Good post. I was just doing some searches myself for this as well. Unfortunately not cheap but the Jackbox Party Pack games get good reviews.

Jackbox Games are amazing. I haven't tried the android version, only PC and Xbox, but one device/pc/console runs the game (you might be able to chromecast it to a tv or have a large enough tablet for everyone to see/hear) and everyone else visits jackbox.tv on their devices web app and plays the mini games.
I linked the third jackbox game set because it has my favorite set of mini-games but the others are very good as well.
They are expensive for phone games but you will pay the same price on PC and are well worth it IMO.

They're expensive as hell though (and you should probably get them on console or PC since you need to use your phone for your controller anyway).
