Hello! I am a solo developer, and I have just released a new, free horror game: Erusal.
Erusal is an epistolary horror set in an abandoned (?) mountain town. You can blitz down the mountain in your attempt to escape, or explore the structures to find diary entries that reveal the terrible fate of the town's former inhabitants.
I would be honored if Mark or my fellow Markiplites would try it out.
I already made a thread for this but this was when the Game recommendation thread was locked, so I'll put it here and delete the old one if I can.
There is a VERY under-rated but immensely HORRIFYING game called "Leave" For the RPGmaker VX. It's short, maybe 15-20 minutes so it'd be good for a one shot, but it is the only game that has honestly terrified me since the Witch's house.
http://rpgmaker.net/games/5535/
You may need to install the RPGmaker VX Ace RTP, which can be found here. http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/run-time-packages
Well in that case, I guess here's a quick reminder: The first, hopefully of many, installment of "Mark Rewind" starts in an hour (8pm EST) over at https://cytu.be/r/Mark_Rewind! Join us as we rewatch some old Amnesia custom stories!
I can tell that even by the comments you guys felt what I felt watching this, and so I wanted to say I gave it a go.
Even with knowing the outcome of the game, it didn't stop me from trying to find a way to stop what happens. In the end I felt just the same way Mark must of.
I felt so lonely but, the letters helped and hell I tried my best to get to level Twenty on all those games.. never the less I couldn't accomplish anything. Even with know the outcome I felt lonely again.
On a more serious note we should all give props to the creator of this game! Wertpol has also made a game that is the prequel to that game so you need to check that out too! Link is below!

wat
EDIT: Alright I did some research on this for you guys.
Apparently the game is based off of one of the paintings by a German artist named Stefan Roman Hosch. This is his website: http://www.gobbogoes.com/
He's also made a few other games, they are here on his IndieDB page: http://www.indiedb.com/members/romangobbo/games
Honestly the drawings/paintings aren't that bad, but put into a 3D format and things start to get a bit...strange...
Hey, I just updated my own fan game (http://gamejolt.com/games/five-days-of-markiplier/62261), and I have some experience with making these. For music, kevin macleod is a great source of gaming music! https://incompetech.com/
Hi guys, I'm someone who's been a fan of Mark's for about 2 years. I made a fan game for him this year (right when he was playing lots of fan games, great timing on my part -_- ) Here's my game http://gamejolt.com/games/five-days-of-markiplier/62261
I suffer from depression and I was greatly saddened by Dan's death. It sounds selfish but I was heartbroken because I was going to part of the cyndaplier skype, and now that won't happen. I wanted to meet Cyndago and Mark, I wanted to tell me how much I loved their work, and how much that stuff meant to me. I wanted to tell Dan how much I loved his music.
I'm drifting in and out of depression right now. Some days are worse than others. Some are better. I still laugh, and I'm glad Ryan is returning to gaming soon.
I am not sad butts won because though I have boobs I love man butt. Man butt is fun.
It's so hard to understand someone else's views. I'm struggling with twitter wars right now, and I understand how easy it is to rage at stupidity. But that stupidity is often rooted in pain and honest desires to do good. This person is trying to soothe other people's (and likely their own) pain, but they are doing it in a selfish way.
> Because of this I can comfortably say that we are lucky to have Markiplier, and Markiplier is lucky to have this fandom.
And I made a videogame exactly about this, if you fancy playing!
2016 discontinued Markiplier Plush It's in great condition, he's been sitting on my shelf for years and it's about time he finds someone new Offer negotiable Only on OfferUp https://offerup.com/item/detail/687718160/
It is indeed. This is my first time using it as well. I didn't do any of the modeling and texturing though - all credit for that goes to the developer of Mecabricks and their amazing software.
Mark, it's an old game but will give you a really neat experience as a nice short game. It is easily playable in a single episode as well and I know things like that can be helpful.
It is a free flash game called "You Find Yourself in a Room." Link: http://www.kongregate.com/games/2darray/you-find-yourself-in-a-room
It is also found on plenty of other flash game sites. It is actually a really short and interesting take on old text based games. It plays very quickly and has a really neat concept as well as giving some great nods both to the old genre as well as other gaming conventions from old Tabletop RPGs.
It also has a sequel flash game called Viricide which might be 2-3 episodes worth of material and actually has a more action-packed gameplay model which comes across as reasonably similar to the old Asteroid game but updated with both story, difficulty, and additional gameplay elements such as upgrades and more complex "enemies." Link: www.kongregate.com/games/2darray/viricide
I know that flash games are only a small part of your portfolio but these are a great pair if you are looking for more serious entries in the flash game genre. Thanks for your time and attention Mark!
PS. Very vague spoiler there are definitely horror elements in the two games, so far as story-telling goes. ;)
I think you should play The Last Door. Its a free horror point & click series much like the Deep Sleep but with a more interesting plot. The developers have really put in a lot of effort in it and definitely deserves recognition.
Pls just check it out its awesome i swear you won't regret it Mark!
Mark should play Five Nights at Candy's by far THE BEST fnaf fangame, it is scary and disturbing as all hell in the later nights and has a hidden story aswell.
Not only that but it feels and looks super well made!
I felt really awkward doing so, but I went and looked it up and found a fuckton on my favorite fanfic website. Do it and link me as well. My body is ^^^not ready.
"How Do I Draw?" Is a draw-y...thing. I'm not sure how else to describe it. I'm sure Mark could make some beautiful art using this unique tool.
Hey guys. I made a game. It's really a challenging game ever. You can try it yourself.I did it for a long time, please, don't pass by. I hope mark appreciates it. this is a link to the game

