That's a Japanese version of the 1st version of the vita (they've now come out with a slim version). They go on Amazon for around $160 used or $270 new https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-WiFi-Sapphire-Japanese-Version/dp/B009DD2T6S
Bought aftermarket heat sink.
Do NOT buy this particular one. It's slightly wider than opening and I had to squeeze in to get it installed.
It's a brush on that contains brass flakes that reacts with an oxidizing agent. Very cool science in a box! Then the end touch up is with a metallic paint selectively applied.
I've had this issue over and over again. So if it happens again go on Amazon and you can buy PSN Codes. You can buy multiples and the code is sent immediately. Make sure it's only sold by Amazon Digital Services.

Look up your email address on haveibeenpwned.com. There's a reasonable chance that you've used the same password in more than one location and that one of them has seen its database compromised.
This recently happened with my Steam account where someone in Malaysia had gained my login credentials from a separate breach. I've also never given my credentials to anyone (2FA was the thing that saved me) so even that doesn't keep you safe.
Sony otherwise just plain sucks when it comes to fixing security issues. Their store webpage even has a button that can easily compromise your saved password if someone accesses your computer. This password would normally be protected by your Windows login credentials but the button bypasses that entirely. I tried reporting it but it fell on deaf ears.
They warned you when you agreed to the terms of service when creating the account.

You created a vulgar user ID. While they do have a filter in place to catch some names, it is nearly impossible to get them all. Sometimes it takes time to get noticed. What's your internet speed?
I've been using this router for a couple years and it's great.
It covers a large area by itself and can easilysupport 16+ devices all connected at the same time without noticeable slow down.[PC, PS4, 2 phones, laptop, tablets, smart home devices, ect.)
Same thing happened to me twice now. First time I contacted Sony, paid for shipping since they don't provide a label and had it replaced. Took about 2-3 weeks for everything.
2nd time I bought a pack of springs off and replaced it myself. It's pretty easy.
Those are Govee's RGBIC Strips, and can be found on amazon https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07TXKGKGR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_Q1BX4KJAZK04CE5H1CBT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They are somewhat addressable (different sections can have different colors) and they also support animations. The one I linked is installed on the furniture, and there's a 2m one behind the TV.
They have a pretty decent app (they are controlled using Bluetooth) and you can even set timers to turn them on automatically. Pretty good purchase IMO.
I've not personally seen the external hard drive affect my PS5 and I've not seen any reports about it doing that either.
The PS5's SSD is already insanely quick and the external hard drive does very little to hinder that in my experience. For instance, loading up Resident Evil: Village, it loads in barely seconds and I always have my external hard drive connected.
As for ones to recommend, this all really depends on the games you have and how many you intend to get. I picked up the Seagate 4TB external hard drive from Amazon and that's worked brilliantly for me, although it's not very cheap.
There are cheaper ones, like this one here, but the less you're willing to pay, the smaller the size of the external hard drive.
Also, just worth pointing out, I'm sure you're already aware of this, but just in case you're not: you can move PlayStation 5 games onto the external harddrive without any issues, but you can't actually play them from there, they will need to be transferred back to the PlayStation if you want to play them as PS5 games use the console's in-built SSD. PlayStation 4 games can be played directly off of the external hard drive with no issues.
It's still missing features like remote play.
And the app is still laggy and the store function is pretty atrocious.
And it just asked me to install the Xbox Game Pass app, so it's not one app anymore either.
Oh absolutely. The current style only came into being with the release of the PS3 slim in 2009. How could you forget the classic PS2/PSP straight edge logo or the Spiderman PS3 logo?
https://thenextweb.com/plugged/2020/01/07/new-ps5-playstation-sony-logo-company-gives-up/
Not that I agree with the article, but they've got decent images of what I'm talking about.
If you think your account has been compromsied then I would recommend enabling 2SV on your account. (How to enable 2SV on PSN) Also you should check haveibeenpwned.com to see if your email was part of any recent breaches. Also make sure you use unique passwords on your accounts cause hackers will typically find a list of emails/passwords and test them to see if they work on other sites/services.
Well, it's technically possible to do it like this:
If you have a line in port on your computer, plug an aux cable in to it, and plug the other end into your PS4 controller. Make sure that the PS4 is set to output all audio to the headset. Then play the audio from the line in on your PC (someone explains how to do this here). You should then be able to hear everything from your computer and your PS4 through your headset.
This. As a parent with small kids I mounted the PS5 immediately. My Switch is also wall mounted. Here's an Amazon link and it's $36 and out of stock. There's another one that is in stock but it's $47. How is that no where near $40?
Have you checked haveibeenpwned.com to see if your email was part of any recent breaches? My friend had his PSN account compromised because he used the same password from an old game called Wildstar that was compromised. Sucks that happened to you though.
It's in the FAQ
>Is Skyrim getting a next-gen upgrade? > >Yes! Owners of Skyrim Special Edition or the Anniversary Edition on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will receive a next-generation upgrade for the game. The upgrade will be free and optimize the game with enhanced graphics, faster loading times and more.
Wow, what a response. I'm wrong because I can read and comprehend information? How about you tell me what the number 1 selling game of the year in 2014 was? Where do you get your information?
Because Forbes says Advanced Warfare was number 1.
So does GeekWire.
And so will any number of sites that actually do their research. Regardless of whether or not it's number 1, it's in the top 10, and has been every year since CoD 4. Just because you don't want it to be so, doesn't mean that's the case.
The fact that both Advanced Warfare and Ghosts made the list says something about the state of today's gamers, which is what the original comment was. The majority of gamers choose these games, which is OP's point. Your counterpoint, that 'most gamers don't sit around and play CoD', is wrong. Just because a few people you know don't, doesn't mean the majority of the gamer community doesn't. Even if your community was 100,000 strong, that's nothing compared to the millions who bought these games, and continue to do so.
And FYI, I never stated anything about being a gamer, though, judging by your responses, I'm fairly certain I've been gaming longer than you've been alive. And I don't like or play CoD either, but nice try. A quick glance at your profile lowered my IQ, so thanks for that.
According to this HDPE, High-Density Polyethylene, from knowledge with plastic that sounds about right as its either something involving Polyethlyne or ABS. I can tell you for sure its not polypropylene.

