTrack ($1.99). I find it to be a better version of Aftership. Aftership only has vibration notification, whereas PracelTrack has multiple customizable notification options. ParcelTrack also has sync capabilities. Just like AfterShip, ParcelTrack also has barcode scanning and automatic detection of couriers from tracking ID. With my experience with UPS packages, push notifications on Aftership is severely delayed by hours, whereas PracelTrack is much faster (within an hour or so).
Others have mentioned Deliveries, and it is the absolute best if you want the fastest notifications as it can query couriers in up to 5 minute intervals, and it supports pulling tracking information from your Amazon and eBay accounts. Highly customizable, but the one thing it does lack is automatic detection of couriers from tracking ID.
ParcelTrack is really good it even has a map of your parcels which I find extremely useful.
I get notifications from my ParcelTrack app. I've used it for awhile and I'm happy with it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uberblic.parceltrack
Nah, you're good. I was referring to the Pakistan one, haha. I'm guessing you're a Pro user of Deliveries?
I just stumbled upon this thread, and since I'm expecting a package within the next couple of days, I thought I'd try out OP's and a couple of other suggestions. I've installed your recommendation, OP's, [ParcelTrack] (/u/Rx_Boost(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uberblic.parceltrack) (/u/Rx_Boost) and 17TRACK (/u/kevotwo). So far 17TRACK and Deliveries are my least favorite. I had the tracking number copied to my clipboard and I found it awesome how ParcelTrack immediately on startup found my package. With Deliveries I had to input tracking number and carrier manually, as it wasn't able to find the package without the carrier. 17TRACK wasn't able to find the package without carrier and tracking number either, but despite having found it now, says that it's unable to track the number.
While not finding my package on startup, like ParcelTrack, AfterShip was able to find my package from tracking number alone. Little conveniences like that are nice, I think.
I like Deliveries' and ParcelTrack's map view, which is something AfterShip doesn't offer. I will however have to see how all apps do throughout the package's trip to determine what I find works best for me. And of course, some of these apps may just work better for other types of packages and other countries.
Mine changed as well this morning and has now arrived. Try this app to keep track of it. ParcelTrack - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uberblic.parceltrack
