I currently use the Push to Kindle app.

It usually works well without any problems.
.
Or were you asking how to do this using Instapaper on Android?
If so:
I send web articles/blog posts to my kindle as docs. I have Push to Kindle it on my laptop's chrome browser, but it is AMAZING for my phone (App), when I find something interesting and I just don't want to read it on the tiny screen. I've noticed I tend to do this a lot with MEDIUM blog posts.
Oh, on my phone is just an App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.fivefilters.kindleit&hl=en
You just "Share" the article and select Push to Kindle instead of Whatsapp or Messenger, and the app takes the URL and send the content of the page to your kindle email (you need to configure your kindle email and add the app's email as allowed to send docs)
Once you've done the set-up described by MarblesinthePan you can in addition to email use various free bookmarklets as described by ...
Personally I use the Instapaper bookmarklet.
There also is the $3.99 Push to Kindle by FiveFilters.org app that I haven't used.
Try the appropriately named Push to Kindle! It does just what you're looking for. You put in your Kindle email address and then the app appears in your Android share menu so you can easily send things from any app.
And while looking it up for you, I noticed they have a Chrome extension too!
Edit: I couldn't remember what I paid for it, though it looks like around $4. I must've bought it at a time when I had a lot of Play credit saved from Google Rewards. It's a nice app, though, even if $4 is a bit much for "Does one thing really well."
Hmmm.... I don't know of a guide....I learned a ton by just reading sites such as this.
Welcome to the club!
Here are my helpful hints - -
1) every now and then, hold the button until a screen pops up, and select "restart." It will clear out the flotsam and jetsam and make your device perky once again.
2) on my desktop computer, in my chrome browser, I added "send to kindle" and it is marvelous. It is a way to send articles to your kindle cloud, so that you can download them and read the article without all of the advertisements, and etc, which clutters up a web page.
3) Same with my phone and "push to kindle" Marvelous.
4) when it is time for an update, Amazon pushes to your device.....eventually. If you want to update faster, then connect your kindle to your computer via usb cord. Download the update from here - paperwhite updates, and then drag it over to your paperwhite by dropping it into the "kindle" folder. Not any of the folders within the kindle folder, just the kindle folder. I'm sure that there is a geeky way to say this, and I don't know how.
Then, eject your kindle.
Then, tap the three dots in the upper right, and then settings, and then device options, and then advanced options, and then update your kindle
This all sounds like a lot, but really, it is easy. You will generally find out within 10 minutes of a new update if you are a regular on this board. Someone will surely announce it.
5) if you want to sideload books onto your paperwhite, you drag and drop into the documents folder, which is found in the kindle folder.
6) save yourself the time and don't even try to read pdf files on your paperwhite. It is a study in frustration
7) try to get some sleep, lol.
ENJOY!
"Push to Kindle" from FiveFilters works really well for me.

Push to Kindle without a doubt. It doesn't even make sense. They don't give a shit.
