Ok...sorry for leaving you high and dry...Sorry about that but I had life issues lol.
Anyways, so now your onto something! Now when your logged into your Starlink router can you find the setting to Split Channels and name and save them. When you do this you give the wireless a name and you create a password for each the 2.4 and 5ghz channels. Remember what you create for passwords.
Now save and likely reboot the Starlink router. Now with your TPlink extender go and download on your phone the TPlink app...
If you own an Android Phone go to the Android App Playstore and search for TPLink Tether app.
If you have an IPhone then go to their app store and again search for the TPLink Tether app.
Android App
IPhone App
Once you get that loaded then you'll want to plug in your extender...then fire up the app...scan and you should see it show up. Now click it and somewhere in there you should see a scan option to connect to a wifi network (Your Starlink Wireless). Let it connect and it'll then ask some things like name the connection etc...just do what it says keeping the same credentials etc. It'll then connect and you should hopefully see that status lights on the extender light up correctly! Now Plug the Ethernet cable into the extender that runs to your house (225feet) and plug in on the other end into whatever your plugging in and it should be now working!
I wonder if maybe it's just not talking to your router and doing its job as a repeater. Install TP-Link Tether from the Play Store so you can get in and troubleshoot the repeater. It'll give you a whole management console like this.
Yes, you pretty much remove the Starlink Router from the setup and park it as a spare incase of an emergency. You take the White Cable that you unplugged from Starlinks Router and plug it into the TPlink WAN port on the back of the router (Blue Port). Turn it on if it isn't already on. Let it establish a connection in a few minutes. Now you can download the TPLink App for a phone here TPLink Router Tether (Android but if you have Apple then go there and get it). Pretty much just set a login password for the router then setup a password and name for both the 2.4 and 5GHz wifi bands and your done.
After when it's setup you can login to the router from a PC by entering 192.168.0.1 into a web browser (you can also type http://tplinkwifi.net into your web browser but 192.168.0.1 is easier) and go back into the settings and apply a static route to see the Starlink STATS.
It's going to depend on your router.
I use a TP-Link that has a pretty decent app.
