PSN Trophy Leaders (PSNTL.com) is the site I help develop/run. Our community isn't overly active yet, but we're working on building that. We're about the same "age" as PSNP, as in the sites were created around the same time. We both have our strengths. All I can say is use whichever one makes you happy. I'm a member of both sites and several others.
The nice thing about PSNTL is that if there's a feature that I want, I can simply add it. We listen to suggestions and try to put in what the majority of our users request. We strive to keep our leaderboard a bit cleaner than other sites, as well as offering several leaderboard variations. Again, it's all about having a choice and personal preference. In fact, several other sites/apps get their data from us; PS3Trophies.com (where some of PSNP developers originated) and PS Trophies on Android just to name 2.
All things considered, both sites have features the other doesn't and I didn't come on here to promote our site as the best. I still might be a little biased. ;)
"Bottom line though is i'd like the list on my actual Playstation to be what says 100%, more than any web site." This is exactly what I'm referring to. I consider PSN data to be "accurate." While it's not 100% of everyone who got a trophy ever (missing those who don't have a PSN account), it's the "gold standard." Any website is just a subset of PSN accounts. So the data can only be as accurate as the PSN IDs that any one website has. This wouldn't be as much of a perceived problem if Sony would crack down and clean out unobtainable trophies or acknowledge the issue in some fashion.

You can look up specific trophies and it links to guides that rate difficulty, time to complete plat, if difficulty setting impacts trophies, if multiple play throughs are required and a recommendation on how to collect to minimise replays. I've been using it for a couple years and is a pretty handy resource
Hi everyone,
I'm the developer of PS Trophies, and app for Playstation users to get information about games/trophies, friends, and read and send messages.
My first version of the app was released in 2009, way before Sony came up with their own app (they even contacted me in 2011).
The app also has access to all games released on all 3 platforms, playstation blog from different regions and a wall for people to chat.
I used to have a large user base (around 100k) until Sony released their own app.
You can find the app here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ar.com.indiesoftware.ps3trophies.alpha
Not sure why my personal stats would interest anyone, but I had fun making this spreadsheet and felt like sharing.
Graph 1:
I started playing on this account towards the end of season 2. Heavily grinded ranked until season 4 (introduction of masters). The trendlines show I'm playing the game less and less and that my win ratio is increasing. The latter is probably due to getting a bit better over time, but probably mainly because the longer I play, the more people I've added in game and the more I've been playing pre-stacked with friends.
Graph 2:
My average damage per game is steadily increasing over time, although my K/d is slightly declining. My take on this is that I've become better at the game overtime and had more help from teammates (=more damage) but that I'm having a harder time killing people because the game has become harder and harder as time went on. Opponents have gotten better, people are pre-stacking more and more and it feels like SBMM has become a lot more brutal.
Graph 3:To get my average time played per day, I used this appFor some of the data in the banner on the right, I've manually tracked all stats of myself and my teammates (friends and/or randoms) for 500 games. Here's how to interpret the stats:
I'm not sure what kind of phone you have but the Google Play Store has a PS Trophies app where you can see your hours played for each game
It's called PS Trophies.

It's also available in a lite and in a payed version.
The official PS app doesn't do this.
There are 3rd party apps like PS Trophies that will notify when certain friends go online. Unfortunately, it's not a push notification, but I think you can set it to 5min pull intervals.
I use this app on android for this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ar.com.indiesoftware.ps3trophies.alpha
