Purpose of Startup: Crowdsourced Replay Officiating. It's time for sports fans to have a say in the review process. (2 ½ minute video)
Technologies Used: Ionic / Angular, RxJS, Firebase Realtime DB, AngularFire2, Cloud Functions for Firebase, Node, DiscordJS
Feedback or Support Requested: Beta users would be incredible, as I'm the only one that's tested it. If you're a big sports fan, hopefully you'll be interested in sticking around longer than that.
I'm also beginning to talk to potential investors, so I'm interested in that as well.
If you're a dev familiar with my tech stack, feel free to reach out (no openings just yet, but hopefully I'll need help soon.).
Are you familiar enough with theories around "wisdom of crowds" to think that this will work? Or does the inherent bias of sports give you pause?
Comments: I've created a platform so fans can keep track of each call during a game, and can vote on whether or not the officials got them right. For now, it'll be a fun way to see what other fans think. But the end goal is to understand the data well enough (correcting for bias & discrepancies in fan base sizes, etc.), while counting on "the wisdom of crowds," to allow us to take part in the officiating process.
We can improve officiating by making it faster and more accurate, while having fun in the process. On a deeper level, we can move sports away from the "letter of the law" model toward the preferred "spirit of the law."
Here's a longer explanation that I posted elsewhere on Reddit.
And here's an extended user guide in video form of the platform (warning...it's long).

More details
This has been a solo project so far. I've done all the dev, branding, etc. But the platform is fairly developed; it's much more than an MVP at this point. It's built with Ionic / Angular, RxJS, Firebase Realtime DB, AngularFire2, Cloud Functions for Firebase, Node, and DiscordJS.
Looking for
Definitely beta testers & feedback, and hopefully you'll like it and stick around.
I'm also ready to start talking to investors and have one or two interesting meetings coming up.
Discount
It's already free.
Refolution - Gotta plug my own app here. It's for Crowdsourced Replay Officiating and we've been talking about here and here (website / iOS / Android). We're doing some testing during March Madness so come and help. And feel free to start claiming spots for next football season.
LastPass - I recommend this more that anything out there. It's essential for keeping all your accounts secure. All my passwords are ~30 characters of un-memorizable gibberish.
LastPass Authenticator (iOS, Android ) - Turn on multi-factor authentication wherever you can (your Google account, Dropbox, Facebook, LastPass, banks, etc.). Using an authenticator app (Authy or Google Authenticator are fine too) means you'll need the app to login to these sites (at least for the first time on each new computer), which means that you could give people your password and they still wouldn't be able to log in to your account.
Overcast (iOS only) - "Smart Speed" helps you crank through a lot of news.
Spark (iOS only) - My current email app (used to use Mailbox which just shut down, but they are similar).
Noisli - Sounds for working / studying / sleeping.