Don't Escape is a pretty good little game, I like the shorter Let's Plays, and this is a short game that requires a little bit of thinking. It's like the opposite of an escape the room game, plus it's free online. They made a second one too, but personally I prefer the first.
Die Anstalt: Psychiatrie für misshandelte kuscheltiere (Or The Aslyum, I think it's called in English) is another one that'd be cool to see played. I haven't really seen any let's plays of it, and even though it's a plug for some stuffed toys, it could really make for a good lets play in the right hands. You're essentially a psychiatrist who has to treat some stuffed toys by trial and error. Again, it's free and online.
Don't really know if it belongs in this sub, so sorry if I'm going a bit too far in self-promoting. If you're an admin, feel free to take down this video.
And If someone is interested, I would also enjoy a bit of feedback how to actually improve in content creation :)

Pc release coming soon.
But damn, posting personal stuff on social media is so stressful it's crazy. Markiplier is a god.
So yeah, I finally finished. It's a small game, probably just 30 minutes of gameplay. The gameplay is not that fascinating, too.
But well, if you're interested here's the link for a Google play pre-registration:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Leaf_INC.MarkInSpace
I will also post an itch.io link here after I will finally figure out how to publish games there:
- not yet

Those are actually just some Mark purchased on amazon.
They're sold out now tho after people figured it out lol
Saw about this game just some days ago here on Reddit, and wanted to try it out. And seriously, its a wonderful game and love it so far. Markiplier fans is truly amazing!
I highly suggest people to try it out, can find it here http://gamejolt.com/games/hearts-and-heroes-a-markiplier-fan-game/90866 <3
So I created a fan game for Markiplier 2 years ago (most of this subreddit has already seen it).
When Anna created the google spreadsheet attached for games for /u/markiplier to play, I went through this subreddit and added all the fan games I could possibly find to this sheet. However, I realise I may not have gotten all of people's games, so you can comment in an empty cell your game's name (pls add a link to it, much helpful for Mark).
Please note, I do not edit the spreadsheet, so your comment will be turned into a proper entry whenever Anna is able to do that.
Gamejolt doesn't have anything to do with steam.
Here's where you get Ghost Supermarket:
http://gamejolt.com/games/ghost-supermarket/109989
Looks like you have to play that one on Unity Web Player, which doesn't work on Google Chrome, but it should work on Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera.
Just click where it says Play.
Other games on GameJolt can be downloaded.
I released a game on itch.io a while ago called Control Room. When developing it, I specifically tried to tailor the experience towards gamers like Markiplier and think it would be super entertaining to see his reaction to it!
Markiplier! Please play the game Tabletop Simulator! It's like the Garry's Mod of board games. It looks like it would be a ton of fun to watch you play with your friends.
It's been funded on Kickstarter and is currently on Steam Greenlight. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/274930865/tabletop-simulator?ref=live

