Tram Line 1 is useable for this route. It stops at both Schwedenplatz and Johann Strauß Gasse. The tramway takes 21 minutes for this route, using the metro with changing at Karlsplatz takes 19 minutes, but the ways for changing metro lines are long. At least every second tram is a loor floor vehicle.
For route enquires, i recommend using this application.
If you have access to the internet on your phone then download qando, it's the app for the public transport and will locate you as well if need.

It's probably a reverence to quando (and several simmilar words in other languages), with the deliberate mistake so make it it's own brand. - It tells you When your next ride will be (and which one, where to change, if there are any holdups,...)

Unfortunately, Wiener Linien refuse to share their data in GTFS-Format and only offer a proprietary API. Hence, public transportation information in Google Maps and some other services is sketchy.
Best way to get around in Vienna is public transport. Get the Quando App :)
