For those new to the app, it's just called Sleeper App now
You'll probably need to adjust the notification settings. They send some pretty irrelevant ones out occasionally
Should be play store:

Are you able to access this? ^ last update Jan 7th, 2022
The full app name is sleeper - fantasy leagues with friends, you can set it to push updates on all sorts of player news and usually its a few minutes before other sources. By the time this post was up I was able to grab barber in 3 leagues.
have them go to this page ON A PC not their phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sleeperbot&hl=en_US&gl=US and sign in with their google account.
it will give an option to install remotely usually, and if it can't it will tell you why not (usually version or something).
To me $100 seems a little steep for a first time player. You may have jumped in the pool with a few sharks. The good news is, there are a ton of resources to help you out.
The first rule of Fantasy Football is: Know Thy League. What's your league's scoring system? You'll hear terms like PPR (point-per-reception) and Standard (non-PPR) scoring used. This will greatly affect how players are ranked; in PPR receivers and pass-catching running backs will get a big bump up in value. How many points per passing TD (4pts vs 6pts) may also determine how we value Quarterbacks vs. the other roster positions. What are your roster settings? How many players at each position do you need to start each week? Some leagues are 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE, some are 2QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/2Flex, etc. Starting roster requirements may greatly affect how we rank players for drafting.
Now that you have a handle on your scoring and roster settings it's time to dive into some resources for the Draft and for In-Season. Here are some of my favorites:
Hope this helps! I'll edit if I think of any others! Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
Cheers and best of luck in 2017
I'm going to copy/paste a post I've been sharing with new people looking for help. Buckle up!

Sleeperbot is also on Android. We'd love to ask you to check us out :) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sleeperbot
First and foremost, I'm a subscriber to 4for4.com. I trust their rankings and weekly waiver advice almost exclusively. $24 is worth it for me. I won my main money league and $400 this year, so it's paid for itself for the foreseeable future. All my other resources are free. Here's a full list of what I typically use:
That's all I can think of for now. I'll edit if I think of any others! Cheers
I've had the notifications problem before, but it has always shown up in the store for me. Try this link to the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sleeperbot
