We have an Android app for TrackDota (live esports matches). It will even send you a notification when your favorite teams are playing. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackdota.tdapp
As far as a Dotabuff app... we have some big plans for a better experience on mobile. Expect to see something before TI.
If you're at work, check out www.trackdota.com - I've got live updates and streams for every match on there.
Also, I updated my Android app recently to add Twitch streams - you can also stream in audio-only mode with the screen off for the ultimate level in discreet twitch streaming!
Nope, not the same company. TrackDota is pretty much developed by myself (the other dev has left for another job).
My app has loads more information than Live Dota and we automatically detect streams for every match - meaning that it's hard to miss a stream. We have much more graphs and stats to dig into, ability builds, action logs, etc.
But seeing is believing. Both TrackDota and Live Dota are very small and don't require weird permissions, install both and see the difference for yourself :)
I used LiveDota before but after seeing TrackDota, I immediately switched.
It gives you more match information than LiveDota.
DotaFM is running - it's pretty great - http://mixlr.com/dotafm/
Also if you have an Android phone check out my app on Google Play - it has live scores and lets you stream audio-only versions of any twitch stream.
Hey,
I remembered this post, and maybe this helps:
Those are the so called major tournaments, at least classified by Liquipedia, which is a fairly good and relieable source for tournaments, formats and Teams/Players.
Also I personally use this app TrackDota for Android! It's fairly convenient and tells you when matches starts for certain teams and or leagues you have subscribed for!
Greetings and thanks again for all the work! :)
I'm not sure what aspect of dotabuff you're looking to get out of an app. Afaik no one tries to reach feature parity.
If you like tracking esports, you should check out the Trackdota app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackdota.tdapp&hl=en It's great for live games and you can get notifications when your favorite teams play.
Sure pm me your bank acc details too while you're at it thanks.
Seriously though, use trackdota app to get alert on match on the go https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackdota.tdapp
I would love to have Dota 2 app like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackdota.tdapp It reminds you when the game went live and its smooth, much better then the webpage. I would donate few bucks since this would be very handy while traveling.
For iOS i found this app Redhot Tracker for Dota 2 which says it will do notifications.
For Android TrackDOTA is going to add it, but it's not a current feature.
try this for android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackdota.tdapp
edit: apparently you can stream directly within the app too, and it has web version at http://www.trackdota.com
For live games Track Dota's app is pretty handy.

You ever heard of TrackDota? Cause you're making a clone of it.

TrackDota is pretty minimalistic imo

You still need twitch/hitbox/mlg/dailymotion to stream stuff though
Very similar to TrackDota the only difference it's the fantasy team and predictions
I used to partially watch on an app.
I used this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackdota.tdapp
Not sure if it still works or if it's what you're looking for.
trackdota.com
They also have an Android app
