The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of three arrests in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
in July 2015, a 19-year-old man began conversing with a 13-year-old girl
in August 2015, the man lured the girl to his home
once inside the home, the man and two friends sexually assaulted the girl
The assault was later reported to police.
In February 2016, the man, Trian Vassel, 19, of Toronto, was arrested while in custody for unrelated matters, and charged with:

on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, a 17-year-old boy attended a restaurant in the Victoria Street and Dundas Street East area
the boy went into the restaurant to use the men's washroom
a man entered the men's washroom and sexually assaulted the boy
the man fled and was last seen walking toward the Yonge Street and Gould Street intersection
The man is described as brown, 5'9" to 5'10", heavy set, black beard and moustache, and wears his hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a blue plaid long-sleeve shirt, dark pants and dark shoes. He was carrying a cane and had a roller-bag.

On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 12:05 p.m., police received a call for a theft of a vehicle in the area of Bond Street and Shuter Street.
It is alleged that:
a man was seen leaving the area in a stolen vehicle,
officers from 51 Division located the vehicle and after a short pursuit were able to stop the vehicle at Parliament Street and Mill Street
during the stop, police fired multiple shots
A man has been taken into custody.
There were no injuries and the investigation is continuing.

On Sunday, April 10, 2016, the Toronto Police Service alerted the public to a Sexual Assault investigation and requested the public’s assistance identifying the man wanted.
On Saturday, April 9, 2016, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Parliament Street and Howard Street area.
It is alleged that:
a 52-year-old woman was in an elevator in an apartment building
she was approached by a man
the man displayed a handgun and directed the woman to leave the elevator
she was forced to the stairwell where she was sexually assaulted
the man fled the building
On Tuesday, April 19, 2016, Kyle Michael Junior Young, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested. He was charged with:
1) Sexual Assault with a Weapon
2) Uttering Threats
3) Use of Firearm During Commission of Indictable Offence
4) Point Firearm
5) Possession of Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
6) Careless Use of Firearm
7) Carry Concealed Weapon
He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, 10 a.m.

It is alleged that:
from Wednesday, April 1, 2015, to Tuesday, October 27, 2015, girls between 13 and 16 were approached by a man in the Rathburn Road and Renforth Drive area
the man approached the girls, asking for directions
during the conversation, the man would sexually assault the girls
It is further alleged that:
the man has utilized social media to have an online relationship with a 15-year-old girl
the girl was coerced into a one-on-one meeting with the man
the man then sexually assaulted the girl
It is further alleged that he has been using the following social media aliases to contact the girls:

On Saturday, October 10, 2015, at approximately 3 a.m., a 28-year-old woman exited a northbound TTC bus in the Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue East area.
It is reported that:
she was followed off the bus by an unknown man
he approached her from behind
he sexually assaulted her
he initiated a brutal attack on the woman
she was punched repeatedly about the head
a violent struggle ensued
he then fled in a northerly direction
He is described as medium complexion, 5’9”-5’11”, skinny build, 25-35, short black hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a tan waist-length jacket.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a man involved in the attempted abduction of a nine-year-old boy.
On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, between 8:35 and 8:55 a.m., a nine-year-old boy was walking to school in the Thorncliffe Park Drive and Overlea Boulevard area.
It is reported that:
an unknown man approached the boy who was walking alone
the man grabbed the boy by his shoulder
the boy was able to break his grasp and run to school
as the boy left school later, during lunch, he saw the same man
the man began to approach the boy again
the boy ran back to school where he informed a teacher
The man is described as brown, 40s to early 50s, 6'0", with short light brown hair, short facial hair near the chin that is light-grey, and a moustache. He was wearing a white shirt, dark zip-up jacket, black pants with word 'ADIDAS' written near pocket, Nike shoes with orange on them, and a black hat with an orange circular symbol.

the woman fled with over $1,000 in cash
The woman is described as being in her 30s, thin, with shoulder-length brown hair. She was wearing hot-pink scrubs, a white baseball cap, white shoes and a royal blue lanyard with a white name tag.

on Monday, November 9, 2015, Toronto Police were alerted to two suspicious incidents at City Hall
on Sunday, October 25, 2015, a man tied two capped syringes to the front doors of City Hall with blue rubber ribbons
on Sunday, November 1, 2015, the same man attempted to tie two capped syringes to a barricade near the front doors of City Hall but fled as security approached
The man is described as white, with dark hair in a "puffy" ponytail. He was wearing black pants with either a red stripe or red writing down the side of each leg, and carrying a dark backpack.

On Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 4:54 p.m., officers responded to a call for a series of assaults in the College Park area.
It is reported that:
a 50-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk
he was attacked and knocked to the ground by an unknown man
the unknown man continued into the mall
as he walked down the stairs, he shoved a 70-year-old woman
at the bottom of the stairs, he punched a 54-year-old woman in the face, knocking her to the ground
He is described as black, 6'0", 220 lbs., with dreadlocks and a full beard. He was wearing a hat, long dark jacket, jeans and boots. He was carrying a black bag.
The suspect is considered violent. If you see him, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.
The 50-year-old man and 54-year-old woman were taken to hospital by ambulance. The man suffered a broken hip and broken wrist, the woman suffered a broken wrist and bruising to her face.

on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in the same condominium, the man loitered inside the women’s change room which he entered from the pool area
In both incidents the man was confronted but fled before he could be identified.
He is described as approximately 6'2", with a thin build, short brown hair, and a brown beard. He was wearing a red baseball cap, blue T-shirt, dark-blue shorts, and white running shoes.

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying two men wanted in an Assault with a Weapon investigation.
On Saturday, October 3, 2015, at approximately 10 p.m., officers were in the Yonge Street and Dundas Square area responding to a call for a Stabbing and another call for a Person with a Gun.
It is reported that:
officers had remained in the square, after the investigation of the two calls, to respond to several fights that had broken out
the officers were surrounded by a large and hostile crowd
some people began to throw bottles at the officers
one officer was struck in the hand
another officer was struck in the head
Investigators have obtained security camera images of the two men. The images are now released.

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Assault investigation and requesting assistance in identifying the suspect.
It is reported that:
on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was walking on the footpath along Hwy 27, south of Humber College Blvd
a man approached her from behind
the man knocked the woman to the ground, then sexually assaulted her
the man was last seen southbound along the pathway
The man is described as black or brown, 5'6"-5'7", average build, straight hair, unkempt at the collar, and had a strong body odour/sweat. He was last seen wearing a yellow, beige or cream T-shirt, dark long pants and, possibly, sandals.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing boy.
Giles Bennitt-Francois, 14, was last seen on Monday, August 17, 2015, at 1 p.m., in the Church Street and Gerrard Street East area.
He is described as 5'7"-5'8", 150 lbs., slim-to-medium build and slightly muscular. He was last seen wearing black pants with camouflage colours of red and green, a black T-shirt with writing on the front, and light-grey Jordan runners with baby blue on the sole.
Police are concerned for his safety.

It is reported that:
on Monday, June 29, 2015, at approximately 3 p.m., a 20-year-old woman was at a restaurant in the Dundas Street West and University Avenue area
she left her iPhone unattended on a table while at the register
two unknown women were standing near the register when one women took the iPhone from the table and hid it in her purse
Security camera footage of the suspect and person of interest are available on YouTube.
The suspect was wearing a grey t-shirt, beige shorts and had a yellow purse.
The Person of Interest was dressed in black, wearing a baseball cap and had a purse.

In the early hours of Tuesday, August 4, 2015, officers were at Muzik, 15 Saskatchewan Road, for a large event. There was a crowd of several thousand patrons. At approximately 3:25 a.m., as the club was shutting down, multiple gunshots were fired both inside the club and outside. Officers discovered a man inside the club and a woman, just north of the Dufferin Gates, who died of apparent gunshot injuries.
