This app looks like a clone of this converter by Digit Grove or maybe it's the other way around? The one I linked has a more recent update (even the exchange currency) and comes free by default. IIRC, the "about us" page of Pega pro version links to Digit Grove's email.
This app went on sale a month ago. As I commented previously, it would seem that this is a clone of the converter by Digit Grove which is more updated and comes free but has ads (hadn't encountered one since I'm using an ad block). Just check the email in the "about us" page of both apps for proof.
On a side note, are there any converters out there that's as functional as this and preferably open source as well?
There's multiple apps that can convert metric to imperial (I use this one regularly ) and Google works pretty good to convert stuff, too.
How is it different from unit converter by Digit Grove? Both look exactly the same on screenshots...

You can pay for the premium but I've never needed to.
Or we could just use a Unit Converter App
