Not OP but when I wanted to brush up, no reason...just because, I used this quiz app World Geography Quiz Game that allows you to retry, offers different difficulty levels, has a lot of information on each Country if desired, etc, etc. it's a more of a learning tool than a quiz (although shows you your progress) and honestly could be easily used by children or adults.
Excerpt: World Geography is a quiz game that will help you learn everything about countries - maps, flags, capitals, population, religion, language, currency and much more. This quiz game will help you learn everything about geography in an easy and enjoyable way.
Timor Oriental. J'ai le même talent, aussi avec les capitales et autres conneries. Je conseille ce jeu de géographie, j'y ai passé des heures et des heures et j'ai pas encore débloqué la moitié des trucs.

If you're looking for a good family fued-like experience: 94% on Android store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scimob.ninetyfour.percent&hl=en
There's no "one weird trick" for glyphing. There's just practice.
You can use apps like this one for low-stakes practice, but so far as I know, none of them are up to date with all the glyphs and sequences.

Here, you can memorize everything. From Namibia to Saint Vincent and the grenadines.
That is the best application for geography and vexillology, there is no better one. (at least for free).
Good post. I was just doing some searches myself for this as well. Unfortunately not cheap but the Jackbox Party Pack games get good reviews.

Ha a geokvízeket szereted, ez az androidos app elég jó, nagyon sokáig lehet játszani, de a "world geography" keresőkifejezésre egész csomó webes találat van, amivel el lehet ütni az időt.
(edit: itt az ios verzió)
LOL it literally took months, but I've finally played the World Geography game enough to start recognizing flag emojis. I feel very smart! 🇸🇸 🇲🇼 🇷🇼 🇹🇹

World Geograohy. A quiz app that let's you learn a lot about geography. Countries, capitals, flags etc. I'm quite sure the picture OP uses, is a screenshot from that app.
Search for "Country Quiz" or "World Quiz" on the Android or Apple app store. Any of these will do, here's an example. Spend a few minutes a day while you're on the toilet or something, and watch yourself magically improve.
Also get a big wall scroll type world map (or just print a small one out!) and look at it when you're bored. You'll improve very quickly.
As others have mentioned, practice makes permanent. Learn the right names for the glyphs, even if you have to say them out loud to yourself. After enough times, you'll have it in muscle memory. No brain work required :)
There are apps to help you learn if you don't have any handy portals to practice on. I've linked them below.
iOS: link, severely outdated glyphs
Android: link
This is the most like the game but it's not as smooth https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.org.example.geckour.glyph
This one runs smoother and is more user friendly https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alsantsu.memoglyph
I think they have lots of party packs. I play some on my Android TV or tablet hooked up to TV, before people started doing it on their switches at work. Call me a hipster since I was doing it before the switch was out.
Edit. That link has You don't know Jack as part of the party pack.
> JackPad - Free - Rating: 57/100 - Search for 'The Jackbox Party Pack 3' on the Play Store
NO!
Bad bot!!

There's apps to help you remember all the different countries. I'd recommend you try one so that you can be less of a geography noob.
Hey you can try "94%" it's kinda challenging and you have to active your mind to find all the words... Not exactly brain trining, but I think it's a good exercise, it's working for me :D
And also you can try with Ruzzle
Yes, the best!! You Don't Know Jack, it's part of the Jackbox party pack. Fibbage is extremely popular too. Worth every penny.
A game called 94% on Playstore is a lot like this. Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scimob.ninetyfour.percent
It is fairly lenient with spelling and phrasing of answers but still a lot of fun.
Seterra which you mentioned is my favorite but also World Geography by Atom Games
Not an app but a site: Worldle - have 6 tries to guess the country from silhouette; each guess, it tells you the distance and direction to correct answer
I think the OP kind of knew that they'd invented a country name.
I wouldn't say that either the UN or G7 don't recognise countries. I think maybe what you mean is that not all countries of the world are members. There are unrecognised states, of course, but if you learn about countries, you learn about those, too.
This is a really good app that you can learn that info, and more, from. World Geography by Atom Games
Man thats just an old me,I used struggle with geography so much back then like I thought France was in asia lol(its in Europe)but I got recommended a geo video by drew durnil on yt and I watched it and I was overwhelmed by the knowledge he had about geography and I looked through his channel and did other things related to this and I was bored just learning about countries and other stuff and I wanted to test my self so badly so I roamed through most of the apps in playstore and I found a game called world map quiz(only for mobile tho) and it had many tests for me and also a interactive world map to learn more :)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qbis.guessthecountry
This is the one I use: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.age.wgg.appspot&hl=en_US&gl=US
It's on iOS as well.
It has flags early on but you have to progress to get more questions. But it has lots more than flags and extends beyond countries to flags of the US, islands, and other autonomous regions.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.age.wgg.appspot
This one, it's quite the grind though, gotta play a lot before you unlock the difficult questions.
It's multiple-choice too, so that helps making it easier, but for the more obscure countries that might be nescesarry.
In the end-game the questions get pretty insane, things like name of the highest point in the country, population of the capital, etc.). This is where it kinda stops getting extremely useful and becomes a lot more geeky, wich is still pretty cool
>!am I the only one playing at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.age.wgg.appspot&hl=en_US&gl=US ? :) !<