Since Mark enjoys Oxygen Not Included, I'd really like to see him play Dwarf Fortress seeing as I find them similar. http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/ This was also the game that inspired the creation of Minecraft.
Hi, I made a game this year: http://gamejolt.com/games/five-days-of-markiplier/62261 and I spent a month making it. I'll play the demo, but if there's any particular help you want with RPGmaker or other issues, let me know!
Indie horror "The Midnight Lapse" has been released few days ago and it's hard and scary as hell, I'd like to see how Mark will beat this game
http://gamejolt.com/games/five-nights-at-f-boy-s-dancing-all-night/90788 Considering Mark has wondered if there will be Five Nights at Fuckboy's 4, here is the best FANMADE one there is. There will be no official one, however.
There's this interesting game on Gamejolt I think Mark would enjoy... Anatomically Incorrect Dinosaurs.
Hey Markiplier, It Moves (the indie game from gamejolt about a child's nightmares) was completed. http://gamejolt.com/games/it-moves/26114/news I really enjoyed watching you play the original demo, so I was wondering if you'd be able to revisit it sometime?
Space Funeral. It is an intensely weird and creepy RPG maker that really is not as popular as It should be. http://gamejolt.com/games/space-funeral/3492 Has a sequel that isn't made by the original creator, and lacks the same charm, but is still decent.
http://gamejolt.com/games/other/doom-exe/40607/
This might be the only .exe game that actually seems pretty scary. This seems like a tough competitor of one of iconic pixelated horror games out there "im scared". Try this game out, this game is honestly pretty good.
My fan game, Five Days of Markiplier
Yes, I know, this is sad. However, this is the official game recommendation thread, so it makes sense to also put this here.
Porterminus (http://gamejolt.com/games/rpg/porterminus/13463/) by supajackle. It's about a girl named Julie, her boyfriend, and an odd cat. It's also about how a seemingly normal day goes terribly, terribly wrong. It contains body horror, unspeakable fates, and one or two references to OFF. Fairly short.
Undead Rider isn't really a serious game, but I think it'd give Mark some laughs :')
It has ragdoll physics, and I'd compare it to Turbo Dismount and QWOP.
I just can't believe that no one has asked for alchemilla a HL2 mod inspired by Silent hill.
he played the demo 4 years ago and he himself said he wanted to play the full game when it came out, guess he forgot.
Heres a little game i found http://www.notdoppler.com/stickfiguretestfacility.php
Stick figure test facility its pretty brutal and creative ways and means of stick/cartoon violence so i figured mark would enjoy this of or on camera, some similarities too Henry stick man adventures and dont worry mark there are no wrong answers.... its all just fun hope you and other like it
WIZARD 101 (Recommended level 8 ) (1-10)
Why I love the game- VERY CREATIVE, LOTS OF QUESTS, HAVE PETS, CUSTOMIZE YOUR WIZARD, CHOOSE WHAT SCHOOL ELEMENT YOUR WIZARD IS SUCH AS FIRE, ICE, LIFE, DEATH, STORM, BALANCE
GENRE- Massive multiplayer online RPG
I said this in the last suggestion, but I think Elite: Dangerous would be a fun one-off, if not a small series that not only the audience would enjoy, but Mark as well. Input anyone?
EDIT: The Official website-https://www.elitedangerous.com/ Steam Page-http://store.steampowered.com/app/359320
Upload consistent content. be different. try to stand out from the crowd, there are also free and paid growth tools such as TubeBuddy which as tonnes of features to help grow and manage your channel.
So I decided to take my interest in video game development a bit further, and actually downloaded Twine (good for interactive storytelling) and Stencyl (good for putting games together if you're semi-comfortable with coding).
I feel like Twine is very straightforward because it's interactive storytelling, but Stencyl has more to it because you're designing the full game; actors, scenes, and all. I'm still trying to figure out how to even GET a tutorial going.
On top of that, I still wanna keep learning French, German, Spanish and Italian.
Also, I have to apply for driving lessons tomorrow. Holy shit am I gonna be busy tomorrow.
I am making a game called "Realism Gone Mad" It's currently in pre-alpha. I made it in CryENGINE 3 and was wondering if you could give it a try. IndieDB link: http://www.indiedb.com/games/realism-gone-mad
I guess it's a long shot, but I would like to suggest my pig-versus-wolves fighting game called Iron Snout. Although, I'm not 100% sure it would make a fun LP video... But it can look pretty fun: http://giphy.com/gifs/iron-snout-yoJC2PJNr2pCYCai0E
Here you go guys, a game so much more horrifying than Amnesia, Slender, Penumbra, or any other indie horror game you have ever played . . Swamp Simulator. Have fun. http://gamejolt.com/games/other/swamp-sim-horror/20797/ Shrek es amor, Shrek es vida.
I hope you dont get me wrong, bit for crying put loud,
Buy these, please:
Not with NordVPN, it won't. NordVPN hides your identity only by masking your IP address, so that when you go searching for weird question about doctors holding Mark's balls in their hands on shady websites that all start with "you-" but never end with "-tube", they can't do anything with your IP address'cause they don't know who you are. And with up to 6 simultaneous connections, you can ask a lot of weird questions about Mark's balls, even from you phone with their special NordVPN app, available on IOs and Android. Simply go to NordVPN today 70% off a three year plan plus 1 whole month free if you use my coupon code "BALLZHAND". That is "B-A-double L-Z-H-A-N-D" all caps. Or just search without it and make your personal FBI agent question his career choices.
Looks like its up on amazon. Though waaaaayyyyy more money than I would want to spend on something like that. But cool to see, thanks. https://www.amazon.com/GoXLR-Mixer-Sampler-Voice-Streamers/dp/B07JKNG4NV
Burn: Cycle (H O R R I B L E G A M E)
I need to stop forgetting to post games.
For a cheaper mic I'd suggest a Snowball , I've not used it myself, but I've heard good things about it. Plus it's fairly cheap. I personally use the Blue Yeti for my own youtube stuff and it's done well well over the year, the only problems I have with my audio come from not having a proper recording space with sound dampeners and such. Amazon seems to be having a sale on at the moment too, I had to pay like $150 for my Yeti...
I've also generally found that a pop filter is great, but sometimes not needed. I haven't seen much difference in quality from a video where I had it compared to one where I was too lazy to go find my filter.
Also, watch some videos about sound editing in audacity, or whatever audio editing program you want to use. While you technically don't need to do it, people do tend to click off a video if it sounds like crap. Noise removal is a must, clicking mouse noises throughout a video are maddening.
Hope that helps in any way, I don't really have the money to experiment with any other mic brands
