So some general info/tips for newcomers to the game:
-Let's get the obvious out of the way, its a MOBA and if you've been consoles your entire life, you more than likely haven't played much of anything like it. Give it go.
-You get 6 gods free and access to the free rotation gods which change every week (on Sunday night/Monday morning US time I think). If you buy the gods pack, every god and all future ones are unlocked.
-Colorblind? There is an option in the settings to help with that.
-There is a total of 67 gods (68 soon) in the xbox version and each one has different abilities, each one plays different, and each one has it's own pros/cons.
-The x1 version is one to two patches behind the PC. Speaking from experience, the PC gets a new version and x1 will get it 3 weeks later.
-There is an Autobuy/auto ability level feature in the game. Once you start to learn how to play better, recommend turning it off and do things based off your situation.
-Skins are how your character looks. Some, but not all, change the look of abilities of the gods.
-Want free skins? Hi-rez offers some. Here's the link: http://www.smitegame.com/community/
-To play leagues, you must have 16 gods mastered (at minimum) and be rank 30. I recommend mastering more, as only mastered gods are allowed to be used.
-There is an Hirez android app for the game that hasn't really been advertised much. It's useful for general info/news, but not much else. You can check it out if you like. Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hirezstudios.smiteapp
-Need some help or someone to talk you through how to play? Do some research on the game first but if you are totally lost talk to me on xbox "L Luko 3".
I've mastered 32 gods, rank 30, and have been playing since May or so. I play almost every day and like to mix it up between the different game modes. I haven't tried Leagues but I will soon.