I'm in a different country than you so not sure where to buy, but here is an example of something near me. Notice in the description how it specifically mentions data. I think as long as you get one that states is rated for data you should be fine

Yes it has to be 3.0 or higher on both 4 and 5. I found a 500gb seagate hard drive in the bargain bin but it was too old it wouldn’t read. I bought a 2TB one last year and I love it, although now I wish I got a 4TB so if you have lots of digital games like me I would go for the 4TB one. Also games are getting so big these days like most AAA games or 70gb+

If anything this is a good excuse to customize the thing. I made a blacked out controller with these parts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08Z89CRW5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YR14M3F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Its a lot of fun and mine turned out nice. Hope the dog is okay. Edit: I want to note that if you end up doing this the touchpad is going to be the hardest part because there is adhesive holding the plastic to the circuit board so you will need something like a hair dryer to loosen it.
Another option, you can get an external M.2 adapter for like $25 and put any M.2 drive in it you want (following M.2 drive standards, of course.)

Upgrading internal storage is not that hard, and in my opinion, 100% worth it. For a while, every time I got a new game I had to delete another, which really sucked. I bought a 2tb hard drive from amazon and it’s amazing. Here’s the link to the one I got https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-FireCuda-Gaming-2-5-Inch-ST2000LX001/dp/B01M1NHCZT
AFAIK it was called "Turtles in Time" in some territories outside the US (UK, Australia and I think Germany and other places in Europe, too).
The latest Blu-ray releases (including US release) also have the "Turtles in Time" subtitle:
US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0099KDSVK
UK/AUS: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B016Y9BNZQ
The only thing I can think of that would work would be to buy a router that supports VPN setups, buy a VPN (I personally use Private Internet Access and they list routers that work), and set that VPN up inside the router. You have to go this route because I do not believe (and I could be wrong) that you can use a VPN directly through the PS4. Using the router method makes it so anything behind that router is essential connected to the VPN.
I haven't had a playstation since the ps2, but I'm about to buy a pro, is it normally 100 above msrp?

There is an app you can get called BubbleUPnP so you can stream it using your phone. Here is a nice tutorial. Only downside it that it costs a few bucks, but is well worth it.
Edit Linked to the wrong tutorial
Physical copies of your PS3 games? Most likely not, since the PS4 has a different architecture. There will be however a way for you to rent PS3 games via PlayStation Now and stream it from a server to your PS4.
Not sure about the Beta in the US but the Beta in Europe is coming next year.

Steamforged Horizon Zero Dawn The Board Game
$100 from Big Bad Games. Plus there's a few expansions that appear to be $50 each.
>annual PSN membership.
You can literally buy cards with the ammount for each PS Tier, but okay
It's not worth $70, but you can get it for about $50, maybe less, on eBay. Or if you don't wanna risk a bad seller, you can buy a deal off Groupon where you get $20 credit to GameFly for $10, and then buy a copy from them for $50 as well.
Or just get a GameFly trial and try it that way. Which is probably the best option, because if you've watched like 20 minutes of gameplay, you should already know whether or not you think it's worth it. If you're asking if it's worth it, then it's probably not worth it to you.
>FYI: There will be no live stream of the presentation and attendees are prohibited from recording video. SCE has said that they may post clips of the presentation sometime tomorrow, but not the entire session.

