Oh, a fellow HTML5 gamedev! :)
I find it odd that you think it's not fast enough for more complex games though.
Cordova/WebGL has advanced a lot in recent years, to a point where I can have thousands of objects, particles, animations with complex AI, open world simulation and still get 60 FPS on mobiles.
Draw call wise, it's not any slower than OpenGL renderers. The bottleneck however, still exist for game logic. But with recent Android OS where Google implemented JIT compiling, it's actually gotten much faster, almost native-like. On iOS, with WKWebView in iOS9+, it's basically native-like nowadays.
Star Nomad 2. Perfect while downloading X3 GoldPack with my crappy internet. Been spending hours on end with this roguelike, top-down perspective solo space sim. Economy is also surprisingly deep-ish, too. Imho, this game seems like it was made to be on mobile phones, compared to its original release PC version. No IAPs, as well.
Star Nomad 2 is on sale right now ($6.99 -> $2.99).
Star Nomad 2 was $7.49 now $4.49
I'll give it a go. I'm a solo dev, recently ported over my PC Steam game Star Nomad 2 to Android. It's well received by players on Android so far, but unfortunately due to being broke I didn't spend any $ to market it.
Here's the banner! Hopefully it looks cool enough.

Space Sci-Fi? This one is damn good, I'm having a blast on it riding to work.
