I wrote an app a few months ago that you could use for this, it's called Relish https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=relish.permoveo.com.relish
You can create invites and send them to your guests via text, email, twitter, or the in-app invite system and track all RSVPS. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Hey there!
Very interested in your post. I actually made a similar post a few days ago, and I think we could do some awesome work together if we joined our forces a bit! I'm based in NYC
I'm an experienced Android Engineer based in NYC. I've been working with various startups, agencies and large media companies for the last 5 years.
Just finished up a 9 month consult at Viacom, and now I'm ready to help bring some awesome ideas to life.
I also recently just launched my company's own flagship app called Relish, check it out here www.relishwith.us

Also check out my website here www.permoveo.nyc
PM me if you're interested in hearing more about me, my team, what we have going on etc. I'd love to also hear more about you and your work. Let's work man! Peace :)
So sorry about that. Realizing that there's an issue with the Relish landing page loading. Waiting on an update from Amazon's customer service to see what's up.I've included the direct Play Store link in case.

Thanks for doing this!
1) Relish http://www.relishwith.us
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=relish.permoveo.com.relish
2) Help groups of friends/coworkers organize eating out and pretty much any other social get together
3) Savvy on iOS, not so much comp on Android. There's another invite app named "Invitd" but it's absolutely garbage
4) Not making any money right now. The plan was to grow the user base to a sizeable amount (~50k), then build a reservation system and get restaurants to participate.
That, or go to some restaurants and have them pay to be advertised/featured in the top discovery section of the app
6) Mostly people that eat out socially frequently, or tend to have frequent group events/activities with friends.
7) Only a few dozen users since launch. We're thinking about creating an Instagram page to use to attract more.
8) I'm the founder, and one of the developers. I hired another remote dev to help me build it out and a designer. We all worked remote and I project managed the entire process. 3 man team
Name / URL - Relish - http://relishwith.us - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=relish.permoveo.com.relish
Elevator Pitch - Relish is a social gathering app designed to make getting a group of friends together for lunch, dinner, drinks or anything else dead simple. Your friends don't need the app to respond to your invites and let you know if they're down.
More Details - Right now there's me(founder/engineer/PM), and 2 other devs and 1 designer.
Looking for - Press help, more exposure. Pitched to a few tech blogs but no luck so far, going to continue over the course of the next few weeks. Going to reach out to popular instagram accounts in the foodie/dining space and see if we can get some promo going there. Any other ideas welcomed as well! :)

Are you looking for anything? Yes, I'd love to hear some tips on how to generate more leads
Recently, I formed an S-corp while I was working as a Android developer consultant. I've been doing mobile consulting for the past 4 years, but now I want to get into the business side of things! I've seen all aspects of the mobile app business from ideation of an app to full project delivery to a client, and more importantly it's always been by dream to have my own company and run a business. So I jumped in.
My company is called Permoveo. The word Permoveo is Latin, and means to "move, stir up, excite or cause action". One of my biggest personal philosophies is that I value action over any other force. Too often we spend way too much time thinking, planning, hoping or simply dreaming about getting things done, and we never commit any action to that vision.

What I have
We're currently a very small team, with a couple developers working remotely and one local web developer and good friend of mine working in CT. Everyone is a contractor/freelancer.
We're also working with one client right now, who's basically our main cash cow. They're a furniture delivery startup who's built some really interesting technology behind their business, and we're building out their mobile app.
I mostly work from home, and interface and communicate with my team and clients via phone/skype/slack/hangouts, the works.
What I want
I want more clients. Our current client is great to work with, but work tends to slow up frequently and then my developers are just sitting, waiting for new work to come in. I'd love to have to 2 or 3 close clients that we're working with at a time, and I'm absolutely confident that my team can handle it.
What I'm doing about it
I've recently hired a very talented young lady to handle some PR/Digital marketing for us. She's taken over the company's Instagram and Facebook a few days ago and we've been seeing some good growth there.
What are some good strategies for finding leads on Instagram? I think it's a great space to connect with startups or even founders themselves. I'd love to know what some of you guys are doing!
To those of you that run or work at agencies, how do you go about finding potential clients? I have some strategies that I want to start implementing this week, but I'd definitely love to pick you guys' brain about some of the things you're doing
I'd like to shamelessly plug my own app for consideration, Relish!
