This has been one of the best apps I've downloaded for this exact use. You snap a pic of a receipt and it itemizes everything. You can assign everyone to the right things, split things, and then it factors in tax and tip too. No more guessing who needs to pay for what or tip what.
I have tried Blitter and Tab and found that Tab was much better at properly recognizing the bill, and was quicker about assigning bill items to individuals (1 click per item instead of 2.) Wish they made sharing the bill and viewing it again a bit more simple, but it appears to still be in development (they have a beta) so hopefully it continues to improve.
There's an app called Tab, take a pic of the bill, it uses OCR to read it, choose your tip amount, who had what, it provides each person's contribution and folks just accept it as an objective report and the math is done.
Ah that seems to be a different app entirely. The Plates by splitwise app is only available for iOS. I am less familiar but perhaps this app might work: Tab
There's an app called Tab which uses OCR on a bill which I've only used a couple times, but seem to recall it calculating some standard tip amounts automagically.
(It's main purpose is to split a bill between multiple people and proportionally divides the tip.)
Yup, I've started using it and it's made splitting checks trivial.
There's a grab app that solves this problem.
You can scan the bill and easily split it between people.

Tab. Lets you split an itemized tab (including splitting the cost of single items, tax, tip, etc) among multiple people.
$BILL ÷ number of people
Every phone I know has a calculator.
Hell, OK Google and Siri will even do it for you.
If it must be in a specific-to-splitting-bills app form try one of these:

I'm sure there's plenty of others, that was like 10 seconds in Google.