" The PlayStation 5 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is scheduled for release Holiday 2020 in the U.S. and Canada, and in late 2020 for the rest of the world. "
I wrote an article all about this! Here it is:

I used this 2TB drive in my PS4 and put the old 500GB one into my PS3. Very cost-effective!
thermal paste doesn't exactly "go out". It can dry out and being a fat ps3 it probably dried up a long time ago. The motherboard isnt entirely shot, yellow light of death is stupid simple to fix. I just fixed mine like a week ago. all it cost me $10 syringe of thermal paste at bestbuy, a $25 heat gun at lowes, and like 30 minutes of my time.
got both my 60gb launch ps3's fixed with it. I've done it before but I skimmed through this guide because its been awhile.
http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Yellow+Light+of+Death+Repair/3654
That's an advertised feature of that game.
Some digital games are "cross-buy", which means if you buy them on one platform the other platforms are included. This seems to be the exception rather than the rule, though it's pretty common for PS+ free games to be cross-buy.
Here's a list of the current cross-buy games on the PlayStation Store.
I changed mine it didn't ruin my Fortnite account, but I haven't checked any other games. Here is the link to the games.
https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/onlineid/games-list-home/issues-identified/
Hi, i changed my id last week. I was also scared that i lost content. Fortunately, playstation posted a list of al the games that has problems or issues. Here: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/onlineid/games-list-home/issues-identified/
There have been a couple small issues in some games and some more serious things in other games.
They have lists of games that are and aren’t affected on playstations website. The list is very small and of old games that are effecting dlc’s and end game currency.
Those are fair points but neither has anything to do with the capture controls.
I’m guessing you changed the capture format to mp4, but you should check this for your other files: https://cloudconvert.com/webm-to-mp4
Go to the channels icon at the bottom. It'll pull up the featured channels and such. If you scroll to the bottom, you'll see a button for "Add Channel Tag". Click that and search for "Playstation Network Current Status". If all else fails, just navigate over to this site https://www.pushbullet.com/channel?tag=psnstatus on your device or computer and subscribe there.
You can do a monthly subscription or rent the games individually. You can learn more here. I use WiFi for my PS4 and have very few problems with it.

The controller shouldn't die after only 3 or 4 hours. For sure it last less than the Dual shock 4, for example.
You can change the settings an make the light dimmer or even put the haptic feedback and vibration to the minimum.
If this doesn't help you should contact the support because maybe your controller is faulty.
Regarding your question I know that exists a accessory to the controller as a rechargeable battery, like this one
https://www.amazon.com/NexiGo-Controller-Accessories-Rechargeable-Playstation/dp/B08LZP32Y3
Look up TP-Link AV1000 on Amazon. Bought mine for $30

Fair, not as bad as I was potentially thinking but we'll see. Would this be it? https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Internal-Gaming-MZ-V8P2T0B-AM/dp/B08RK2SR23/ref=sr\_1\_3?dchild=1&keywords=980+Pro+2TB+m.2&qid=1627591566&sr=8-3
I just went through this myself with my Sony TV. Each manufacturer seems to have its own adapter (although they may appear identical, the ring/tip pinout is different)
Those ones are better for cleaning your devices and even TV screen. Just remember to be gentle and don't apply pressure.
https://www.amazon.com/MR-SIGA-Microfiber-Cleaning-Cloth-Pack/dp/B07HRCDDL1/
Well, you have a PS5 now so this is probably useless information for you lol.
But, I guarantee if you take your loud PS4 apart and thoroughly clean the dust from inside of it and replace the thermal paste, your PS4 will be almost completely silent.
I just recently cleaned my Gen 1 PS4 and when I was done it made virtually no noise. Honestly, it was amazing how different it was. Before I cleaned my PS4 it would literally sound like a jet engine taking off when I would start up a game. Now, you can just barely hear the fan.
The video I used as a teardown guide: https://youtu.be/fhGRTbdJdyQ
The thermal paste I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002CQU14A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_YKJQK5AH0JS3NSD5KFN4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You should probably also replace your thermal pads, I didn't replace mine but I probably will next time I clean my PS4.
It should but i recommend this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GRFZ2KD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_2FBPT4TNESQFBPTNQZQ6 its pricy but its worth it, you probably wont need another hard drive for a long time
These are official and $64.99, they said in stock soon and shipped a week after I ordered. I bought two and I can confirm they are legit.
Here you go. This is UK amazon, but im sure you should find the seller on other countries storefronts.
Edit: spelling mistake
A great replacement would be a Samsung EVO 870 found here:

