I will be honest, I never played Shadowrun Returns as I heard it was a bit weaksauce. Dragonfall Director's Cut and Hong Kong were both fun as heck though ([spoiler](#s "but fuck APEX though, for reals")), and led pretty directly to my decision to DM a Shadowrun tabletop game for my first time DMing. Cyberfantasypunk was something I had no idea I needed until I encountered it, but damn if it doesn't feel right.
Oh! And lest I forget, if $7.19 is still out of your price range, then at least for Android there's also a pretty neat-o app for that. I actually use that myself as DM b/c I sometimes need to do a lot of rolls quickly-ish (currently often more "ish" than "quickly" - pretty new as a DM still) and also there's not a ton of room behind the DM screen for book + notes + a buttload of d6s.
initiative app. realized that it subtracts initiative right after pass. Back to pen and paper now.
Dice rolling app with predefined dice pools or easy handling "Runner Dice" is okay. makes combat smoother and while rolling dice is fun, watching others to count hits gets a little boring.
