I picked up this app on a whim after getting a bit frustrated with all the confusing and conflicting gym advice I was getting, and after spending ages turning up to the gym with no clue what I was supposed to be doing.
At its most basic it gives you a fixed 12 week plan. I didn't have to think about it, it told me exactly what exercises to do, how to do them, and even what to eat each day. It gives you popup advice and offers alternative exercises and is choc full of info, but the fact that I could start out by ignoring all the fluff and just blindly follow the plan gave me the breakthrough I needed. Eventually I started paying more attention to the rest of the stuff and well, things just started to click.
Hey, starting is hard. Once you get over that hump, it gets easier, day after day, i promise.
The one android application i used was: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bodybuildingplan.perfectbody What's great is that it shows you mini animated videos so that you can kickstart your exercises. Also incorporates a routine plan and tracking. Disclaimer: not affliated with developper. To boot, six months after starting, a senior helped me correct my exercises. Hence, it's a constant learning experience :)