Do you have PS+? If so then your game saves should all be in the cloud and easily accessible once you install the newest firmware on it. You’ll have to download all your games again which is time consuming but should be faster than the backup/restore method you’re proposing (which I’ve done myself in the past).
Here’s the link on Amazon. I will likely be ordering the black one to match everything else. That stand is actually my bf’s lol, just used for the picture.
This is the best one I have ever used. - https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Portable-External-Hard-Drive/dp/B07CRG94G3
Its a Sea gate portable game drive.
They have a 2 or a 4 TB i use the 4 because I have a bunch of games. It hasn't went out on me or anything of the sort. No issues at all. Even when it storms and the power outs or something unplugs my PS it stays perfect in use!
Also, I've had it for around 2 years. 1 and like 10 months. So there's the specs on time periods.
This is a photo someone posted in ChangeIt (not mine), an app that focuses on helping people being ecofriendly. Every month, the developers give users a challenge, and this one is to send them a picture of a repurposed object.
I use this and never had any issues.

This is what I am using. It’s a 4K HDR version with 60hz refresh. They make a 120hz but I’m using it with my Mac Mini M1 so it doesn’t matter much to me. It looks amazing.
I had actually gotten lucky with a “like new” from Amazon for $350.
It’s one of these, I couldn’t find my exact one. I purchased mine years ago. But this one seems to have amazing reviews May pick it up to replace my old one actually lol

they also have several other models from Marvel and StarWars
That would be fine although I should actually mention something I forgot to say.
Based on the physical layout of the PS4, some USB Flash Drives will not fit in the front ports. Notably, they may be too tall and not fit within the slot that exists there. (The PS5 doesn't have this problem since the ports are flush)
You should be OK with the rear port as a last resort on PS4, but that's a bit more of a pain. I know some of the drives like that SanDisk may be borderline close to not fitting. So if you have the option to seek out slimmer drives, that may be worth it.
(Although you may wish to stay away from the ones that are so small they don't protrude at all either, almost like a wireless receiver. As those would have the inverse problem, of being too hard to remove)
For reference, I just bought this drive to serve as my dedicated PS5 USB for moving captures off. I use the Type C port in the front of the PS5, and use the Type A port on my PC. The drive isn't exactly pushing even 5Gbps or anything, but it's compact and is faster than USB 2.0 and it doesn't break the bank.
Ya sure here ya go they come in a two pack and are a little thick, I added button mashers so the thickness isn't a concern to me, without them though the face buttons are flush with the grip
The red, white and yellow plugs connect to the corresponding ports on the back of a TV. If your tv doesn’t have these, you can buy an adaptor that allows you to connect to the scart socket instead.
You could probably get an adaptor to output to hdmi but I don’t know how well that would work, I’ve never tried.
Once you’ve connected that cable, plug in, turn on and enjoy.
For example..

If you want to be given an item to buy, let me know your location and budget and will ping some options over.
Not a direct answer to your question, but have you checked out those rubber cover for the controllers? I bought these recently and they're pretty good IMO. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08L7MGJJ1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There's some pretty cheap adapters on Amazon such as this one that work to adapt that to the 3.5mm jack the PS4 uses
First recommendation is the Plantronics RIG 500HC 3.5mm Stereo Gaming Headset https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0123C7GVI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WGmjybF98E2NK (US Amazon Link). I used them for a while. Great audio and mic quality and I loved how light they were. Solid headset for the price.
Other than those, I'd say HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset - Black (KHX-H3CL/WR) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JJNQG98/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_gJmjyb114724J (also US Amazon Link). These were awesome because of their memory foam padding and jus the overall level of comfort they offered.
Keep in mind neither of these offer true surround sound and are both wired to your controller. If you have any questions about either, let me know! I no longer own either but used them both for a fre months each before I handed them down to my cousin. I currently use Astro A50s.
MAG: Massive Action w Bluetooth NEW Sony PS3 Game https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AHLI0A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_GzxNybZ5KN8DT guess this amazon seller is in on it too. These are made by PlayStation not Walmart.
I had Best Buy price match Amazon, think it was $109. It was this one WD 4TB My Book Desktop External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 - WDBBGB0040HBK-NESN https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LQQHL4E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dhYWybQH2D3XD
I have seen this and think that it's an issue with the payment method. The way that I got around it was buying a PlayStation Gift Card Digital Code from Amazon, which then let me put the money into my wallet.
Not sure why the PlayStation Store is doing so poorly at this, but it definitely seems like this gets around the issue for the time being!
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/20-PlayStation-Store-Gift-Card/dp/B004RMK4BC

Strange link from Amazon UK though
You can get them from Amazon, all you have to do is make a US Amazon account and they will sell you digital codes. They send them over to your email.
The codes are only valid on US accounts tho: https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Store-Gift-Card-Digital/dp/B00GAC1D2G?th=1&psc=1