The price and the description give me the impression that they're on Android.
Also, you have to set the chromecast up as your stadia device, don't you? So you would need your friend to reset it up?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.age.wgg.appspot
I went from knowing almost nothing to knowing nearly every country, capital, and flag. The game has a great progression system and slowly grows in difficulty as you play more and level up. It's such a simple looking game but it's incredibly functional and feels like it's dedicated to learning rather than spamming you with social integration like most games.
There are several apps to help learn. The one that worked for me is now called "Glyph [REDACTED]" which matches the original Ingress glyphing quite well and can be set to give you particular sequence lengths so you can start with single glyphs and work up to 5 at a time.
Quizup is pretty fun! Topic on anything you can think of. You can chat, challenge each other, and play real-time or finish your turn when you have time. It's the best one I have found for my SO. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quizup.core
For Android, Two Player Reactor is always fun to play.
There's a paid Four Player Reactor version as well.
The fact that everybody plays simultaneously on the same phone somehow adds to the overall experience.
Jackbox Games are amazing. I haven't tried the android version, only PC and Xbox, but one device/pc/console runs the game (you might be able to chromecast it to a tv or have a large enough tablet for everyone to see/hear) and everyone else visits jackbox.tv on their devices web app and plays the mini games.
I linked the third jackbox game set because it has my favorite set of mini-games but the others are very good as well.
They are expensive for phone games but you will pay the same price on PC and are well worth it IMO.
AppTrailers Android | iOS is an app that is part of the perk family. Perk has a bunch of apps and a few websites. It's basically just another GPT app. If you don't have an app or tablet, you might be out of luck though. Perk still has a PayPal section, I just don't see that instant section.
Honestly though, it's a waste of points to redeem through the website. There's an insane markup cost. You'd be better off getting gift cards and selling them over at /r/giftcardexchange.
Did you convert points from app trailers? The max payout per day through Instant Paypal is only $2, but it doesn't replace the actual Paypal option which has higher amounts with bad rates. Maybe the option just isn't there outside the US.
App Trailers is a completely different app from Perk Wallet, Perk TV, etc:

Here is an example of a game that either was, or could be made in Android Studio. Most other games should stick to a dedicated game engine.

What devices are compatible? I have a nexus 5x. Does it work well?

Also could someone tell me how much it costs?
QuizUp: Asynchronous (or real-time) multiplayer quiz game, has heaps of different topics so no matter what you're into you can find something.
App Trailers might be good for you: if you run the App Trailers and accrue enough points (500), you'll get 50c (US) sent to your PayPal (with more points adding more cents) very quickly (normally).
However, that being said, your PayPal must be verified and you'll need to log in via Facebook.
Plus, they may (probably -- they did a check on my App Trailers account, and I'd already used them before!) delay payment for up to 48 hours, while they "check your account". This may be the clinch for you.
Given that you're most likely from Italy (the Amazon and currency requirement giving it away), I'm not sure if you'll get loads of ads like an American or ( to a lesser extent) a UK user.
Still, it's relatively passive on your phone, so you've got little to lose by trying except for time, really. And who knows: even if it doesn't help you for this situation, you could still earn a few dollars a month from it in the future!
If you do try it, here's my app code for some extra points when you sign up: "trainingjoni6"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appredeem.apptrailers
Also, there's Earn Honey for desktops, phones, and laptops, etcetera, though this is for future earnings and not for your current dilemma (they take up to a week to pay for US Amazon and PayPal, but on the plus side they have an option to withdraw to an unverified PayPal for 75 cents more than a verified).
Basically, leave videos to auto-play while you do something else, like work or school or sleep, accrue Honey Dollars; exchange those Honey Dollars for stuff.
You might be in the 50% who earns a lot, or like me who is in the other 50% and earns very little. The only way to see is to sign-up and see how well you earn, and if it's worth the time.

I've been eyeing the Jackbox Party Pack for Android TV, but at $25 it is ridiculously overpriced. I won't feel so bad spending my free credit on it, especially since I don't really have anything else in mind.
I guess we are talking about 2 different things. This is what I am talking about...
The only thing I'd add to the list from /u/Bigsam411 is XBMC and gaming w/ Emulators and GRID. Also some Android TV only apps that dont work on chromecast, like The Jackbox Party Pack.
