I love the idea of to-do apps to keep track of my daily activities at work and home by they're always too complicated to use. I love this widget based approach and have been using it for the week, adoring it for the productivity it provides with extreme usability.
While I have more complex todo list apps that I use, I have really come to love this widget. It's not connected to another app, and allows me to manage a few crucial tasks that I plan for today. It looks good, is customizable, and is simple enough to not get in the way.
Oh yeah forgot about that one, my bad. That's just this app which allows you to put a list widget on there, and customise it to your heart's content. Basically just set the text to have the same colour as the icons, set background opacity to zero and bob's your uncle
Saw it from a previous post made today
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stuff.todo
It's actually very useful, I was quite surprised myself

Google Keep is ok, but I like some of the functions of this app.
It lets you set tasks for today, tomorrow (auto advances to today), or other categories to keep things sorted. I've found it pretty easy to use and the widget fits well into my home screen.
There is a straight forward option for Android called "Stuff- to do list widget(taska and notes)". I like this widget simple because it's so simple and it has four categories including 'someday' by default but you can add one of your own and add task on the fly.

It's just a widget, no app, but you can maintain lists of items in various renamable categories. Touching an item crosses it out, but you can set it to automatically remove the item at the end of the day, so you can see what you did today, and it will be gone tomorrow (and can also touch it again to uncross it if needed).

Calendar Widget by Home Agenda https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.agenda
One of the few calendar apps that can show multiple past events, surprisingly hard to find that. Also looks nice.
So, i downloaded a todo list app - Stuff that has download size of 866 kb. This made me curious about what other apps people might be using..
Also a pro tip, if u have an android get this widget, put it directly on your home screen, and use it to keep track of and plan studying/assignments. Seeing your outline every time you look at your phone prevents surprise due dates (put the due date and weekday abbreviation in brackets next to each assignment and test). also makes you aware further in advance if there will be a cluster of things due in a given week. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stuff.todo&hl=en_US
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stuff.todo&hl=en_US if you have a droid get that widget and put it on homescreen of your phone. Every time you get an assignment or test, enter it into the list with the date in brackets next to it. if your anxiety is diagnosed, go to disability services and get accomodations for testing time and location.
I use this widget constantly. If you don't need the plethora of options of a to-do app like Tick Tick, and just want something simple to jot down tasks quickly so you don't forget, this widget is fantastic.
Being able to add and edit tasks from the homescreen is so fast.
Here's my to-do homepage:
Note - the "To-do" bar at the top is a kwgt widget.
Stuff is my go-to. Simple, pleasant-looking, and effective.

Another one:

It's more of a tasker though, but it has more customization and isn't too expansive.
Stuff - Todo Widget is really simple and clean.
