No nothing that complex or power hungry, the mobile has an app which is the heart of the operation, everything is monitored from there between the microcontroller and the website we monitor battery/charging/gps/environmental sensors from. Commands are sent to the microcontroller directly via usb or Bluetooth in case theres a problem ie cable gets loose. In fact if theres anyone out there who is an expert at minimizing battery usage on android please do get in touch :)
