Fontos még: nézd meg a telódon, hogy nem árnyékol-e le valami, szép-e a térerőd, és jön-e a 4g a wc-ben is.
Here is a full album showing the unhealthy shrub up close, as well as the two other healthy ones.
We have three identical shrubs that were planted at least before November 2018 (when we bought our property). My wife thinks they are possibly Drooping Leucothoe, but we're not totally sure. I'm curious why one of them is dying, if I can save it, and if I should be worried about the other two being affected too.
The other two seem healthy, albeit a few sporadic leaves that are browning / yellowing. I can't pinpoint exactly when the problematic one started browning, but we think it flowered with the other two earlier this Spring, and I noticed the unhealthy state about a week and a half ago; however, it could have been declining without me noticing.
Our sprinkler system was broken until recently, so I was curious if maybe it was lacking water. But I feel that we've had plenty of rain, and I'd think the other two next to it would be suffering as well if that was the case. I was also curious if the problem is fungal, so I sprayed a few branches with Neem Oil, a fungicide I used on my rose bush, to see if that does anything. But I'm not sure if that is the correct substance to treat a fungus affecting this type of shrub, if the problem is even fungal. I've also noticed some spiderwebs on the shrub, but I'm not sure if that is a cause or a symptom, or just natural.
We are in Southwest Tennessee, which is Zone 7b according to the USDA website. I would estimate according to this sun position app that the shrub currently gets about seven hours of sun; during Winter the sun aligns such that the house blocks a lot of the sun. We recently cut a big tree branch that may have opened it up to slightly more sun, but again, the other two next to it seem healthy.
Thanks in advance for your time!
Thanks!
Downloaded this app, but looks like i'm completely out of direct sun light all day. =(
