I use an android device but I assume iOS has apps like these. I used to use an app called SafeCamera but I am now testing out an app called Secrecy.
Both use industry standard AES-256 so you can decrypt them on other devices or computers. SafeCamera is free but has an in app purchase to unlock something (I forget what). What it does is take the picture and immediately encrypts it, but the camera doesn't really have a lot of features and can't do video. Secrecy is free and open source with a donate option if you feel like being generous since it is still in development. It encrypts any file type but can't make anything itself, so you would have to take pictures or video on your phone then open this app to encrypt them. It claims that it will clear up any temporary files like cached thumbnails but I haven't been able to test that yet.
Both apps allow you to make more than one folder, so you could have one for dick pics, fits, etc and not have to worry about people seeing the wrong stuff. The really nice thing about each is that as long as the person you are sending pictures or videos to has as any app that is able to decrypt these files and knows the password they can open it. And once they are done looking you know that if someone peeks that their phone they won't see what you sent unless that person actually share it with them. No more, "oops, I didn't mean to post that picture to the internet" or accidentally sending clam shots to mom.
Edit:if you donate to Secrecy it has the ability to hide its icon from the app drawer which is also nice if people are flipping through your apps then want to know why you have an app called Secrecy.
The free version of SafeCamera only allows pictures that are 640x480. The pro key unlocks full resolution.
Right now I think secrecy is better but YMMV.
You could take a look into Secrecy
