I played Sara Is Missing. It was a really neat and surprisingly well made concept, that sadly did not fully deliver... at least for me. Spoilers ahead, so instead of reading this comment you should just go play the game yourself - it's fairly short (and free!).

SIM is less of a game and more of an experience. Without going too deep into the story - "You found a phone belonging to a missing person", that missing person being Sara. With the help of an AI/virtual assistant IRIS (like Siri but backwards, get it) you start snooping through Sara's messages and emails, trying to find out where is she.
Sounds good, right? And yeah, it is pretty good for a bit. The game is actually really well made and it looks great. I found reading through Sara's conversations legitimately interesting. A lot of effort went into making this game.
Which is a bit of a shame, because... there's really not much to it. The plot quickly escalates (spoiler, it's a horror story with violence and whatnot) and then it just ends with a choice that's not only trying a bit too hard, it also doesn't have that much impact because the game ends right after the aforementioned choice.
The game takes less than an hour to complete. If you ever get stuck you can just ask IRIS for help.
I felt like there was so much wasted potential here. These little videos and photos will legitimately scare some people. The premise is amazing.
I don't know. I just wish there was a bit more to it.
Or not a bit. I wish there was a SIM2, except 10 times bigger.

That being said, I do think that you should give it a go, especially since it's free. As I mentioned earlier, it's really well made.
I also played Distraint but I haven't got a chance to finish it yet. So far it's pretty intriguing.
Finally got around to playing Sara is Missing! It felt like a piece of interactive theatre rather than a game. Structure-wise it had everything you'd expect of an immersive experience like this - combing through personal files on the phone for information and whatnot - but it's the commitment to really bringing the phone alive that really sells it, like the gallery full of photos and videos, and the inbox full of spam. I've played PC games that have similar structures, so the mechanics themselves aren't necessarily all that groundbreaking, but I did enjoy the execution. Apparently the game has been in development for five years, which might explain it.
The story isn't anything too special - your typical creepy horror game - but it is solidly delivered. The writing is serviceable - many of the dialogue choices seem to be there just for decoration/immersion, rather than actually having an impact. The star really is in the interaction design and the supplementary videos/photos. Apparently the devs worked together with an actual video production company, and it does show!
It seems like the developers are already hard at work on another game. I'm certainly looking forward to it.

It's a very interesting app. It presents itself as a hacked phone belonging to a girl name Sara whom is now missing, and you have to go through it with the help of the phones AI, I.R.I.S. I've barely scrated the surface. Its an Android app free to download.
This might be a stretch but SIM - Sara Is Missing

Ah. In that case, since you're looking for an experience specific to mobile, there are quite a few of those as well. There is SIM - Sara Is Missing and its sequel, SIMULACRA. They are both horror/mystery games that revolve around you finding a phone and you going through it to find out the story of the owner. They're both fairly short games if I remember correctly, but the sequel has a lot more endings and is a longer game in general. The first one is free with no ads or IAP, though, so you can try it out and see if you like the formula.
The Lfeline series is also great, particularly the first one. I'll avoid spoiling it, but it's a really good game with several different endings. They released a slew of other ones, which I've only played 2 of (Lifeline 2 and Whiteout) and they're good as well. Still, the first one reigns supreme in my opinion.
